Hi there, my friends. It's me, Karli. Welcome back to another episode of FLIPSIDE OF MIDLIFE, where I am talking about ease. Hopefully you received my email this week, which gave you three ways you can create ease in two minutes or less, even when you're in the midst of chaos. And here in this episode, I'm expanding on that by giving you three more ways you can quickly find ease when you want to. I'm trying to keep these episodes short, so here are three more ways that you can find ease very quickly. The first is to do some gentle movement, whether it is stretching, simply standing and rolling your shoulders. You can swing your arms, twist your body. You can raise your arms up. You can find a spot down on the floor and stretch from the tips of your fingers over your head to your pointed toes. Maybe you head outside for a walk or just up and down a set of stairs in your office area. Gentle movement, my friend, is a really great way to create ease in your body. Another way that you can tap into ease when you are no longer there is to take a quiet pause before you move into your next thing or your next space. So maybe walking into a meeting- rather than just going on in with that sense of unease , you can pause, take a few breaths, get reset, and then step into the meeting. Before you start a new task, if you're feeling stressed or tense about something you've been working on, go ahead, get up and take a quiet pause before you dive into that next step or the next task. A third thing you can do is take your hands and place them over your heart. Close your eyes and allow yourself to feel that warmth from your body to your hand . Feel the pressure of your hand on your chest. Press gently. This point of connection, my friend, is grounding. It's a reminder that you are here for yourself. It's a calming gesture that helps bring your heart rate down, helps you relax, and can bring you back to a place of ease. So that gives you three ways to create ease from my email this week and another three ways to create ease here in this episode. I love to know your thoughts, my friend. Please reach out to me, karli@flipsideofmidlife.com. Share your thoughts about this episode, or give me your ideas for 2026. What would you like me to cover in my episodes and my guided meditations and visualizations? Thank you again for joining me here today, my friend. Take care, be well, and I'll be back soon.
