Your story matters — but it’s not the whole truth of who you are.

In this Awakened Wellness video, we explore the powerful truth that healing begins when we stop letting our past define our future. You are not your pain. You are not your diagnosis. You are not the story that’s been told about you.

You are energy in motion. You are wisdom unfolding.
You are so much more.

Through quotes, insight, and soul-aligned guidance, this video invites you to gently release what no longer serves and step into the expansive healing that’s already within you.

✨ Let your story inform you — but not limit you.
✨ Let your body speak — and listen with love.
✨ Let your healing begin — from the inside out.

As I started to evolve in this work and I started to want to put myself on social media and everything else, I had hired somebody to help me start an Instagram and things like that, because I don't have a lot of time to play on social media. So the first thing I realized because I do help people with chronic pain and illness and everything else she started getting me on all these social media sites and groups that were involved around that social media sites and groups that were involved around that. And the first thing I noticed as I started to learn about the social media is how much the story carried for these individuals and how much putting their bad day out there got them likes or got people to feel sorry for them. And they put pictures of themselves in the hospital. They didn't want to be alone in their journey and I totally get that, but what it was doing, it was feeding this energy and keeping them down. And there was a point where I reached out to quite a few of them and offered them free resources and everything else and showing them that the story wasn't where they wanted to be, that they wanted to be more an opportunist in their healing, and I never got a response back from anybody. I think maybe they thought I was soliciting, maybe I was trying to sell them something, but what I was trying to do was just offer them another option than to keep posting pictures and wanting likes on their misery, not their gains.

Because in today's world we've sensationalized the victim mentality and as long as we stay in it we're never going to get out of it, because it becomes your identity. And once it becomes your identity it's really hard to take advantage of an opportunity that's going to get you out of it, because your whole life is set up and the people around you are set up for you to be a victim and once you start feeling better, nobody's checking in with you. I mean, I've had people tell me that the worst part about their cancer treatments is when the chemo ended, because people stopped calling, people stopped asking how they were feeling. People stopped checking in with them. Because in today's world, if it's not in your face, we let it go. So we feed the victim mentality pretty good. So we have to decide for ourselves who do we want to be in our healing and how do we want our journey to turn out?
