Michael Rosenberger
Michael Rosenberger was the executive director, food and child nutrition services (FCNS), for the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). With an enrollment of approx. 157,000 students, DISD is the second largest district in Texas and is among the largest public school districts in the United States. In January 2019, FCNS achieved a historic milestone – for the first time in district history, the department earned a perfect Administrative Review. In doing do, DISD became the largest district in Texas to ever achieve this level of accomplishment. Both nationally and within Texas, FCNS is recognized by several non-profit agencies as a “top ten” department in terms of student participation and meal quality.
