Because your wardrobe? It’s not neutral. It is vibrating at a  frequency. And that frequency is either matching your next-level self… or keeping you anchored in an outdated identity.

We’re going to unpack:

  • What your current style says about your beliefs, emotions, and energetic state

  • How to identify where you’re dressing from: scarcity or expansion?

  • And how to begin curating a wardrobe that speaks your soul’s frequency into every room you walk into.

This episode will shift how you get dressed for the rest of your life.

This channel is made up of uncensored conversations so that we can normalize talking about ALL THE THINGS, self-indulgence, sex & relationships, SMUT, luxury, and so much more. To openly discuss what hasn’t been “allowed” to talk about in either your family, circle of friends, or place of worship.

This came about because I see so much insecurity in women and I want to show that you aren’t alone in any of this.

Hey, hey, welcome back, gorgeous souls, to another episode of Live Life Lubricated, the space where we don't just talk about beauty or power, we embody it. And this is where we learn to live in a full color magic, everyday euphoria, and radical, unapologetic self-expression. So today's episode is for my queens who are starting to feel a little disconnected between who are they coming and what's still remaining in your closet. Because your wardrobe is kind of neutral, right? It's not vibrating at a the frequency, right? The frequency that is either matching your next level self or keeping you anchored in an outdated identity. So let's unpack, shall we? So your current style says about your beliefs, emotions, and energetic state. So how can you identify where you're dressing from scarcity or expansion, and how to begin curating a wardrobe that speaks to your soul, right? In every room you walk into. So let's shift how you get dressed for the rest of your fucking life, shall we? Let's do it. Okay. So let's just say this out loud. Join me. My closet is a manifestation tool. Period. The textures you wear, the silhouettes you choose, the colors that feel safe to you, the things you won't wear because they're too much or too sexy or not practical. All of the ways, all of them say something, right? And not just to the outside world, but to you. So when you look in the mirror, your subconscious is clocking away signal you're sending, right? And the question is, are you dressing from the version of you that's expanding into her desires? Or the version of you that's afraid to be seen. Ouch. Here's the thing: so many of us inherited style trauma. Mothers who told us to cover up, partners who made us feel like we had to tone it down, workplaces that changed expressive, feminine or sexy fashion. I experienced that at Tiffany Co. Another story. Um, whole systems that punish women for being both powerful and desirable. So we start shrinking, minimizing, wearing what works, what's normal, what's accepted, choosing things that feel safe, but not sacred. So what do we end up doing? We mute the colors we wear, we repeat outfits that just numb and bore us to death. We don't even realize we're dressing like our past selves. And I want to say this with love, hun. If you're dressing from guilt, fear, shame, or old conditioning, you are reinforcing those frequencies in your field every single day. So breaking this down, style is a language, hun. I like to call this another love language, right? Because they say there's, I don't even know how many. Is it five or six love languages? Let's add this one to the list as well. And here's what yours might be saying now about you. One, burnt out energy. So if your go-to is leggings, oversized hoodies, and zero accessories, it's not that you're lazy, hun. It's that your nervous system is in survival mode. You're dressing to disappear, to get by, to avoid being noticed or desired. Style translation: I don't have the capacity to be seen right now. Frequency, exhaustion, emotional numbness, low desire. And let's take this back just real quick. And what do I mean by frequency? The frequency that you're sending out to the universe is that you're too exhausted, right? Your emotional numbness and the low desire for things. So you're putting that out into the world, and so therefore, the universe is bringing that same energy back to you two times, if not more. So you then you get stuck right in this rut. I've been there, I have moments of it. Yesterday I just went through that. Um I so you guys don't know this, but I'm actually my boyfriend and I are gonna go to this really fun masquerade ball, and I've been trying to make my own outfit, my own dress and gown. And I thought I'd go this simple route of making these corsets and you know, buying a corset and then putting it on this, you know, making the skirts, and it just started becoming really meh. Like the concept is there, it's just meh, right? And then the corset that I bought didn't fit, um, like the the upper torso bust area, like it was too big, so I couldn't get it to fit me snugly in the boobs, but then the cups of the boobs, and I hate this, were too small to the point where they were literally cutting me off, like at the areola, like, okay, what's going on? I'm like, dude, like I was just getting really depressed. So then I tried to start making my own top, but then as I'm trying it on to double check that I have enough fabric, I'm like, oh, so I just started going down this rabbit hole of like, this is not gonna work, this is not good, I'm just not gonna go. You know what I mean? And I caught myself doing that. I was crying, I just ended up not eating, right? Because I'm sitting here thinking, oh my god, I'm too fat. Like, I went down that hole and I'm like, I don't want to stay there. Right. So today to counter this because iconic Katie is just gonna go shopping and find something, whether it's a dress, whether it's a corset, and just try shit on. Um, sorry, that's a total rant. Off not quite off topic, but kind of, right? Because again, yesterday I was putting this energy out. And so even though I come up with these other ideas and I'm like, okay, cool, this could work. And then it was like, oh no. And then I just I just got stuck in that negative depressive frequency. Um, okay, so back to the actual topic, people pleasing energy, right? You pick outfits based on what your partner, your family, or social norms say is air quotes appropriate, right? So you're hiding your cleavage, you know, you're you're putting, you know, you're you're basically not wearing anything with a slit, a high slit in the legs, you're holding, you're avoiding bold choices, colors, uh, shapes, textures, um cuts, all jewelry, shoes, right? You're just second-guessing anything and everything that might be too sensual, that might be too form-fitting, um, style translation, right? It's safer to blend in. And it's true. It is. It fucking is. We know that. And the frequency we're sending out into the universe is guilt, disconnection, self-betrayal. So, what comes back to that to make us fall deeper into that rabbit hole of bullshit? Yeah, we need to stop that. There's another one, too. It's aspiration energy. So you love expressive fashion, but it lives in your uh someday cart or buried at the back of your closet, right? So you're waiting for the air quote right moment to wear said dress, the harness, the fucking headdress for Christ's sake, right? Style translation. I'm not ready to take up that space yet, but someday I will. So the universe frequency, insecurity, and delayed expansion. Ooh. Yeah. Here's the truth, babe. Your future self is already here, and she's waiting for you to dress like her to fucking live that life she's living. She's expecting. So the moment you start embodying that energy, your external world shifts to meet you. So let's talk about what it looks like to shift out of those outdated frequencies and into your next level energy using nothing but your own damn wardrobe. So we need to one step one, reconnect with your desire identity. So ask yourself, what is the vibe of the woman I'm becoming? You might even want to write this down in notebooks. Let's be real. Okay, what does her aura feel like when she walks into a room? How does she use style to magnetize, to declare herself, to feel divine? Right? She's not dressing for likes, she's not dressing for logic. She's dressing for alignment. Right? Write her style mood board, right? Use Pinterest. I love Pinterest. You know, start scrolling through Pinterest, or even if you have a board of like outfits that you love or fashionistas influencers that you love following, right? And outfits that really go, ooh, it's kind of like a little turn on, right? Where you're like, oh, I love that. And before your conscious says but and says whatever fucking excuse it wants to, put it in a new board. I call mine iconic me, and start putting them in there, and then eventually, if you get enough things, you can then actually do separate folders inside that board, which is awesome. Freaking love it. But this is a great way to visualize it. And what I've also done on top of that, which I got from a friend of mine, is that I went into Canva and I took a lot of those photos. So it's not just things that I want to wear, but places that I want to travel to, things that I want to do, classes I often want to take, and I created a collage that I actually then saved, and I have it as the um the wall paper or whatever it's called these days on my phone. So it's not the lock screen, it's the home screen. And so now I get to see it and visualize like, okay, this is the life that I want. This is the life that I'm going towards, you know what I mean? And it's just it's a constant fucking reminder. So that is so the first step for that is that you know, do Pinterest, right? And then my second one to really push you into really moving forward and being consistent is to then to create that collage and put it on your phone. Because I really want you to visualize this self and really just feel it in your bones, okay. Step two, purge for frequency mismatch. So we're gonna take out the items that reflect the old you. So the ones that make you feel invisible, the ones you keep oh, just in case you need to shrink. We all have those, bitch. The ones tied to a relationship, past relationship, even, a job, a life path you've outgrown and left. You don't need to burn them, unless, of course, that feels juicy. But put them in a box, remove them from your frequency field, and honestly, donate them. That's what I do with mine. I literally had multiple boxes that I just donated. Um, because keeping the rounds is like telling the universe, I'm still available for that version of me. Whereas, honey, if you want change at all, you need to completely remove them. Like I said, take them to get donated. Like, sure, you could try and sell them on Poshmark, you know, whatnot. Um, but it keeps it in here, you know, it keeps it in your closet, it keeps it in your vibe, and you know, you're not here for it, you're not taking that, right? If you need to make changes in your life, you need to take the steps, and sometimes um big ones in order to get out of that negative vibes, okay? The step three, infuse power pieces. So this isn't about a full wardrobe overhaul, right? It's about more like staples, okay? So I want you to ask, what one piece can I wear this week that aligns with my next level? Right? Look at your fucking closet. Like, do you have a silk robe instead of that pilled cardigan? Do you have a bold lipstick on a no makeup day? What about that statement necklace you keep saving for a special occasion? Hello, bitch, you are the occasion. So these little shifts recalibrate your nervous system and they awaken your turn on, okay? And they pull you into your future self. Because style is actually not shallow. Did you know this? Right? It's actually soul work. And every time you get dressed, you're saying, This is who I am, this is what I deserve, and this is what I allow in my life. So next time you stand in front of your closet, ask yourself, am I dressing from the frequency I want to escape? Or the one I'm ready to embody? Right? If you want to get clearer on your magnetic, sensual, next level self, really, is honestly take my tempter's archetype quiz, right? It's juicy, it's potent, it'll reveal exactly what flavor of feminine magic you're here to express. Right? So, and I'll I have that in the bio. I'll try and remember to put it in the um in the description of the episode. Um, but pick your archetype, right? Own your seduction and rewire your frequency. So if this episode turned you on, lit you up or stirred something sacred, screenshot and tag me, right, at Katie Rain. Or share with your favorite femme. Honestly, leave a review and keep me keep spreading this lubricated gospel far and wide. Until next time, babe, wear the damn fucking dress. Live life lubricated.
