When you first start a Pilates business, you do almost everything yourself. You answer the emails, manage the schedule, teach the classes, solve the problems, make the decisions and probably clean the studio at some point too.
But what happens when the business grows and doing everything yourself is no longer possible?

We talk about why delegation can be surprisingly emotional, how easily an owner can become the bottleneck in their own business, and why hiring people doesn't actually reduce your workload if every decision still has to come through you.
We also discuss the difference between delegating tasks and delegating responsibility, allowing people to do things differently than you would, creating clear standards, accepting that mistakes will happen, and deciding which parts of the business genuinely still need you.
As your business grows, your job has to grow with it. Eventually, leadership isn't about becoming capable of doing everything yourself. It's about building a team that is capable without you.
