Self-mastery is when we are able to control our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. We begin to developing self-discipline, self-control, transmuting unhelpful behaviours into ones that allow us to flourish.
Putting the ego-mind in the passenger seat and the conscious mind in the drivers seat.

Episode 012 ~ with Special Guest Gerda Skrickiene
In this episode we speak with Gerda about sauna's of course! Gerda Skrickiene is the founder and CEO of Saunature Spa who are on a mission to bring an authentic Baltic sauna experience to Surrey, UK. Her husband and her partner in this project did his own marathon sauna session at the Saunaverse 2023, where he went in and out of about 7 saunas in a couple of hours. Gym saunas make Gerda mad because she says they are too hot.

Gerda has lived in the UK for over 20 years, born in Lithuania where Baltic sauna bathing is a part of everyday life, but her home now is here. She is a mother of three who home schools her children. She says, “Home education is hard and I am busy, but I love it.” Gerda loves exercise and anything dance related and is in fact a dance teacher. A fitness instructor for over 12 years, however she slowly moved away from the mainstream fitness world, Gerda now runs her own creation of fun and enjoyable dance classes.

Gerda's current project, the Saunature spa is her vision and she is on a mission to bring authentic Baltic sauna bathing and treatments to local Surrey residents. She loves anything sauna, arts, music and nature.
