
Roger Topp
Roger Topp is Director of Exhibits, Design, and Digital Media at the UA Museum of the North and has been with UAMN for more than 24 years. He came to Fairbanks and the North as a graduate student and earned an M.S. in physical oceanography and an M.F.A. in creative writing. He brings to museum exhibits diverse experiences in project management, strategic planning, video production, computer animation, game design, and software and hardware programming. At the extremes, he is a six-time state and one-time national champion fencer, state champion archer, and a prize-winning slam poet. Even further outside the world of museums, his short fiction and nonfiction have appeared in Zyzzyva, The Maine Review, Bennington Review, West Branch, Orca, West Trade Review, and many other journals and magazines.
