Shontell is a wife, a mama to five, a writer, public speaker, former educator, and paralegal at a firm that offers help to victims of sexual exploitation. She likes short walks on the beach that lead to tacos or other snack items. Her book Missionary Mom is the first of many. Her love language is tacos, books, and words in any form.

Jacob is an east coast native, born and raised in the northern Virginia DC metro area. He was saved at the age of 5, strayed from the church at the age of 16, and was living apart from God. The Lord called him to Reno, NV in 2018. Despite his bewilderment in the choice of location, he was obedient. After years of being away from the church, it was here his faith was revived, and committed to full surrender. A true prodigal son. Since then his life has been on a new path he never thought possible, and he’s experienced growth that he could never achieve himself. He loves to share about Jesus and what He’s done in his life in hopes that it may bring someone else closer to God.
