Self-mastery is when we are able to control our thoughts, words, emotions and actions. We begin to developing self-discipline, self-control, transmuting unhelpful behaviours into ones that allow us to flourish.
Putting the ego-mind in the passenger seat and the conscious mind in the drivers seat.

In this episode we speak with Steven Ash about love, sacred tobacco plant medicine, healing and sacred drumming of course. Steven shares with us about his birth, which he actually remembers, as well as the loss of a baby girl and the gifts that were revealed through this experience. We laugh together and I certainly am moved by Stevens words and I hope you are too.

Steven Ash was born in 1951 in Cornwall, England and grew up on Wikwemikong on Lake Huron - (an Indian), known today as First Nations, reservation in Ontario, Canada where his father was the doctor.
“I returned to Britain resumed education as a teacher and then acupuncturist. I AM
gifted as a healer and seer, I inherited these talents from my father Dr. AEM Ash, who was the first doctor to practice acupuncture in the UK in general practice. My deep connection with Mother Earth and her plant and mineral kingdom has enabled me to gain extensive insight into the healing abilities of plants and crystals. With Renata my life partner we developed the Rainbow Essences®” in 1991.
Steven and Renata were adopted as spiritual grandchildren by Wallace Black Elk, and his spirit name Tatanka Wanagi Wichasta, Buffalo Spirit Man was given to him by Ed McGaa Eagle Man.

Steven’s vision and life mission is to facilitate the return of the Rainbow Tribe as predicted by Nicholas Black Elk, and in his work and through his life he teaches and shares this concept as a basis for a healthy and flourishing community.
