Foreign. Good morning, I'm Bridget.
>> Wendy:And I'm Wendy.
>> Bridget:This is Flickin Beans.
>> Wendy:Yummy coffee this morning.
>> Bridget:Thank you. The secret was to get small. Now we can taste the coffee.
>> Wendy:Yeah. Seven Brew. Work on your portions. We had a little family thing with Joel's side of the family yesterday. His sister and brother in law just moved back to the state.
>> Bridget:Nice.
>> Wendy:So they bought a little acreage and it's super cute and there's like so excited telling us all their plans and everything. But my niece was there and she was telling me about how much she loves 7 brew. She's like, have you been there?
>> Bridget:Oh, my God.
>> Wendy:Oh, yes, girl, we have been there.
>> Bridget:Oh, my God. Does she know about the podcast?
>> Wendy:Yes, but I don't know if she's listened to it or not. She's still young.
>> Bridget:Yeah. It's maybe not appropriate for children.
>> Wendy:Yeah, she's 15, so, you know.
>> Bridget:Oh, she'd love it.
>> Wendy:She's like an innocent 15, though.
>> Bridget:I feel like that's cute.
>> Wendy:Yeah, but we were. She. She says the BL blood orange flavor is her favorite and that we should try in coffee. No, it's like the energy drinker. Yeah. Yeah.
>> Bridget:Oh, yeah. But I always get the Pixie stick.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:The salivation.
>> Wendy:Yes. That one's too cherry for me.
>> Bridget:So good. Yeah.
>> Wendy:Anyway, okay, so what else is new?
>> Bridget:I got hit on this morning.
>> Wendy:Oh.
>> Bridget:By a scraggly old black man.
>> Wendy:Oh, nice. Yeah, it's a little pick me up, I guess.
>> Bridget:Yeah, I don't.
>> Wendy:I don't get hit on that often anymore.
>> Bridget:So when it happens, he was under my. He was approaching my deck.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:I'm on the second floor. It was like Romeo and Juliet situation.
>> Wendy:Are they also on the same floor?
>> Bridget:No, they're on the bottom.
>> Wendy:Oh, okay.
>> Bridget:In another building. So he's crossing the line. I was just like, dude, wow.
>> Wendy:Okay.
>> Bridget:I flat out told him I have no time for men. And he was like, well, who's that guy that was there? I was like, that's my friend. Just a friend. Goodness.
>> Wendy:Why are you watching me? Close enough to know that there was a guy here. That's awkward.
>> Bridget:Exactly. Exactly. And he's not even the guy that lives there. It's his brother visiting.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:From Minnesota. I do. I know a lot about him now.
>> Wendy:Yeah. He told you.
>> Bridget:He was talking me up, man. Didn't ask me any questions other than,
>> Wendy:hey, lady, you must have made an impression. Do you have a pool at your apartment?
>> Bridget:Yeah, I do.
>> Wendy:We should do that sometime.
>> Bridget:Well, today is a good day. It's Gonna be a hundred.
>> Wendy:Yeah. Well, I have to go play music
>> Bridget:in it for a little animal.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Oof. No. I really feel bad for you.
>> Wendy:Yeah, well, we'll see. It's not like I haven't done it before. Yeah, we've had some hot gigs with the band and you just get real sweaty and you get some blisters.
>> Bridget:You're always in the sun, too.
>> Wendy:Well, they brought the pop up. It's one to three, so sun should be pretty straight from the sky.
>> Bridget:Yeah, pop ups are dumb because you almost have to, like, not stand under it sometimes just to get the shade awkward.
>> Wendy:It's true. It's true. And I brought a couple fans this time. That'll be good. But. Yeah, it'll be hot, but it'll be fun. I'm looking forward to it.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:So it's a little mini Dreams Ranch shout out to you. My friend Lacy, she runs this hobby farm and has. It's like a side business. And she's got all these miniature animals.
>> Bridget:God d*** it.
>> Wendy:And she's got a couple baby Highland cows right now. She just got.
>> Bridget:Yeah. Oh, my God.
>> Wendy:But, yeah, I sang for her donkeys and they loved it.
>> Bridget:Did they?
>> Wendy:They did.
>> Bridget:I love those videos where the animals come close. I saw a guy playing music for Rhino.
>> Wendy:He was the inspiration for me wanting to go and play out in the field with the donkeys because he's played for everything.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:And I'm considering, like, I should pitch this to, like, Blake Park Zoo or something and see if they let me sit closer to an anim.
>> Bridget:Absolutely.
>> Wendy:Whatever. The donkeys loved it. And at one point, she has a horse too. And at one point, the horse got really close. I was playing and I was like. It kind of messed me up because I was so excited that she was checking me out.
>> Bridget:I don't think the horse would know if you messed up.
>> Wendy:No, I think she was okay with it. She just wanted to know what was going on.
>> Bridget:Isn't that interesting?
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Music is universal.
>> Wendy:It's true. This might be my own imagination because I wanted it to be true, but I feel like the donkeys were kind of nodding their head in rhythm.
>> Bridget:I believe it. I believe it.
>> Wendy:You're like, okay, so, yeah, I'm obsessed with donkeys now.
>> Bridget:Huh?
>> Wendy:They're so smart and so cute and sweet.
>> Bridget:Oh, my gosh. Awesome.
>> Wendy:Crafty.
>> Bridget:So, yeah. All right. Okay.
>> Wendy:So should we. Her movie this week, strictly ballroom 1992. Currently streaming on prime and Roku Channel.
>> Bridget:Basically Dirty Dancing, but without the abortion.
>> Wendy:Yes. I love that description. That's very true. It's Australian rather than American. But it's a very similar story of teaching a beginner ballroom dancing in a competition environment.
>> Bridget:Some things that I noticed. Confidence makes you prettier. Glasses make you unattractive. And I thought a Barbie movie. Oh, my God. And also your hair will be less frizzy.
>> Wendy:Yeah. If you put that amount of gel.
>> Bridget:Right.
>> Wendy:The gel and the hair and the bangs. There's something about Mary.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:That's how I would describe them. Except with glitter.
>> Bridget:Yes.
>> Wendy:Just straight up off their head.
>> Bridget:Oh, is that a hair gel?
>> Wendy:I actually loved that and I want to do it.
>> Bridget:I think you should. I would wonder how to get it to stay like that.
>> Wendy:Elmer's Glue.
>> Bridget:Oh, God.
>> Wendy:That's how at least the punks back in the 90s.
>> Bridget:Oh, yeah.
>> Wendy:That's how they kept their Mohawk locks up.
>> Bridget:Goodness. Elmer's Glue had to sleep on their side.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Better in being a geisha, I guess. And have to sleep on a piece of wood. Yeah. Yeah. You get prettier when you fall in love.
>> Wendy:Sure.
>> Bridget:It's called Strictly Ballroom because it is a ballroom dance competition. And if anybody's ever seen a ballroom dance competition, the outfits are outrageous and there's usually a lot of skin. Did you ever see the one with the children?
>> Wendy:I have seen ballroom dancing. Like little clips. Yeah. It's like pageantry. But they're dancing because they're dressed up like adults, like.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:Beauty pageants.
>> Bridget:Yeah. So Scott, his mom and dad run a dance studio. They're way into it because they used to compete. They want him to win.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:The Pan Pacifics.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:But he wants to do his own steps.
>> Wendy:Yes.
>> Bridget:And you don't do that in ballroom dancing.
>> Wendy:No. So he has to go have some prickly ballroom. You have to go have some footloose moments.
>> Bridget:Yes, yes, Me too. I said that same thing.
>> Wendy:He's just dancing around warehouse spaces.
>> Bridget:Yeah. And the end of his dance when Fran comes up behind him, just. It's great because he sort of humps the mirror.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:He was like, what is going on?
>> Wendy:Doing a lot of body rolls. I think he does the worm a couple times. Which is definitely not a ballroom move.
>> Bridget:No.
>> Wendy:And he makes his partner angry because he does it in a competition.
>> Bridget:Well, yes, because in ballroom dance you're supposed to show off the woman. You know, she's supposed to be the star. If you're sitting there doing your own steps, that makes you the star.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:So poor Fran, she's frizzy and ugly and wearing glasses and the longest, baggiest pink T shirt I've ever seen.
>> Wendy:Yeah. Fran is, by the way, an employee of the dance studio. She cleans. She's the janitor, basically. So. And she has glasses, which makes her ugly, I guess.
>> Bridget:Exactly. Doesn't it? Yes.
>> Wendy:And acne.
>> Bridget:So she wants to dance with him. Yeah, she wants him to do his own step. Here's the thing for me, she's putting herself in a position where she is. It's very codependent where she's like, I want you to fulfill your dreams. But he's got the power.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:She's a beginner and it's his dream.
>> Wendy:Really?
>> Bridget:It's his dream. That's where I'm like, girl, girl. I mean, it wasn't put out there that her dream was ever to win the Pan Pacifics, right? Not at all.
>> Wendy:She just wanted to dance. And we find out later, which I think is kind of weird that they don't reveal it till later. But her family are all good dancers and she actually is a good dancer if it's the Paso dablo passo doble.
>> Bridget:Okay. So they do the whole Dirty Dancing thing where you know, it's montage of them practicing and getting better and pretty soon she's wearing more tight clothing.
>> Wendy:Yeah. And makeup. And she loses her glasses.
>> Bridget:No, he takes them off of her. He's like, can you dance without these? Takes them off of her, sets them like on the railing and they walk off.
>> Wendy:I'm like, dude, she never wears them again.
>> Bridget:So she's molding herself into what he wants her to be. You know, she definitely has a crush on him from the get go because he's a good looking kid.
>> Wendy:Yeah. He actually can dance. Unlike all the people in Xanadu.
>> Bridget:Oh my God.
>> Wendy:Just because that was the last one that we watched. I was like, well, at least these people can dance.
>> Bridget:Yes. It's praised for its dancing. It's good dancing.
>> Wendy:Yeah, the dancing is very good.
>> Bridget:Yeah. It's way better than Save the Last Dance. Come on. Way better.
>> Wendy:That came up in the podcast that I did. Yeah. Because she asked like, is there anything that you've gone back and watched that just is completely different? And I'm like, yeah, save the Last Dance. Like I thought I loved that movie so much. And then we watched it again and I was like, what the h***?
>> Bridget:Yes. Why? Well, and this is my. I watched it a few times, but not for many, many, many years. Yeah. I have a completely different opinion because I don't like that dynamic.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:But other People might find it cute and, you know, be really into it. Yeah, well, I thought it was, you know, as she blossoms.
>> Wendy:Well, you see it more through a feminist lens. Now in 1992, this was a very common trope. Particularly like we make a joke about it, but particularly the glasses.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:Like there was lots of movies where the girl just took off her glasses and suddenly she was hot.
>> Bridget:Right.
>> Wendy:Like what you couldn't see behind the clear glass that she was hot.
>> Bridget:God.
>> Wendy:So that's just funny. It's funny now, but it was a real thing. That happened a lot, I think too. It's 1992, but it feels very 80s.
>> Bridget:It does.
>> Wendy:But I think that, you know, things don't automatically change at 1990. The colors and the makeup, which. It's ballroom too, so it's very over the top. But the mom has that bright pink eyeshadow and the really, really bright, bright blush.
>> Bridget:Yeah, the makeup is great. You just made me think of Working Girl, though. I don't know. I just, in my head I was like, 80s, bad hair.
>> Wendy:We should do that. Have we done that one?
>> Bridget:Yeah, Working Girl.
>> Wendy:We did.
>> Bridget:yeah. Remember because she had to take the ferry back and for.
>> Wendy:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Bridget:The disparity between the. Well, oh, yeah, we got way into that.
>> Wendy:Oh, that's a good movie though. Yeah, I like it. But yeah, the, the shoulder pads and the makeup in that one are intense.
>> Bridget:That's what I wanted to look like when I grew up, a businesswoman. We need to do Romeo, Michelle.
>> Wendy:Yeah, yeah, we should. Especially like, since the next one is coming out.
>> Bridget:Do you have a businesswoman style special? What kind of business? You ladies in Two cheeseburgers and fries.
>> Wendy:I invented Post its.
>> Bridget:Yes. Goodness. Okay, so the other thing that we realize a little later in the movie that her family's really good dancers.
>> Wendy:I assume they're from Spain. Just.
>> Bridget:Yes. So they have completely different dance traditions. And he tries to show off and dance the paso in front of them and he's laughed at. Dad puts him in his place and wow, he did have like real dance passion. Yeah, yeah.
>> Wendy:Even grandma got in there. You don't feel it. And so she teaches him to like feel the rhythm from his chest instead
>> Bridget:of his feet by pounding him on the chest and the solar plexus. Slap, slap, slap, slap, slap.
>> Wendy:Maybe she was just flirting.
>> Bridget:Maybe. The thing about that scene that was so funny to me is that dad was already dressed for dancing.
>> Wendy:He had the, the vest that you would wear while you're fighting a bull or doing the positive.
>> Bridget:I Did see a fun fact. I was looking to find out where that group originated. And, you know, I guess we don't know, but Australia might be just as much a melting pot as our country.
>> Wendy:I think it's really similar.
>> Bridget:Yeah, it's.
>> Wendy:You know, it was an English settlement, but they have a lot of Asian migrants and. Yeah, I would assume from other places, too, which is.
>> Bridget:I don't know why, but in my head, I was like, that country is full of one kind of person. Yeah, they're all Australian. You know, like Sweden. Everyone is blonde.
>> Wendy:Yeah, of course. Until.
>> Bridget:Exactly. Okay. My little bit of trivia is we see that her folks run, like, a little store, and they're all dancing on this patio next to it. And I assume they live, you know, probably above the store. Extended family and everything. That set was the most expensive set for the whole movie. Which makes sense because we didn't ever saw his house. Yeah, but this is a whole. A whole store. And they hired a train to pass by twice. Like, they paid for the train.
>> Wendy:Nice.
>> Bridget:And at one point, a health inspector came by.
>> Wendy:Oh, yeah.
>> Bridget:And didn't realize it wasn't for real. Like, okay,
>> Wendy:what? They put it on his list. Like, what the heck?
>> Bridget:I have no idea. Maybe he was just walking down the street.
>> Wendy:He's like, this needs investigated.
>> Bridget:He's just like a freelance health inspector. Anyway, I thought that was cute.
>> Wendy:Yeah. I really kept thinking about the scene where they're dancing on the rooftop in front of the Coca Cola.
>> Bridget:Oh, yeah.
>> Wendy:I was like, this is. So this is a movie trope. Because what rooftop from somebody that's not rich is that big and has a big billboard. And has a billboard and all. But yet they're also, like, hanging their clothes out in front of the billboard. I'm like, that. That location doesn't exist.
>> Bridget:No. It's funny, though.
>> Wendy:It's beautiful, though. It's just like when they always go and they sit on the Hollywood sign.
>> Bridget:Right.
>> Wendy:Like, you can't get there.
>> Bridget:Have you ever, ever been on a rooftop?
>> Wendy:Yes.
>> Bridget:I don't think I have.
>> Wendy:But I wasn't dancing.
>> Bridget:I don't think I have. Oh, my gosh.
>> Wendy:Not a lot of times. Less than five times.
>> Bridget:I don't understand how they went from all that rumba practice. And then we're going to do this other dance. Oh, and there also is the huge misunderstanding where the boy has to chase after the girl and explain change her mind. Thank goodness she brought the dress. Or her grandmother did.
>> Wendy:Yeah, she should have already had the dress because she didn't know till she got there that well.
>> Bridget:Yeah. Because she was in that sort of drab floral dress.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:I'm sure there was a changing. It's too much. It's too much.
>> Wendy:They absolutely have to have a changing room to get ready for this.
>> Bridget:One thing that I wrote was I would jiggle way too much to dance in a bikini. I try not to even walk. Woo hoo. Coffee break. Let's talk about our beans.
>> Wendy:Are you enjoying flickin beans? Don't keep it to yourself. Spill the beans. Movies are better shared and so is coffee. Can you drop our pod into a friend's inbox? A group chat. Or just tell that cashier at your coffee shop that you love our podcast. A little worth of mouth goes a long way. Let's spill the beans. Thank you, bean flickers. Love you. Bye. They're full. Like in tights. Like head to toe, basically.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:So it holds it all in.
>> Bridget:Yeah. Need some spanx on the belly.
>> Wendy:If you're a drag queen, you just wear like multiple pairs of tights.
>> Bridget:Oh yeah.
>> Wendy:Then you don't have to shave your legs either.
>> Bridget:Ye. And you probably don't have to tuck. Yeah.
>> Wendy:If you have lots and lots of tights. Yeah. Which sounds terrible. Wearing more than one pair of tights.
>> Bridget:I don't know how drag queens go to the bathroom once they're ready.
>> Wendy:It's ordeal, I'm sure.
>> Bridget:Oh man. Maybe they wear Depends under there.
>> Wendy:That's really why they have to wear multiple pairs of tights. The inside one is just absorbent.
>> Bridget:Gross. Speaking of tucking, there's a show I was watching on tubi.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Called like Hitler's sex life.
>> Wendy:Okay.
>> Bridget:Did you know Hitler only had one testicle?
>> Wendy:I did not.
>> Bridget:And a leaky p****.
>> Wendy:This all makes sense. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Bridget:Oh, and he did like to be peed on. That's so weird. It was so interesting.
>> Wendy:Yeah. I pretty much assume that any guy like that has some kind of p**** problem.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:He either thinks it's too small or doesn't work on him.
>> Bridget:Leaky.
>> Wendy:That's why. Leaky.
>> Bridget:That was a terrible digression. But I had to tell you about the testicle.
>> Wendy:That's fair.
>> Bridget:The testicle. So obviously they dance dances his own steps.
>> Wendy:I liked the cheesiness that they took it like an extra step. It. It was almost kind of cabaret or. I don't know if that's the right word. It was exaggerated. Just the dialogue and things like that. And I liked I've got my happy face on today. The mom kept saying that. Speaking of Trying to put on a happy face in front of people.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:She was having a rough time with so many things, but people. She just kept saying, I've got my happy face on today. And eventually she cracks.
>> Bridget:Do you know, like, three or four of those people were in Muriel's Wedding?
>> Wendy:No, but this reminded me of that. Yeah.
>> Bridget:Well, okay, so Tina Spockle was the one that her husband, Chook Chook Chuck cheated on.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:At the wedding. Barry Fife was Muriel's dad in Muriel's Wedding. Anyway, so they must be, you know, popular Australian actors and actresses. Oh, wait, that was sexist actors.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Okay. You know, the Australian movies feel, like, weirdly over the top and stuff.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Because we're used to American films. I was like, this f****** needs to be remade as an American film. And I was thinking, dad could be played by Steve Buscemi. We could have Will Ferrell in there. We could have Amy Poehler. We could have Anna Gasteyer. I mean, I'm thinking a lot of the snl, but I'm like, s***, what if I think the people who should remake it are the ones that did Best in Show? Yeah, that would be so amazing. Parker Posey would be in it then.
>> Wendy:Definitely.
>> Bridget:Yes.
>> Wendy:Yeah. Parker Posey would play a good straight ballroom person.
>> Bridget:Oh, God.
>> Wendy:The one that's, like, trying to play by all the rules and. Yeah, she would be good for that. Yeah. There is an element, especially in the beginning, where it is kind of a mockumentary. So. Yeah, I thought similar. Like, it's like a Best In Joe or a Spinal Tap in that way.
>> Bridget:Because our movies can be over the top, but it just. It lands differently.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:It was like the movie Three Men and a Baby.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:That was originally a French movie.
>> Wendy:Okay.
>> Bridget:Right.
>> Wendy:Yeah, I think you said that. Yeah.
>> Bridget:And it's not that funny because the French are so reserved, and I'm sure that they're cracking up.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:And I was just kind of like. It just didn't. I can't relate. But I can relate because I did enjoy it. But no, Steve Guttenberg was a big deal at one point. Anyway, I digress a lot today. Sorry. That's okay. Feeling chatty.
>> Wendy:It's all right. That's why we're here.
>> Bridget:Right, Exactly.
>> Wendy:So I. I just have in my notes, I love Doug. That's it. Doug is the dad.
>> Bridget:Oh, God. Yeah.
>> Wendy:And until. Throughout the film, until you find out later that he was also a dancer, he's just, like, stealing little secret moments to dance. And I thought that was so adorable. It's like, oh, little Doug is awesome.
>> Bridget:What about the flashback when. I mean, that. That's vaudeville.
>> Wendy:Yeah, that's definitely flashback.
>> Bridget:And he pops his head out of the curtain and he's got all this crazy makeup on.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Like the lipstick.
>> Wendy:He looks like a clown.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:But it's obviously for stage. But no, it was ridiculous.
>> Wendy:But he wanted to do his own moves, too.
>> Bridget:Exactly.
>> Wendy:So then finally, eventually, him and Scott connect on that, and he's like, you should just do it. I regret not doing it. It's kind of weird that they had a picture of his mom and dad in the studio and Scott think that the guy is not his dad.
>> Bridget:Right.
>> Wendy:And you're like, you don't know what your dad looks like.
>> Bridget:Well, it was him from the back, and he just. Because mom switched partners because she wasn't going to dance with him.
>> Wendy:Right.
>> Bridget:If he's going to do his own moves. But that. What? Yeah, that was a picture of them.
>> Wendy:So he. Scott, believed all this time that it was a different partner. All these stories that his mom was telling, but really it was his dad, which is kind of weird that they would. I don't know if Scott just assumed all of that or if they made it.
>> Bridget:I think he just assumed.
>> Wendy:Made him believe that it was something else.
>> Bridget:Yeah. Triumphant ending. Like Dirty Dancing with the lift almost. You know? Is that feeling.
>> Wendy:Yeah. Another very unrealistic ending where they let them dance even though they didn't come in on time, and they just, like, interrupt everybody with their music.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:Pull the cord and all that stuff.
>> Bridget:Yes. Pulled the cord, but kept going.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:And that's another trope. I'm thinking Napoleon Dynamite. He just kept on doing his dance, and the music kicks back in. So the music always kicks back in. What's the other one we watched with the little girls? Girls. They were like Girl Scouts, but they were misfits.
>> Wendy:Oh, Troop Zero.
>> Bridget:Yes. And the same thing happened. And then she wet her pants.
>> Wendy:Oh, nobody wet their pants this time, at least.
>> Bridget:Oh, no.
>> Wendy:Or they were wearing that diaper we were talking about.
>> Bridget:Exactly. Too many pairs of tights. Goodness. Oh, and the song Time After Time was in it.
>> Wendy:Yeah, a lot.
>> Bridget:I f****** said we need to do all the movies with Time After Time. Speaking again of Romy and Michelle.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:I don't know what it is about that song, but so many movies use
>> Bridget:it, and it's so old, it's just forever sung.
>> Wendy:I think it was time after time that I heard this about Miles Davis, that famous trumpet player. Yeah. He loves that song, too. It's like one of his favorite songs, and he said it publicly.
>> Bridget:Nice.
>> Wendy:Because he loves the melody, which is beautiful. It's a beautiful song. And I think the message works in a lot of ways, but they do it a different version of it. It's not the Cyndi Lauper one that has been popular, but.
>> Bridget:Yeah. It's a cover of.
>> Wendy:They had to Australianize it, I guess. I don't know.
>> Bridget:Okay.
>> Wendy:But it's a reoccurring thing. That's what they're dancing to when they're practicing almost every time.
>> Bridget:Yeah. It's time after time, but they're dancing the rumba. Right. So funny.
>> Wendy:Ye.
>> Bridget:Yeah. That's all I was going to say. Speaking of the show, I don't know
>> Wendy:how we would ever. Could we ever find all of them. There's so many.
>> Bridget:When I googled it, maybe, like, five came up. But then it mentions, you know, it's in other movies probably.
>> Wendy:Oh, yeah. It's also in My Name is Earl.
>> Bridget:Oh, really?
>> Wendy:I think so. I think that's the song that the brother keeps playing.
>> Bridget:It is so weird that you brought up. Up. My name is Earl.
>> Wendy:Yeah.
>> Bridget:Because that guy that was chatting me up this morning gestures back to the apartment and he's like, my brother's name is Earl, Wendy. Isn't that weird?
>> Wendy:That is weird. And this is my other brother, Earl.
>> Bridget:And I haven't thought of my name as Earl until that moment this morning.
>> Wendy:I was like, that's a good show.
>> Bridget:Yeah, it is. Okay.
>> Wendy:Anything else I would say, recommending it or not? I would recommend it. I kind of.
>> Bridget:I recommend it. I just. Yeah.
>> Wendy:I would kind of want to watch it again.
>> Bridget:Yeah.
>> Wendy:It could be a reoccurring one, I think.
>> Bridget:And the reason it seems like a mockumentary is just all the overdone makeup and all that stuff. And there is a lot of, like, side interviews where they're like confessionals.
>> Wendy:Yes.
>> Bridget:Yeah. And so that. And then you said this earlier, though, though. The rest of it is just like a rom com.
>> Wendy:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
>> Bridget:I'd recommend it.
>> Wendy:I would. Yeah. If you like Dirty Dancing, you'll like this. Yeah.
>> Bridget:If you like Australian accents, you'll like this.
>> Wendy:Yeah, they're. They're thick in this.
>> Bridget:Yes. Oh, my gosh. Well, did we do it?
>> Wendy:I think we did it. We licked some beans. Okay.
>> Bridget:Love you.
>> Wendy:Bye.
>> Bridget:Bye. Party all night long J.
