Maybe you're tired, maybe you're disappointed, maybe things haven't happened as quickly as you hope. But don't mistake a slow journey for a failed journey. Hello and welcome back to the Striving Butterfly. I'm Colleen, your Striving Butterfly. And if this is your first time here, well, welcome. This is the space for healing, encouragement, growth, faith, and simply becoming. This week's reminder is simple. Don't stop at the bridge. So many of us have prayed for change, prayed for healing, prayed for a breakthrough, prayed for an opportunity, and then when it finally arrived at the bridge that leads us to the next chapter, we freeze. We hesitate, we overthink, we look backwards, we become distracted by fear, disappointment, uncertainty, or get caught up in what happened before. But the bridge was never meant to be your destination. The bridge was designed to get you over to the other side. There is another side to your healing, another side to your grief, another side to your rebuilding, another side to your waiting, another side to your breakthrough. So this is just to encourage you to keep moving. And when you get there, don't forget to turn around and help someone else cross it too. Let's speak life over ourselves today and go through this week's affirmations. Take a deep breath in. I release the need to know every step before taking the next one. I trust that what lies ahead is greater than what I am leaving behind. I am stronger, wiser, and more resilient than I give myself credit for. I refuse to freeze in the middle of my journey. Whew, that's for me. I will continue moving forward one step, one day, one decision at a time. My breakthrough is not behind me, it's ahead of me. As I grow, heal, and overcome, I will encourage others along the way. Maybe you've been standing on the bridge for a while. You've started the journey, but you're questioning whether you should continue. Maybe hurt is caught you to freeze. Maybe you're tired, maybe you're disappointed, maybe things haven't happened as quickly as you hope. But don't mistake a slow journey for a failed journey. You are still moving, you are still growing, you are still becoming. The bridge may feel uncomfortable because it represents transition. You're no longer where you used to be, but you're not quite where you're going. That's okay. Keep trusting God in the middle of this season. Keep showing up, keep praying, keep believing, keep taking the next step. And when you reach the other side, remember the people who are standing where you once stood. Don't judge them, but encourage them, pray for them, support them. Because sometimes the greatest testimony is not just making it through, but helping someone else make it through too. Let me leave you with this scripture. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up. Galatians 6 9. Told you that one last week. If these affirmations encourage you today, don't keep them to yourself. Share this episode with someone who may be feeling stuck, discouraged, or afraid to take the next step.
