SPEAKER_00:

It's a roll up to Christmas and we're on to the Each E la. Good morning everybody. I'm happy to say that even though I am recording solo, our Claire has had her major massive, major, massive, major, massive surgery. I think it was seven hours in the end. Two surgeons tag teaming from two different hospitals. It was a very long wait, but I got a phone call from her mum later that day to say that she was out of surgery and recovering. And then I've been able to go and see her yesterday. She's in the critical care unit. She's very sick. She's extremely sore. And she's a little bit pissed off. But she's um super strong and stoic as ever. Um, her gallows humour is there under the surface at the very least. Um, and she's taken everything in her stride. Um so yeah, she's oh yeah, so that was yesterday, and now she's actually been released from critical care onto a ward, so she's got her own little room now for the rest of the duration, touch wood, and she's well, and I really wanted to let everyone know that she's through the surgery, and now it's just a long road to full recovery, but I know she can do it, and you if you're a listener, you know she can do it. Um, so yeah, that update of Christmas cheer that Claire is sorted. Um and it's Christmas Eve for me, and I've got I've just been to the school, didn't have my kids last night, but I've just been to the school to watch singing on the yard, and um then I've got Christmas Eve tonight, I've got work meeting now. I mean I'm going into all sorts of boring shit, aren't I? This is not podcast fodder, so uh I'll go. But I wish you a very Merry Christmas, and um I don't know if we've got any pre-recorded Christmas episodes left. So if this little advent chaos calendar drops off the edge of a cliff, it doesn't mean we have, it's just uh Christmas is in full, full chaos swing. But me and Claire are hoping to record you a little pod on Christmas Day in the Aussie. So I'll keep you posted on that if need be. Merry Christmas to all and to all. A good night. Good morning. Bye.
