Ethan Mitchell

Ethan Mitchell is a former youth pastor who has now transitioned into his role as a small groups pastor. He is a graduate of Seattle Pacific University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, and Grace School of Theology, where he is earning a Master’s in Divinity. 

 

Ethan has always had a passion for preaching and teaching the word of God. He is known for his ability to engage his audience with relevant and thought-provoking messages that challenge them to grow in their faith. As the small groups pastor at New Community, Ethan is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of small group programs. He has a gift for creating a sense of community and belonging among the members of his small groups, and he is committed to helping them grow in their faith and in their relationships with one another.

Ken Mitchell

Ken Mitchell is a successful lead pastor who has excelled in leadership, preaching, and mentoring. Ken received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Biola University and his Master’s of Divinity degree from Dallas Theological seminary. 

 

In 1993, Ken and Valerie planted a church in Maple Valley, Washington. Under their leadership, the church grew significantly and became known for its dynamic worship services and impactful community outreach programs. Ken’s preaching style is engaging and inspiring, and he is known for her ability to connect biblical teachings with practical steps to move one’s faith from their head to their heart to their feet.
