Welcome to The Badge and Beyond.

We are Danny Mikati and Anthony Macklin, and we are the creators of this YouTube channel and Podcast series, The Badge and Beyond.

As two highly experienced, skilled and ethical ex Police Officers, we now run a private investigation firm called Precision Integrity Service, based in Sydney but operating around the world in select countries. A few years ago, we became very disillusioned after spending decades in the NSW Police Force and believed we could be more effective helping people that needed our assistance by running our own operation.

We started sharing some of our old policing and surveillance stories on TikTok, purely just to get our stories out there and with a view to entertain, inform, and hopefully even improve the situation for some, and were just a little surprised at how well our short videos have been received. We have been asked repeatedly to start sharing our stories in longer form in video and a podcast, so that is how the Badge and Beyond podcast series and our YouTube channel began!

Anthony Macklin

Anthony Macklin, a former Detective Inspector with the NSW Police Force, is a highly motivated and performance-driven, versatile leader with broad operational and strategic experience.

Anthony’s law enforcement career saw him undertake roles in the Child Protection & Sex Crimes Squad investigating complex, protracted serious and serial sexual offences across the state. He worked with the Child Exploitation Internet Unit, was a member of the Public Order Group where he was deployed to the Redfern Riots in 2004. He has experience as a Bodyguard for the Prime Minister and other international dignitaries as well as leading one of the largest proactive crime teams in the state.

His role saw him appointed to the senior management team of his respective Police Command.

Danny Mikati

Danny Mikati is a former Sergeant of the NSW Police Force who served for over 17 years. Since his departure he has held titles including; CEO of Bright Employment. Chairman of the Board of Directors for Australian International Academy of Education (AIAE Ltd); founding Director of Insight Community Solutions and a Director and Head of Australian Operations at AusRelief. During his time in the NSWPF Danny worked in various fields including domestic and family violence, youth, human source management, counter-terrorism and child protection.

A decorated officer whose awards include, The Commissioners Medal of Courage, The Australian Police Medal and many others including a Commissioner’s citation for his work in the Lindt cafe siege of Sydney. In 2017 he has bestowed the Community Fellow from Western Sydney University. Danny holds a 6th Dan black belt (master) in Taekwondo and has taught self-defence to police, military and advanced students.
