It's me, Karli, your favorite Gen X dealer of positive vibes, Life and Wellness Coach, and founder of FLIPSIDE OF MIDLIFE®, a community for women in midlife and beyond. Thank you for joining me here. You possess a vast amount of life experience and wisdom. These are gifts that make you who you are. You're not the 20-year-old version of you or the 30-year-old version of you. You're in a new and different place in midlife and beyond. Naturally, how you nurture your social well-being is different, too. This visualization helps you expand and nurture your social wellness. Let's begin. Start by finding a comfortable spot to either sit or lie down. Wiggle and fidget a bit to settle in and then close your eyes or lower your gaze if that feels better for you. Take a slow breath in through your nose and release it slowly through your mouth. Let's do that again. Inhale deeply. And exhale slowly. Allow your shoulders to soften. Let your jaw unclench, and the muscles around your eyes relax. And now ease into your natural rhythm of breathing. Picture yourself in a space that fills you with peaceful vibes. Tune into each of your senses in this place. Know this is a place where you are safe, where you can let go of old beliefs and experiences around female friendships and where you see new possibilities instead. Take a deep breath of possibility in, hold at the top, and exhale any resistance or doubts that you have. For the next few minutes, you are willing to notice what may be. As you soak in the peaceful vibrations of your chosen space, bring your attention to your chest. Go ahead and place one or both hands over your heart and visualize the energy that lives here. Feel the warmth created by this place of compassion, empathy, and deep emotional connection. Now see that warm energy coming out from between your fingers, moving through you, and emanating from you. It grows stronger. And brighter. Extending far beyond you. This kind, compassionate, beautiful energy is your light that attracts acquaintances, friends, and close friends. Feel how good it feels to notice this energy, to feel it expanding beyond you. To know that as it extends from you, it fosters your social well-being. Feel free to drop your hands, and now visualize that energy, that light forming paths around you. So many different paths. These are paths that lead to the possibilities of friendship. As the heart energy of other women attracts you, and yours attracts them. These paths are how you find one another. These paths are formed for travelers moving in both directions - to and from. They represent the reciprocal nature of social wellness. As you allow your heart energy to expand beyond you, it will connect with that of other women doing the same. Traveling these paths is part of the process. With each step, you feel more open, curious, and willing to form meaningful connections in this season of life. Feel that positive energy in your body. This is an energy of ease. It is not forced. It is not needy. It stems from an inner knowing that you are compassionate, kind, and capable of sharing and receiving in many different forms and layers of social connection. Now imagine yourself on one of the paths, when you see a woman ahead. She has a beautiful light emanating from her. How do you approach her? What do you say? This is an easy interaction. Nothing is forced. How does she respond? Take the next minute to imagine more about your interaction. How are you feeling now? Reflect here for a moment. As we near the end of this visualization, take one more minute to imagine what expanding your social wellness over the next week might look like. Allow your heart energy to continue glowing as you do. Take a deep breath in, hold at the top, and exhale through your mouth. Start to bring your awareness back to the space you're in. Feel the surface beneath you, gently wiggle your fingers and toes. When you're ready, flutter open your eyes. This energy lives in you, my friend. It allows you to attract social connections. Your awareness helps you notice the energy of others, too. Not all will be a match, but your willingness to notice and be curious about the possibilities that appear will help you expand your social wellness. Thanks again for joining me here today.
