Consistency & Patience: Trust the Process

It's easy to feel discouraged when it looks like everyone around you is moving faster, achieving more, or reaching milestones you've been praying for.

But someone else's quick win doesn't mean you're behind.

Someone else's success doesn't mean you've failed.

And someone else's harvest doesn't mean your seed isn't growing.

In this week's episode of The Striving Butterfly, we're talking about consistency, patience, trusting God's timing, and resisting the temptation to compare your journey to someone else's.

This episode includes 10 affirmations designed to help you stay focused, remain faithful, and continue showing up even when the results aren't immediate.

Scripture:

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Galatians 6:9

Refuse to measure my progress against someone else's timeline. Let's do this. Weekly affirmations. This week's episode is around consistency, patience, and trust in the process. Hi everyone, and welcome back to the Striving Butterfly. I'm Colleen, your Striving Butterfly, and I want to thank you for joining me for another week of affirmations, encouragement, and a reminder that growth takes time. This week I want to talk to you about two things many of us, me included, struggle with consistency and patience. We live in a world that celebrates quick results, overnight success, and instant gratification, but real growth rarely happens that way. The healing takes time. The rebuilding takes time. The business takes time. The relationship takes time. The goal takes time. And sometimes we become frustrated because we are showing up, putting in the effort, praying, believing, somewhat trusting, and yet the results do not seem to be arriving as quickly as we had hoped. But what if this season isn't about speed? What if it's about becoming? What if God is using the process to build something in you before he releases something to you? Consistency is not about perfection. It's about continuing. Patience is not about waiting passively. It's about trusting while you wait. So wherever you are today, I want to encourage you to keep showing up. Keep taking the next step. Keep watering what you have planted. Remember, there's four seasons in a year, and keep trusting the process. Let us begin this week's affirmations by taking a deep breath. I choose consistency over perfection. I trust that the small steps repeated daily create lasting change. I am patient with myself and my journey. I do not need immediate results to know that progress is happening. I trust God's timing even when I don't understand it. I will keep showing up for a life I am building. I release the pressure to rush my growth. I am becoming stronger, wiser, and more resilient through the process. What is meant for me will not pass me by. So don't quit because you can't see the results yet. Keep going. Your consistency is not wasted, your patience is not wasted, your efforts is not wasted. Trust the process and trust the one who is guiding you through it. So here it goes. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. That's Galatians 6 9. As we go into this week, remember, be patient with yourself, be kind to yourself, trust the process, trust God's timing, and don't underestimate the power of showing up again tomorrow, the next day. Just remember, as I tell you always, clap for yourself, celebrate yourself, love on yourself, and give yourself some grace and show yourself some love. If this episode encouraged you, don't forget to subscribe, follow, share with someone who needs a reminder, and join my growing community. And let me know in the comments what area of your life is teaching you patience right now. Until next week, keep growing, keep becoming, and keep moving forward one step at a time. This is the striver. And I'll see you next week.
