Welcome to Day 3 of the Stacking Balance: 21 Micro Shifts for Lasting Results challenge! You’re already two days in, and I hope you’re feeling the momentum. Today’s shift is all about being your own best friend by doing three small things to set yourself up for a better tomorrow.

Here’s the truth: Future you will always thank today you for a little extra effort. Think of this as a way to show yourself some love. These are quick, practical wins that can transform a hectic morning into a calm, productive start.

Your challenge today is to choose three things that will make your tomorrow easier and more seamless.

  • Examples: Prep your lemon water (1 lemon, pinch of sea salt, and 20 oz of water), set out your workout clothes, and review your schedule to make any adjustments.
  • Other ideas: Order groceries for delivery tomorrow, prep breakfast or lunch, or unload the dishwasher tonight so your kitchen feels fresh in the morning.

For me, my go-to three are:

  •  Setting up my lemon water
  •  Laying out my workout clothes
  •  Making sure the kitchen is clean before bed.

It’s like I’m leaving little gifts for my future self, and it always pays off.

When you take a few minutes to prepare for tomorrow, you reduce decision fatigue and morning stress. A Harvard Business Review study found that planning ahead reduces anxiety by up to 20%.

Think of this as a way to build trust with yourself. You’re saying, “I care about you, future me,” and that positive energy carries forward into your day.

That’s your Day 3 challenge! Pick three things and set yourself up for success tomorrow. I’d love to hear what you chose—share your wins with the hashtag #StackingBalance. Tune in tomorrow for Day 4, where we’ll focus on starting the day with gratitude. See you then!
