The Valley S3 E7 Recap: Mean Girls, Meltdowns & Marriage Bombs 💥
The Valley-S3 E7: “Triggers and Tiaras”
Episode 7 brings the cast to San Diego for a getaway packed with emotional breakdowns, explosive confrontations, awkward apologies, and drunken chaos. The trip quickly turns tense as Janet and Michelle continue icing out Lacey, creating what Lacey calls a “mean girl gang-up.” Kristen struggles emotionally throughout the trip, battling anxiety and insecurity while Luke tries to support her — eventually breaking down in tears while confiding in Zack about how hard things have been.
The biggest drama erupts at dinner when Janet confronts Lacey about allegedly threatening legal action. Lacey fires back, accusing Janet of bullying her from the moment they met, bringing up comments Janet made about her auditioning for Housewives and researching her online. The conversation spirals when Janet delivers a half-hearted apology before storming off, flipping everyone off and declaring Lacey “not worth her time.”
Back at the house, tensions explode again when Brittany encourages Michelle and Lacey to finally hash out their issues. What starts as a conversation about cease-and-desist letters quickly becomes a brutal airing of dirty laundry. Michelle accuses Lacey of talking badly about her, while Lacey claims Michelle insulted her appearance and said she’d never want her around Isabella. Things escalate even further when Lacey brings up an alleged incident where Michelle pushed Jesse into a window during their marriage. Michelle strongly denies the accusation, saying Jesse was drunk and fell backward himself.
Meanwhile, Danny’s drinking becomes a growing concern throughout the trip. Lala notices his aggressive behavior and openly calls him out, while several cast members joke about how intoxicated he is. The next day at the zoo and safari, Danny and Nia bicker over parenting responsibilities while caring for their baby, creating uncomfortable moments for the group. Lala becomes emotional watching the interaction, saying she’s triggered by the way Danny speaks to Nia and worrying about what happens behind closed doors. Danny brushes it off by mocking her as “Ms. Triggered,” leaving the episode ending on a dark and uneasy note.
The episode balances heavy emotional conflict with absurd comic relief, including Schwartz confessing to a sex dream about Lala, Zack drinking vodka from a rhino cup, and the cast preparing for a ridiculous male beauty pageant hosted by former Miss USA Nia. But beneath the tiaras and costumes, the cracks in multiple relationships are becoming impossible to ignore.

Wendy (00:01.072)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever, I'm Wendy.
Kelli (00:04.651)
I'm Kelly.
Wendy (00:07.354)
We are talking about the Valley, season three, episode number seven. This one's called Triggers and Tierras, but before we get into that, I would just like to do my call to action, ask everyone to please head over to YouTube and hit subscribe if you haven't already, tell your friends, and follow us on all social media platforms. And thank you for everyone who already has.
Kelli (00:28.91)
Thank you.
Wendy (00:31.094)
So we start out in San Diego again we're still in San Diego and they're done at the amusement park and they're going to dinner.
Wendy (00:43.78)
So Janet.
Kelli (00:44.162)
Michelle getting annoyed that she might have to sit next to Lacey or across from her.
Wendy (00:48.08)
So immature, to be honest with you. So immature.
Kelli (00:52.834)
You know, I have a feeling that a lot happened off camera, obviously. And listen, I'm sure Lacey's not the easiest person to deal with, I would imagine. And I don't think Michelle's the easiest person to deal with. And we certainly know Jesse's not the easiest person to deal with. So I think it's a situation of her story, her story, and somewhere in the middle is the truth.
Wendy (01:05.914)
imagine so too.
Wendy (01:17.944)
I No, I totally agree.
Lacey feels like Janet and Michelle are being mean girls to her. And while this is going on, Kristen doesn't feel like staying at the restaurant because she doesn't feel good. She doesn't want to be a Debbie Downer there. She just wants to head back and just wants to lay down in bed. And I think personally, think Luke was trying to, he offered to go with her. She didn't want that. He totally understood like if that's what she wants to do, that's what she wants to do.
But then Zach walked over and then she's like, no, this isn't what I wanted. And then Brittany walked over and then she's just like, listen, she is in the midst of it. And it is like, this is how she felt.
Kelli (02:09.868)
It's how she felt. I don't think Luke could say anything right in this situation. No matter what he said, it wasn't gonna be good. I've said it on the podcast many times. I had postpartum depression really bad after tests. And sometimes you wanted to leave the house with the baby and sometimes it was so overwhelming and the wave of anxiety is so much. All you wanna do is be home with the baby. It's very normal what she's going through. I feel bad because Luke's getting the brunt of it.
And in this moment, Zack and Brittany. But like you said, she's going through it. Like these babies are little that they're bringing on these trips. They're little. So it's like almost like they should have just left them home with the nanny or a family member. It doesn't seem like Kristen has like family members. Nia has her mom, but I don't know.
Wendy (02:43.278)
Yeah.
Wendy (02:47.856)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (03:04.399)
I don't even think that was the case with this because that's not even the issue with Kristen. The issue is she's hemorrhaging, right? So she got her first, right, she got her first period after the baby. So it's extremely heavy. She's wearing the adult diaper. She's very uncomfortable in her own skin. She doesn't feel well. She just wants to be home. That's where she should go. Go back to the place that they're staying. And nobody would fault her for that.
Kelli (03:11.83)
Right, she's just not comfortable.
Kelli (03:23.896)
Yeah.
Kelli (03:28.738)
Right, absolutely.
Kelli (03:33.758)
No!
Wendy (03:34.062)
But when she sees people trying to come and talk to her, she feels like it's being made into a big thing. And really it's not, but again, nobody could have done anything at that point, because she was just already in her head.
Kelli (03:46.86)
Yeah, and I think Zach's intentions were good. He's obviously got a good way with Kristen and Luke. And I believe Brittany where she said, I thought you were looking at me like you wanted me. I don't think Brittany, Brittany's like a Terry. There's no, you know, there's no bean boner. There's no male intent, no.
Wendy (04:00.269)
Right. Right.
No. Exactly. There's no malice. Right. No. So she just, she goes back by herself.
Then Jasmine starts with what to ask Michelle, what would you think if Jesse was the officiant at our wedding? And Michelle's like, that's okay. It's, you know, it's fine with me. So Jesse, Jesse decides he's going to do a quick audition for the wedding, the officiant. And then Lana says that she's going to throw her hat in the ring. And she decides to say, you know, we all know when we find love and you choose
Kelli (04:25.922)
Your wedding.
Wendy (04:44.548)
to get married, you know that it will end. But you guys are lesbians, so you're gonna stand the test of time. You'll be fine. I'm like, okay, that would be a great officiant.
Wendy (04:59.056)
Then we see Lala goes over to talk to Lacey and Danny and Schwartz are drinking. And I'll be honest with you, Danny was inebriated. And we have never seen Dark Side Danny.
Kelli (05:13.443)
Yeah.
Kelli (05:19.518)
No, and I don't think he was so bad at the dinner. I have to be honest, he wasn't, but I find drunk people very, like sloppy drunk, I find that very annoying, which, who the hell am I, because I've been there? But he was annoying drunk at the dinner. It hadn't heightened, yeah. But obviously we see what happens after that.
Wendy (05:24.396)
No, wasn't, wasn't.
Wendy (05:42.544)
Who's obnoxious?
Kelli (05:47.596)
Danny is obviously someone who just shouldn't drink. He just shouldn't drink. Smoke weed, Danny. Seriously, he shouldn't drink.
Wendy (05:53.198)
I agree.
Wendy (05:56.75)
No, I totally agree. And you know, Lala's calling him out on it. And listen, I get it. Lala's been there. She knows what it looks like. And again, she's another one.
Kelli (06:05.678)
And I'm not saying he's an alcoholic. I'm not saying that. I'm saying that he can't control his behavior when he drinks and it might not happen every night. It might not happen every week. It might only happen once a month. But you're not a good drinker. And when you're not a good drinker, you just shouldn't drink.
Wendy (06:30.179)
Exactly. No, exactly.
Totally agree. Because then he makes that comment to Michelle, don't yawn at the table because I don't want you to be labeled an alcoholic. And I'm like, my gosh, you of all people.
Kelli (06:45.698)
Yeah, it was like, yeah, right.
Wendy (06:50.018)
Then Janet and Jason ask Jessie and Lacey to hang back that they want to have a little talk before they all leave.
Wendy (07:03.278)
So Janet starts out with, you I noticed that you blocked me. I didn't know if there was some sort of boundary or anything you wanted to talk to me about. Now again, Janet doesn't first of all.
Kelli (07:15.896)
She starts the conversation the same way she did with Janet. I'm sorry, Jasmine and Nia. If there's anything you want to say, no Janet, you know what you did, apologize.
Wendy (07:22.425)
Right.
Wendy (07:27.908)
Right, you're the one who started the conversation. You're the one who asked to have the conversation.
Kelli (07:30.171)
Right? Yeah. No, zero accountability. And Jason's like, yeah, no, she's right.
Wendy (07:33.977)
She just-
Wendy (07:42.126)
So Lacey goes on to say, listen, just, know, personally, I feel like you guys are mean girls. And I understand why Michelle, you know, doesn't like me. She's warranted, you know. I'm dating her ex. Like, there's history there. But you, to me, went on national television and told everyone that I threatened to sue you. And then she's like, well, you sent a cease and desist. And she's like, no, I didn't. No, I did not.
I actually only sent it to Michelle. Didn't send it to you. She's like, well.
Kelli (08:18.664)
And let's be clear, she had every right to do that because Michelle and Jesse called Sheena, of course it always goes back to Sheena, on camera. They didn't say her name, but they brought her up and spoke about her on the show. I mean, a cease and desist is one thing, well, whatever, it doesn't matter. But she had every right to send that to Michelle because that was on the show.
Wendy (08:39.994)
Right.
Wendy (08:46.468)
It was on the show. And like she said, you you Google her name now and the only thing that comes up is, you know, Baywatch, like all this stuff about her, which is crazy.
Kelli (08:57.102)
She said David Hasselhoff and his new wife have blocked her.
Wendy (09:03.332)
Blocked her, right?
Kelli (09:08.174)
I mean, was it David Hassel? It could not have been David Hasselhoff for crying out.
Wendy (09:11.364)
They just said Baywatch. They just said Baywatch. She was sleeping with someone from Baywatch.
Kelli (09:15.34)
I know, but come on. He's like, I mean, he's older than us, right?
Wendy (09:19.876)
He's absolutely older than us, but there was Baywatch, the movie that Zac Efron was in. You're talking about Baywatch.
Kelli (09:24.694)
Right. And there were other younger, much better looking guys on Baywatch when Baywatch was on.
Wendy (09:30.872)
Yeah, but there was a movie that came out that Zac Efron was in. It could have been someone from that. Also much younger.
Kelli (09:35.34)
Right, Yeah, which wasn't a bad movie, by the way. We watched it. It wasn't bad. It wasn't bad at all.
Wendy (09:42.146)
I know, I watched it too, I didn't hate it.
Wendy (09:47.664)
But again, she doesn't own up to it about, know, that she looked at, you know, she did this deep dive and looked her up on Reddit and that she tried out for the housewife 17 times. And Janet's like, well, no, right. And then Janet's not even owning it. Lacey's like, I have the voicemail message where you apologized. So that means she did own up to it at one point, but now that you're on camera.
Kelli (09:58.147)
and then laughed about it.
Kelli (10:11.933)
Exactly. Yeah, and Janet, I'm sorry. First of all, there's nothing wrong with Lacey trying to try out for Housewives. And I saw a clip of two tees where Tamara and Dolores were talking about this. And Tamara was like, you know, I had heard that she tried out. And what's wrong with that? By the way, I don't know why they didn't put her on. They should have. But what, for whatever reason, I doubt it was 17 times.
Maybe it was multiple times, but so have a lot of other housewives done that. Jennifer apparently Jennifer Aiden was trying to get on for years prior to getting on. And I'm sure there are a lot more that we just don't know about.
Wendy (10:53.584)
100%. Yeah.
Kelli (10:54.934)
Okay, so you resubmit. You don't get it the first time you resubmit. That's a once in a lifetime opportunity. So good for her.
Wendy (11:05.808)
So again, Janet doesn't admit to anything, but she does say, yeah, she said, if it came off as offensive to you, then I'm sorry. Again, didn't admit to it. Janet said, I want to have a fun weekend and everyone's here. and Jesse's like, this is the type of apology that everyone hates about you. Like, this is what you do. And Janet's like, guess, you know.
Kelli (11:09.419)
Mm-hmm ignores it
Kelli (11:29.176)
He too for ya.
Wendy (11:34.244)
just don't mean that, I guess you just don't mean that much to me, which again, it just proves that the.
Kelli (11:38.402)
Janet said, it doesn't mean anything to me and it's not worth my time and she walks away. She's a, I don't like to use this word and I'll spell it out, but she's a P-U-S-S-Y. She walks the walk, she can't talk the talk. She cannot face up to anything she's done.
Wendy (11:56.44)
Right. Because that's not a real apology.
Kelli (11:57.443)
Like, no, not at all, not at all.
Wendy (12:02.0)
And then she walks away. Meanwhile, she says, F you. And she's giving them the finger. And Jessie's E-
Kelli (12:10.112)
And Jason says to Jesse and Lacey, this is too far. You've gone too far. They've gone too far?
Wendy (12:16.024)
Right. Right.
Kelli (12:20.921)
cause Jessie yelled at her. She yelled at her.
Wendy (12:24.004)
He yelled at her and he was clapping.
And Lacey's telling him to stay out of it. And Jason jumps in and says to Jessie, what is your problem right now?
Wendy (12:40.804)
Listen, in this situation, I don't think that Lacey did anything wrong. Jesse was fueling the fire. He should have stayed out of it. She could have handled it herself. By the same token, there's no reason for Jason to be there either.
Kelli (12:50.466)
Yes.
Kelli (12:58.038)
No. Yeah, right, it probably should have just been Lacey and Janet.
Wendy (13:02.436)
Right. But Janet, like you said, she can't admit to anything and she can't, she can't fight her own battles that she creates.
Kelli (13:11.214)
Now she.
Right, no, she needs Jason there, for sure. Yeah, she needs Jason.
Kelli (13:22.914)
Then they meet up again outside.
Wendy (13:23.086)
And then they're, yes, yes. And you know, Jesse goes up to Lacey and said, give me your keys, I'll go get the car. And she's like, I just want you to apologize for yelling. He's like, well, there'll be an apology, but not now. And.
Kelli (13:39.277)
why she, first of all, I do wonder what the dynamic of their relationship is. She doesn't seem to like Jesse very much. She doesn't act like she likes him very much. I don't know how she acts off camera, but she really doesn't. And don't tell him what to do, because I guarantee you Jesse has that oppositional defiance disorder. The more you tell him what to do, the more he's going to, you know, not do it.
the less likely he is to do what you're asking him to do.
Wendy (14:13.104)
I think she likes him and I think it is a little game that she kind of plays with him so that his head is not too big. I think she likes to have the upper hand because of what a strong personality he is. And she's got money and he doesn't and I'll be honest with you. She doesn't need him.
Kelli (14:20.14)
Maybe, maybe.
Kelli (14:32.79)
Yeah, and she's got money and he doesn't, you know?
Wendy (14:42.488)
I think he needs her more than she needs him. And I think that she uses that power. And good for her. You know? Good for her.
Kelli (14:43.117)
No.
Kelli (14:48.194)
Yeah, yeah. I mean, she could, I mean, it could be, obviously she has an interest of being on reality TV. So this does serve her well, dating him and now being on reality TV. Cause she didn't want to be on last season, but maybe when OC didn't pull through, she was like, okay, I guess I'll be on the Valley.
Wendy (14:58.236)
100 %!
Wendy (15:12.364)
Well, I mean, also when she didn't get to tell her side of the story, because we were only hearing, we were only hearing, there's only one way for us to hear her side and that's for her to come on and do it, right? So it makes sense, it made sense for her to come on.
Kelli (15:18.102)
Right. Right.
Kelli (15:25.42)
Right. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (15:30.16)
But then Janet has to say to her, well, maybe if you peg him, he'll apologize. First of all, that is the most crass thing I've heard. Am I being prudish or is that crass? I think it's crass.
Kelli (15:42.818)
Yeah, I agree.
No, I don't know why this is like a thing now. We saw it on Southern Hospitality when Lilly said it, Lilly Grace, or Grace Lilly rather. I knew that didn't sound right. I don't understand what, yeah, find it, I mean, it's not offensive to me. It's just like, why are we even, why?
Wendy (15:55.088)
You're silly.
Wendy (16:07.332)
Like that would just be to emasculate him.
Kelli (16:10.848)
Right, which is offensive. Not to us as straight women, but it is offensive.
Wendy (16:15.056)
which is offensive. Right, right. And Lacey's like, I don't even know what that means. And I don't think she was lying. And Jason obviously did. Well, first she said, she said, I don't talk about butt stuff. Cause first she said, I don't know what it means. And then she said, Janet said, you know, F them in the butt. And she's like, I don't, I don't talk about that butt stuff. But Jason knew exactly what it meant. I don't know.
Kelli (16:23.298)
She said, don't talk about that. She said, I don't talk about that stuff.
Kelli (16:43.022)
Well, that's interesting.
Wendy (16:45.612)
I thought so too.
Kelli (16:47.5)
I mean, Jen emasculates Jason every scene we see them in,
Wendy (16:52.611)
I know.
Wendy (16:56.304)
So they get back to the house. It's, I don't know if you noticed this, but it was 9 33. And Danny's like, oh wow, it's late for me. And I'm thinking to myself, oh my gosh, I like 9 33 is late when you have four small children, right?
Kelli (17:09.26)
It is.
Yup. Yup.
Wendy (17:14.778)
So back at the big house, Lacey and Jessie are trying to unpack Lacey's stuff, because this is her first time back at the house. I guess Lala won and got the big room. That's what it looked like.
Kelli (17:25.199)
absolutely. And that room that they were in was small, Jesse and Lacey.
Wendy (17:31.01)
Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (17:34.316)
Yeah, La La One, which should be no surprise to anyone.
Wendy (17:39.382)
No, no.
So then we see Janice in the massage chair in the big room, and in the bed is La La, Brittany, and Michelle. And they're all talking about what happened at the restaurant.
Kelli (17:57.775)
And but but Janet, as soon as she goes in the room, she's like, I don't like her.
and I
Wendy (18:11.492)
Yeah. And then we see Luke is talking to Zach and Zach is explaining what happened with Kristen and how she starts taking things out on the people that she loves the most. And it's very frustrating. And pretty much that's Zach and Luke that she's taking it out on.
Kelli (18:32.11)
Yeah. And I feel bad because Luke said he doesn't feel respected and loved and the criticism is making him doubt himself as a dad and a partner. And that's the problem. That's the problem. Like.
Kelli (18:51.53)
I think it happens with first born children between the parents if they're together. I do think that that happens. We laugh about it now. when my kids were teething, I wanted to give them Tylenol. Eric's just not a medicine person. He's not a medicine person. That's not his first go-to. He'll rub the ice. And I'm like, I just wanna fucking sleep.
I'm giving her the Tylenol, you know what I mean? And Eric used to like make fun of me, like you have a holster of medicines and every time they get, know, something happens, you're ready to shoot, you know. We kid about it now, but back then it wasn't funny. And back then we argued over it a lot. There's a lot to argue over with your firstborn child. By the second one, you're like, whatever. Whatever gets them to sleep at night, you know? But it seems to be wearing him down.
Wendy (19:28.528)
Ahem.
Wendy (19:50.766)
Yeah, and they don't know, like that's the whole thing. It's not like you know, and by the way, when you do figure it out, you have the next one. The next one's totally different anyway, so what you thought you knew, throw it out the window. So.
Kelli (19:59.183)
exactly. They are not carbon copies of each other. And you think you're going to parent them both the same way or the three of them the same way. You don't because you can't because they're different.
Wendy (20:14.352)
Right. Right.
Wendy (20:19.184)
Then we see he did he did
Kelli (20:21.08)
But Zach started crying. I thought that was very sweet. Like he truly cares about all of them. And I love that he cares about Luke just as much as he cares about Kristen. Like I think if Luke were really doing something wrong, Zach would have called them out on it and you know, we would see it.
Wendy (20:32.558)
Yeah, because he was saying.
Wendy (20:41.718)
Zach is, honestly, I would give him like the number one gay best friend. yeah, he really is. I mean, even 100%. These are words we say all the time is absolutely.
Kelli (20:48.227)
yeah, he's the number one guy in the group. Absolutely. Absolutely.
Kelli (20:57.514)
for All the time. You guys should, if you drink, you should play a drinking game and drink every time we say 100 % absolutely or for sure.
Wendy (21:07.162)
That's right. mean, only if you're not driving.
Kelli (21:11.286)
Right, only if you're not driving, yes.
Wendy (21:15.208)
yeah, he cares about his friends and he will ride for them, which is awesome. Like that's the kind of friend you want. You do.
Kelli (21:21.048)
Yeah. Yep.
which really leads me to believe that Janet is just truly not a good person. Because apparently she and Zach were close at one point. And them not being close now, it just leads me to really believe that it's her, it's not him.
Wendy (21:45.752)
Yeah, I agree. I agree.
Wendy (21:57.754)
So Jason is still coming for Jesse. And he's saying that, you know, Jesse is not acting normal. And I'm just like, why is this any of your business right now? Seriously.
Kelli (22:14.786)
He's like...
I don't know.
Kelli (22:22.318)
I don't know how to say this to not, he's almost like an abused spouse, Jason.
Like I don't know how to say it any other way. Maybe not abused, it may be obviously abused is the wrong word, like inferior to Janet. Like he just, he doesn't see his value in this relationship, I don't feel. Where he is the more valuable person in the relationship.
Wendy (22:47.629)
No, I agree.
He absolutely is. absolutely is. Did I say Jason is still coming for Jesse or did I say Danny? Because I meant to say Danny, but I'm not sure what I actually said.
Kelli (22:58.742)
No, you said Jason, but I have that, the guys are all talking about what happened and Jason said, Jesse got loud.
Wendy (23:02.276)
Jason still
Right.
Right. Well, and Jason also said that if Jesse didn't get involved, that Lacey and Janet could have worked it out.
Kelli (23:18.188)
And I don't think that's true. Well, I mean, unless Janet actually took accountability and apologized, which...
Wendy (23:20.643)
I don't
Wendy (23:25.668)
Well, that would have to happen. Right, right. So then Lacey comes in the kitchen and says, can you please apologize to Jason for yelling? And Jessie apologized for yelling when she was walking out of the restaurant. So he did finally apologize. Lacey's like, you can't yell in people's faces when you don't like what's happening. And then Brittany said, I think at some point, you and Michelle need to talk.
like, you know, have a conversation about last year. And Michelle's like, well, I'm right here. Like, you know, what? And Brittany's like, just so you guys can clear the air. So Brittany's like, you know, the whole cease and desist. So those two decide that they're going to go and have a conversation. Lacey and Michelle.
This also went left.
Kelli (24:20.812)
my god, so left.
I mean, and part of the problem is, well, Michelle says you tried to sue me. the biggest problem is that Jesse has shown Lacey text messages from Michelle to him about Lacey. And I mean, this kind of surprised me that she like talked about her physical appearance. That kind of surprised me about Michelle.
Wendy (24:47.472)
I mean, it doesn't surprise me, given the context of it, because it was in the midst of her just coming into Jessie's life when they had already, like she explains it, when they'd already made an agreement that they weren't gonna introduce anybody. And then here's this girl sitting in the car. So obviously she was gonna be introduced. It was someone that she didn't know, didn't know anything about, just, you know.
Kelli (25:04.12)
Right.
Right.
Kelli (25:14.541)
Right.
Wendy (25:14.744)
what was the word on the street that she probably got from Janet, right? So yeah, she's lashing out and what she thinks is to her soon to be ex. listen, it didn't surprise me, because you think about it. what are you gonna do? You're gonna have to say something. You don't know this person. So all you got right now is a physical appearance thing.
Kelli (25:41.794)
Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (25:43.996)
I don't, you know, there's nothing wrong with her. Like she's a pretty girl. Like if she was ugly, if it was ugly, it would be like, my gosh, I can't believe she said she's ugly, but she's a beautiful girl. So it's like, who cares?
Kelli (25:48.332)
No, of course.
Kelli (25:52.93)
Right. That's true.
Kelli (25:59.375)
Well, how about the throwing him through a window thing? Like, the stories were very, very, very different.
Wendy (26:01.555)
Wendy (26:09.284)
Yeah. Well, that's well. And then again, that's the problem because.
We have Jesse's version of it. We have Michelle's version of it. And then there's probably the truth, which is right. And again, know, Jesse is giving this information to Lacey, which he...
Kelli (26:23.118)
somewhere in the middle.
Kelli (26:32.076)
Right, so of course he's gonna paint himself in a good light and Michelle in a bad light. She should know that.
Wendy (26:38.778)
Right.
Kelli (26:46.114)
Jasmine in her confessional saying she's gonna do her Dash Michelle vibrator was fantastic. And I hope she actually did it.
Wendy (26:52.281)
Yes.
Yeah.
I mean, honestly, I feel like, yeah.
Kelli (27:00.862)
But she might be getting it from Dr. Dre right now, so...
Wendy (27:04.772)
I think she's okay.
Kelli (27:06.368)
I think she's fine.
Wendy (27:08.698)
think she's okay. Maybe she can send one to Janet though.
Kelli (27:10.168)
She's got a smile on her face.
please, please. I don't either. Gummies, give her something. Do something.
Wendy (27:16.43)
I don't know that that would help though.
Wendy (27:23.408)
I said, know, I felt like Michelle just needed to admit that she was being petty and apologize in this situation.
Kelli (27:30.542)
We get because Lacey apologizes and Michelle starts yelling, divorce me, divorce me. I mean, she really kind of lost it there. Admittedly, I probably would have too, but somebody has to be the bigger person here.
Wendy (27:44.792)
Right. And Michelle admits, right, Michelle admits that she lost it. I mean, after, you know, she reflects on it and the next day when she talks to her, she's like, listen, like, I don't, I don't like to get like this, but you know, obviously this is a trigger for her. You know, anything relating to her ex or soon to be ex is a trigger because, you know, I don't know if it's true or not, but Jesse hasn't disputed it.
Kelli (27:51.565)
Yeah.
Kelli (28:01.121)
Yeah.
Wendy (28:12.962)
Michelle told us that she said he can have everything. She doesn't want the house, she didn't want the money. Right? So what is taking this divorce so long?
Kelli (28:19.724)
Yeah. Yeah.
I'm sure it's him holding it up. I'm sure it's him dragging his feet. I believe that wholeheartedly.
Wendy (28:26.105)
Right.
Wendy (28:30.828)
I do too. I do too and I feel like she's frustrated. It's a control thing and she even says this to Lacey, know, Jesse liked to control me. But I don't think he has any control over Lacey because like you said, she's got the money and she doesn't need him. He needs her more than she needs him. So it's a totally different dynamic.
Kelli (28:46.21)
Yeah. No. Absolutely.
Yep. Totally, totally different.
Wendy (29:02.894)
Let's see what happens next.
Kelli (29:05.464)
Well, the next morning. So the girls, Janet and Brittany, sit, Michelle down, I think Lala was there that.
You know, kind of lost, know, Michelle lost it and she should probably, you know, do better tomorrow.
Kelli (29:27.416)
Then we're at the next morning when Schwartze tells Lala that he had an intense sex dream about her and she had to reassure him that he didn't actually cheat on his girlfriend with her.
Wendy (29:40.164)
That was so funny. That was so funny. He is, like I said, he is like a golden retriever. He really is. Like he's so...
Kelli (29:46.873)
He is, and I loved when she was like, he'd probably have steam glasses and keep his socks on. I just thought of, did you watch Southern Charm when Catherine, you know, the redhead Catherine, she's not on it anymore, but she was talking about how she had sex with Whitney and he kept his, the girls asked her, like, did he keep his glasses on? And she was like, he did.
Wendy (29:54.68)
Not wrong.
Wendy (30:10.832)
That's so funny.
Kelli (30:13.806)
You
Wendy (30:19.77)
So the next morning they're getting ready to go to the safari.
So, my gosh. Zach and Benji in their outfits was so funny. Their safari outfits.
Kelli (30:37.102)
It was so funny when Zach was like, look like you paid for an expensive safari and I look like I'm your tour guide. He really did. He totally looked like he worked there.
Wendy (30:46.265)
Yep.
Wendy (30:51.512)
I know, I was thinking the same thing. And when they were packing the episode before, I'm like, they're packing to wear safari outfits? I thought, my gosh. And then when we actually saw them, I said, my, I love it. I so love it.
Kelli (31:03.148)
Yeah, I think that was just at the San Diego Zoo though, right?
Wendy (31:06.786)
Yeah, it was. was. So in the morning, Jason's talking about like, he has to go back, I guess, to the valley because he's got something to do from work. So he wasn't sure if he should go come back to the house or just stay at home because it's a long drive. And Janet's like, yeah, it doesn't make sense. You know, just come back. You're just asleep here. And he's kind of like, well, yeah. And he's like, well, I don't, you know, I don't really want to leave you here by yourself.
Kelli (31:27.95)
right because they were leaving the next day anyway.
Wendy (31:35.096)
I'm like, it just goes to show you, like, give me a break.
Kelli (31:37.934)
Yep, I think she can handle herself. And if she can't, then she needs to keep her mouth shut.
Wendy (31:41.506)
Yeah.
Wendy (31:46.318)
Yeah, exactly. Then we see Kristen and Luke are outside and they're on the swing and she really apologizes to him. She's crying about, you know, her anxiety and, you know, Luke is saying he feels like he's taking it out on him and she is and she acknowledges that. She's like, you know, I shouldn't take it out on you, but...
know, her confessional, she still worries in the back of her mind, like, may not be able to take me some point and just, like, leave me. Like, I know that this is a good guy, and I don't want to screw this up, like, with my crazy, right?
Kelli (32:20.952)
Yeah, and it was interesting when she said about her exes, who couldn't handle her anxiety, know? And I was thinking, God, we really have seen her go through it, because Sandoval was cheating on her with Adriana, we found out eventually, which, by the way, Adriana, you lose them like you get them, so I don't know what to tell you. And then James was not, he had substance, yeah, so.
Wendy (32:45.732)
He was abusive.
Kelli (32:49.196)
Yeah, she hasn't had the best relationships.
Wendy (32:53.496)
No, she really hasn't, no.
Kelli (32:54.71)
Not that she was, you know, not that she was innocent either, but.
Wendy (32:59.67)
She was crazy- she was crazy, Kristen, for a reason.
Kelli (33:02.358)
Yeah, exactly.
Wendy (33:05.252)
But she has matured a lot, and this is not her being crazy. This is a hormonal thing from postpartum, right?
Kelli (33:05.826)
Yeah. Yes.
Wendy (33:15.554)
So they're getting ready to get onto the wagons, know, the wagons for the safari and there's two different ones and Nia and Danny, Nia has to take the baby on through the safari because she needs to feed the baby because it's 10 minutes overdue and Danny's already on the wagon but the baby and Lena are on the ground and Nia is telling him to go get
the baby and the wagon or the stroller and get them onto the wagon. And Danny is just a little confused by the whole situation. So I watched the after show. Did you watch the after show?
So on the after show, what he was explaining was the whole reason that they brought Lena was the reason they paid Lena to go there with them is so that she would be there to help with the baby so that they could spend some time together. Obviously, she, mean, Lena can't breastfeed, but she could do everything else. And, you know, when he would say, you know,
Why can't Lena, you know, why can't Lena do this? And I don't, I kind of don't blame him. Like he wanted to go on this trip and have a little fun and, you know, blow up a little steam and spend some time with his wife, even though the baby was there. And she just had a different expectation. Like she is used to doing things a certain way and it just comes off so bad.
Kelli (35:00.96)
It comes off bad and to the kids at home, this should be all the birth control you need, watching Nia and Danny and Luke and Kristen. Cause this is real shit right here. This is real shit that they're putting out there for us to watch. So wrap it up if you're not ready for this. But it doesn't make Danny an asshole that he didn't know the nanny needed help getting onto the truck. Like,
Wendy (35:01.187)
It just comes up so bad.
Wendy (35:13.711)
Yeah.
Wendy (35:29.144)
No.
Kelli (35:30.69)
the producers are starting to piss me off a little bit. Cause they really are, listen, the drunk Danny, no good, no good. We see it coming up. But in that moment, that didn't make him an asshole. And what happens next, Nia going crazy because the baby isn't in the shade. Well, you should have probably thought about that before you brought that baby on that truck. If you were afraid, where was the baby's hat Nia? Like who's fault?
Wendy (35:34.137)
Yeah.
Wendy (35:38.146)
No, no, no.
Wendy (35:43.981)
No.
Kelli (35:59.681)
I'm sorry, but in that moment, she was putting way more on Danny than necessary. But again, you're dealing with a new baby. This is what happens with couples. So if you're not in it for the long haul, you don't do it. But I didn't, I didn't like what she did to him next about the whole baby being in the sun and put her in it and get her in the shade. And first of all, she's not going to melt. I know it's hot, but she fed, she ate.
Wendy (36:05.84)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (36:29.6)
she's hydrated, she's gonna be okay, how long is this ride anyway? And you should have thought about that. Maybe Lena and the baby should have stayed at the house with Kristen's kid.
Wendy (36:33.295)
Right.
Wendy (36:37.541)
Right.
Kelli (36:44.226)
That drove me nuts.
Wendy (36:46.126)
Yeah, and I can't imagine, listen, I know that she needs to nurse the baby all the time, or, you know, how long was the actual safari? Wasn't it? Right.
Kelli (36:52.28)
Pump! Right.
Kelli (36:58.326)
I don't know how, I mean it could have been at least an hour for sure, but it was at a zoo. It wasn't like you were on an African safari.
Wendy (37:07.982)
Right. Yeah.
Kelli (37:10.07)
I'm thinking of, I'm thinking of great adventure going through that. It couldn't have been much more than that.
Wendy (37:14.85)
I know. I know. Right. And what is that? That's not even an hour, I don't think.
Kelli (37:19.714)
That's not even an hour now. I'm sure this one's better than that.
Wendy (37:22.34)
But poor Jasmine, she's like, feel so awkward watching them. I'm just like, okay, there's a giraffe. She's trying to, and I honestly would probably be doing the same thing. What do you do when you're there?
Kelli (37:29.56)
Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (37:36.474)
So then they finish the safari and they get off and some of them are going to go zip lining. I was actually surprised that Jesse went zip lining since he wouldn't go near the roller coaster. Right?
Kelli (37:47.286)
Yeah, yeah, I guess it's not a height thing, it's just a roller coaster thing.
Wendy (37:51.234)
Yeah, but Zach wanted to go get a rhino full of vodka. I was like, that was not a bad idea.
Kelli (37:59.393)
It wasn't, but when he was trying to pull it over his head and he was like struggling and Lacey's just like, like totally ignoring, not ignoring him on purpose, but she had no clue. Like that went right over her head. Meanwhile, he's like, you know, choking himself out.
Wendy (38:15.608)
Yeah. So according to Zach, mean, everybody really does like Lacey. Kristen is very close with Lacey. Zach is close with Lacey. Like, I mean, everyone except for Michelle and Janet, but...
Kelli (38:29.538)
Yeah, I think we're gonna see a divide here. I think we're gonna have teams pretty soon. It's gonna be a thing. It's gonna be a thing.
Wendy (38:37.518)
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, because then when they're done doing the zip lining, there's all this, there's this whole spread of food out and there's alcohol. It did. There's alcohol there and Danny orders himself a White Claw. Now what's a White Claw? I mean, you really can't... Right. You're not getting drunk off a White Claw. Although I think he may have. I don't know maybe what else he put in his White Claw.
Kelli (38:46.51)
That looked good, spread of food.
Kelli (38:55.032)
Yeah, I mean, it's like soda.
Kelli (39:07.544)
Maybe he has Gilberre syndrome.
Wendy (39:07.566)
Maybe some of that rhino, maybe, or maybe some of that rhino full of vodka got poured in there. I don't know.
Kelli (39:14.19)
Yeah, Maybe the rhino was being shared.
Wendy (39:20.536)
I doubt it, I don't think Zach would do that, maybe he does though. Maybe there is a reason that he can't drink alcohol. Maybe his body just gets very drunk very quick. I mean, he's not a big guy.
Kelli (39:31.31)
Well, that's it. Yeah, like that. I believe that is an issue with anyone who has Gilbert syndrome. I have someone in my family who was diagnosed with that and they have a much lower tolerance for alcohol than other people.
Wendy (39:48.208)
Right. And that may just be what his situation is. So then while they're eating, Michelle says to Lala, like, I'm going to go talk to Lacy. Like, know, tell me how to start. listen, I like that Lala kind of gave her a little pep talk. You're going to go over there. You're going to be friendly. know, make it clear. You need to be firm that what happened last night cannot happen again, right?
Kelli (40:13.154)
Yeah
Wendy (40:16.793)
So Michelle does, she walks over there and she, you know, she asks Lacey if she can talk. And I think that she, actually I think Michelle did a good job. I think that she started, I think she started well.
Kelli (40:24.236)
Yeah.
Wendy (40:28.344)
and I think Lacey did too. You know, she said, listen, first and foremost, I want to apologize. I feel horrible. You know, I know a part of the problem is that Jesse did share these text messages with me and I that's wrong. Like she knows it's wrong, right?
Kelli (40:49.326)
Mm-hmm.
Wendy (40:51.222)
And I think that, listen, I think that that conversation went very well. I think that they were both able to express themselves in a calm and a cool way. And I think they were able to make their points, which really is what needed to happen. And I don't think that Michelle is like this crazy, erratic person that flips out all the time. That's not really who she is.
Kelli (41:13.078)
And not at all, we said it last week, like she's clearly a very calm person. I think Jesse knows what to do to rile her up. But still, she doesn't even raise her voice other than when she was yelling divorce me, divorce me. But we've never seen that side of her before. She just seems like a calm person. And so does Lacey.
Wendy (41:17.081)
Right.
Right.
Right. Right.
Wendy (41:29.656)
Right. No. Right. so does Lacey. Exactly. So does Lacey. Lacey's the same way.
Kelli (41:38.348)
Yeah, so like if Jesse weren't involved, they would probably be fine.
Wendy (41:43.822)
Yeah, they probably would be. They probably would be. So those guys work it out.
And Lacey in her confessional said, listen, she thinks that Michelle has her own trauma that's kind of unresolved. But she admits that she does as well. She goes to therapy herself. This is not something that just happened overnight, especially the situation with Jessie.
So then they announced that they're going to go back to their place, but they're going to be doing a mail pageant because they've got all the accessories, the competition, because Nia was the former Miss USA. So they're going to go do this pageant thing. But on the way back, Zach and Schwartz decide to stop and get four locos. Have you ever had these four locos?
Kelli (42:46.392)
I've never had it, but some rapper started it, right?
Wendy (42:50.308)
I don't know, but my kids talk about this for Loco. I guess it's a lot of alcohol content. They're very strong. And it's the 20-something thing. That's what they drink.
Kelli (42:56.791)
I so.
Kelli (43:06.188)
Yeah, so it was produced by Fusion Projects and it had 13.9 % alcohol level. And that's equivalent to roughly four to seven standard beers. Originally it was sold with caffeine and then it was reformulated in 2010 to remove the stimulants. But I thought...
Wendy (43:09.722)
who started it.
Kelli (43:34.956)
I thought there was a wrapper involved. Let me just see. no, I'm thinking of something else.
Kelli (43:47.477)
AP rap? Yeah, the most prominent rap song titled For Loco. I'm thinking of something else. SZA something. I'm thinking of something else, Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (43:52.311)
it's different.
Wendy (43:57.38)
okay, so this is just a high alcohol content drink. So they're back at the house and everyone's helping them get dressed as drag. They're helping Schwartz. They had a couple options for him. Schwartz is so like, you know, he's such a good sport, right? Whatever.
Kelli (44:15.554)
Whatever.
He's like, I want to wear this dress. They're like, no, that's actually Lala's dress that she's going to wear while we're here.
Wendy (44:22.41)
Right. Exactly.
So we see Nia's helping Danny and Danny's like, he's there to win. I actually, I didn't realize Danny was that competitive about stuff.
Kelli (44:41.164)
I mean, is he or was he drunk and he was just being an ass? Because Lala said like at one point I thought it was like a shtick. Like at one point I thought he was acting like in character or whatever. And she asked him and he, know.
Wendy (44:48.355)
I mean, he-
Wendy (44:55.918)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
He said he, no, he, yeah.
Kelli (45:05.452)
I mean, the fact that she wasn't there right away, because she was doing something with the baby, and then she's telling him to take his shirt off 15 times, and he's standing there, and he's like, well, what do want me to do? Take your fucking shirt off, she just told you 15 times. It was not a good look for Danny, at all. At all.
Wendy (45:23.522)
No, he actually was even saying to her, he's telling her you're in charge, and he felt like he wasn't getting enough attention compared to what everyone else was getting.
Kelli (45:33.644)
Yeah, I hate when guys say that.
Wendy (45:35.288)
Which... Yeah!
Kelli (45:38.656)
I really hate when guys say that. She's not your caretaker. And she's here now and she's helping you and she's trying to do it all, which she probably does at home as well. So keep your pants on, Danny. Or actually take them off and put the dress on.
Wendy (45:43.897)
Right, right.
Wendy (45:54.744)
Yeah. Yeah. And exactly. And then she said, you know, do you want full makeup? And he's like, why are you even asking me that? So then she starts to go put the full makeup on and then he's freaking out. I mean, it didn't match, but still, like she was just trying.
Kelli (46:11.522)
Yeah. That, you know what I was thinking though? That really could have been lighting though. Again, like I think the producers are just messing with them this season. That could have been just bad lighting.
Wendy (46:24.324)
Yeah, that's, mean, he's almost orange, like, right?
Kelli (46:24.878)
Because it looked very yellow.
Yeah. Yeah.
Wendy (46:31.8)
Yeah, so that's when Lala came in and she's like...
She's like, you know, I feel uncomfortable by the way you're speaking to her. Like, and she even apologized. She's like, listen, I'm sorry, Nia, but I just, I'm triggered by this. And she's like, she walks out and she's like, she's crying. Like she literally was triggered because you can, you know that she's.
Kelli (46:54.67)
So do you think she was triggered because in prior relationships she was spoken to that way?
Wendy (47:00.312)
Yeah, I do, I do. I think she's seen this firsthand. think, based on her reaction, I think she's seen it firsthand. I think she's seen it firsthand.
And then he just makes it worse because then, you know, she walks back in and he keeps making fun of her by calling her miss triggered.
Like, what are you doing?
Kelli (47:24.067)
Yeah.
Kelli (47:27.854)
He was definitely not in his right space right there. He drank too much, was dark Danny, whatever they call him. But I didn't like that Lala said on Watch What Happens Live, I wish Nia would leave him. I think that's a terrible thing for her to say.
I think that Danny ultimately is probably a good husband and a great father. He just shouldn't drink. But I also didn't like that Nia said in her confessional, one, it's not Lala's business, but two, thankfully someone else sees it. So it's kind of two contradictory statements, right?
Wendy (48:20.506)
She meant it that way, I think, to be quite honest with you. I mean, she was being honest. I think she was saying, like, it's none of her business, but you know what? Thank God I'm not the, like, at least it's validating my feelings. I'm not the only one, right? And I think that, well, I can almost guarantee that as soon as Dani saw this back.
Kelli (48:23.96)
Yeah
Kelli (48:31.884)
Yeah. Right.
Kelli (48:46.85)
Well, that's the thing. If Danny saw this back and thought to himself, that was really shitty of me, I shouldn't have behaved that way, and reached out to Lala and said, listen, I just saw the show and I apologize, but it doesn't sound like he did that because of the way she was talking on Watch What Happens Live.
It doesn't sound like he did that. And he should have, he should have called Alla and been like, I'm sorry.
Wendy (49:13.102)
But we don't
Ahem.
Wendy (49:20.324)
But maybe, listen, she was on the night that it aired, but I think they tape it. They tape it. They don't tape, they usually don't actually do it live anymore. So they probably taped it a couple days before. you know what I'm saying? Maybe he hadn't had a chance to do that yet.
Kelli (49:26.466)
the night it aired. Yeah, so maybe he did.
Kelli (49:33.847)
Right, you're right.
Kelli (49:38.199)
Yeah.
Kelli (49:41.654)
Right. Yeah, you're right. Hopefully he did.
Wendy (49:43.136)
Because I agree. think that...
Because I don't really think he's a bad guy. just don't, like you said, I don't think he should drink. I think that's not good for him. And maybe he should get tested, because maybe he does have that whatever you called it. Repeat it so people know.
Kelli (49:53.516)
Bye. Bye.
Kelli (49:59.715)
Yeah, it's spelled Gilbert's syndrome, but it's pronounced Gilbear syndrome.
And your liver doesn't break down the bilirubin properly. So your tolerance is lower. You can live with it, it's okay, it's just a liver issue.
Wendy (50:10.735)
Yeah.
Wendy (50:26.17)
Right.
Kelli (50:27.382)
and it will affect the way your body handles alcohol intake.
Wendy (50:36.728)
Yeah. So that was left as a to be continued. So we'll.
Kelli (50:41.698)
How about when you could tell though, when Lala was trying to talk to Jesse about it, he was not comfortable talking about it. He did not wanna say anything. He didn't want to.
Wendy (50:51.298)
No. No, and I don't blame him. It's his friend. It's his friend. And I think that's okay. That's okay. They didn't, they didn't, it didn't come up on the after show. It did not come up on the after show. Yeah.
Kelli (50:55.286)
Yep. Yep.
video.
Kelli (51:05.343)
Really?
How could that not have come up on the after show?
Wendy (51:13.208)
I don't know. didn't come up on the after show.
Kelli (51:13.762)
Right?
Kelli (51:18.35)
interesting.
Wendy (51:20.112)
No, I don't think it did. No, I don't think it did.
Kelli (51:24.408)
Wow, all right. So was that it? Because my DVR, okay, because my DVR just shut off.
Wendy (51:27.984)
So that's all we have. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, that was it. Lala's last statement was, would hate to see how he talks to her behind closed doors if he talks to her like that in front of us.
Kelli (51:34.542)
Night.
Kelli (51:42.274)
Yeah, that's the problem. But honestly, I think if there's not alcohol involved, I'm sure he doesn't talk like that at all.
Wendy (51:51.096)
Right. Right.
Kelli (51:53.038)
I mean, listen, we saw with her when she was freaking out about the baby and the sun, the shade, and mama, but he just did what she had. just went, know, okay, all right.
Wendy (52:01.968)
Mm-hmm.

Kelli (52:28.504)
Did you see where West says to Dara, that's the hottest costume we've seen in a long time around here or something like that?
Wendy (52:37.453)
No.
Kelli (52:39.008)

Wendy (52:44.651)
No, I missed that.
Okay.
Kelli (52:48.354)
He's a fucking dirty dog that West. And KJ's come out and said something, commented, put a post out there, and as he should, because West is a dirty dog.
