Sharing is Scaring is a hybrid scripted and conversational podcast where host, Erin, is joined by friends to cover a variety of creepy, kooky, scary, and spooky topics. Mixed in with informational discussion, and real-life experiences told or written by people just like you.
Erin is a 30-something entrepreneur with a lifelong interest in the macabre. She studied theatre and cinema at Missouri Western State University graduating with a degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in producing/directing and performance.
Talking has always been a passion of hers and combining that with the love of spooky and kooky topics and experiences was a natural step.
Jenn is a kooky fairy-goblin who was found in a hollowed-out tree stump atop piles of Dr. Pepper cans by Erin one day and she hasn't left since.
But in reality, Jenn is a soda-fueled millennial with a background in special effects make-up, cinema studies, and acting. Jenn has had an ever evolving background with the spooky world, and what was formally a love/hate relationship turned into full fledged black hearts and batty's bats love for the culture.
When the love came in full force, as did Erin with the idea of starting a spooky podcast together, and we know the rest! Nowadays, you can find Jenn haunting local cemeteries with her partner, looming near the Hollywood sign or at the local theme park eating all the pretzels in her vicinity.
