Self-mastery is when we are able to control our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. We begin to developing self-discipline, self-control, transmuting unhelpful behaviours into ones that allow us to flourish.
Putting the ego-mind in the passenger seat and the conscious mind in the drivers seat.

Episode 014 ~ with Special Guest Jane De Croos
In this episode we speak with Jane De Croos about "What is Self Mastery?" And "Do we really have it?" Ha ha ha... We also talk about Jane's charity supporting kids go on days out to expand their awareness, being responsible for what you say and how you use your words and her self mastery journey as a parent. Jane also shares her experience of healing from cancer and the most difficult part of this - giving up coffee!
Jane always wanted to write, to tell elaborate and far fetched stories as a child. She wanted her life to be wild and magical and crazy and one could definitely say she achieved that! Why did it take her so long? Well the drugs, alcohol and procrastination got in the way.. and underneath all that was a crippling lack of confidence she had in herself to really put her neck on the line.
Fast-forward over 30 years and suddenly (very suddenly) she turned 40 and life changed; it got easier and she stopped worrying about what everyone else would think about her wayward beliefs and horribly bad attitude and got down to write.
Jane wrote her novel. It took 4 years to write, from 2015-2019. During which her son was born in 2016, she had to flee a relationship of domestic abuse and was experiencing a furious chemo regime to squash cancer. She eventually self-published her book on Amazon, in the Summer of 2019, the day she had her last chemo session.
