The Guest List presented by Poss Music Works
The Guest List is about songwriters, their most impactful songs, and the stories behind them. Bill Poss, a notable troubadour in his own right, is your host and executive producer. Each episode, we ask a traveling North American songwriter to perform their 5 most popular/requested songs -- all in front of a live, invite only, studio audience.
Garrett Burris is your audio engineer and producer. JJ Passalacqua with the weather.

TODAY'S EPISODE: Aaron Lee Tasjan (Nashville, TN) joins us for a chat about his thoughts on songwriting, sobriety, and Snider (Todd that is). Aaron Lee has lived a thousand lives in the songwriting world and we were thrilled to let him spill his guts to a packed house in the Starlight Listening Room.
You'll hear stories from the road, interspersed with powerhouse songwriting and performances. But where this episode really shines is when ALT takes us down memory lane with some of his heroes. It's a vulnerable and thoughtful look at a songwriter who is determined to keep the train moving, despite a modern world that seems to be rejecting the middle class songwriter.
Setlist:
- "In the Memphis Rain"
- "The Trouble with Drinkin'"
- "Little Movies"
- "12 Bar Blues"
- "Up All Night"
Aaron Lee Tasjan: Esteemed Guest
Bill Poss: Host, Producer
Garrett Burris: Co-host, Producer
