The ability to master your self. That brings in a bigger question “what is the self?”, for now we will put that question to the side.
Self-mastery is when we are able to control our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. We begin to developing self-discipline, self-control, transmuting unhelpful behaviours into ones that allow us to flourish.
Putting the ego-mind in the passenger seat and the conscious mind in the drivers seat.

Sophie Nevill is a long-term psychotherapist, meditation teacher, musician and writer.
Her main work is helping her clients across the world Awaken to the infinite Peace and Silence of their Being beneath the narrative of the mind, and bring this unconditional Love ‘down’ to all parts of their humanity - so that all can start to be healed, uplifted and welcomed Home in Love.
She teaches not only enlightenment of the ‘mind’ but also enlightenment of the ‘body’.
Understanding how we can truly start to embody the Light that we are, and live our highest expression whilst in human form.
Sophie is also the founder of Heart of the Rose women’s festival - a festival to honour the Way of the Heart, the Mysteries of the Rose and the Feminine Path of Awakening. As well as Brotherhood of the Rose festival, and is also currently in the process of re-building a Mystery School and Retreat Center in South-east England.
