Dr. Charlotte Jacobs

Dr. Charlotte Jacobs is an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, where her work focuses on identity, race, gender, and justice centered education for adolescent girls of the global majority. She is the co founder of the EnGenderED Research Collaborative and directs the Independent School Teaching Residency program at Penn GSE. A former middle school teacher, she is the co author of Teaching Girls and Investing in the Educational Success of Black Women and Girls and serves on several boards supporting girls education globally, including the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls.
