Shabana's journey is deeply rooted in the legacy of her father, Abdul Razzak Yaqoob.  He was a self-made entrepreneur and philanthropist who pioneered various aspects of the jewellery business in the UAE - including gold bullion minting, and even gold certification in Dubai since he launched ARY in 1969. 
 
Shabana, who worked in the business through the years taking various responsibilities, ultimately stepped into her father’s shoes upon his demise in 2014. Today, as the CEO of ARY Jewelry, she continues to build upon her family's legacy, preserving its traditions while introducing innovations that reflect the evolving jewellery market. She's also an advocate for women's empowerment and gender equality.
