Moms Who Wellness
Inspired by their own journeys of being working moms who are focused on all things wellness, Cristina and Leslie have conversations with other moms about their careers, how they prioritize time with their families and what wellness means to them.
Moms Who Wellness
Ariana Metchik, MD - Acute Care and Surgical Critical Care Fellow
We're so excited to kick off our first episode of 2024 with Ariana - she is a force. A Harvard Medical School graduate, and a former peace corps volunteer, Ari discusses her trajectory from an artist, to a health care volunteer, to becoming a doctor who would later specialize in acute and trauma surgery. She is a mother of two and had her first daughter 6 weeks into her General Surgery Residency at Georgetown/Washington Hospital Center and her second daughter during a research year. Ari's story is fascinating and was a joy for us to record. We hope you enjoy listening!
Head to our Instagram to see some of her artwork and a picture from her time in the Peace Corps @Momswhowellness.
