Chairman Jerry Kassar

Brooklyn-native Jerry Kassar, with an extensive 40-year legislative career, has significantly impacted local and state politics. His notable roles include State Senator Martin Golden’s Chief of Staff, NYS Commissioner of the Interstate Environmental Commission, and numerous key positions within the Conservative Party. Kassar's advocacy for pro-life issues has remained a constant throughout his political journey. As a community leader, he contributes to the Dyker Heights Civic Association and pens a weekly column, "Common Sense," in the Brooklyn Home Reporter. Jerry and his wife Janet still call Dyker Heights home.

Gonzalo Duran

Gonzalo Duran, raised in the Belmont area of the Bronx by his single mother from El Salvador, is a Marine Corps Veteran committed to serving his community. After high school, where he was active in wrestling and volunteer work, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving eight years and completing a tour in Iraq, reaching the rank of Sergeant. As a father of two, Gonzalo faced homelessness after his service but earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Fordham University. He later founded Devil Dog USA Incorporated, supporting Veterans with housing, employment, and mental health services. Now, he's focused on addressing economic challenges in the Bronx and preserving affordable housing for the community.
