Hosted by three visual artists - Adira Thekkuveettil, Akshay Mahajan & Kaamna Patel - it delves into the story of photographic practice in South Asia, exploring its unique concerns, vocabulary, and possible trajectories.

Varun Nayar is a writer and editor from Delhi. He’s the director of the art history platform MAP Academy, and was previously the managing editor at Aperture, where he facilitated a redesign of the magazine in 2024 and worked on books by Sunil Gupta, Myriam Boulos, Awol Erizku, Kimowan Metchewais, Rebecca Bengal, and Zhang Xiao. Varun’s writing has appeared in ArtReview, Aperture, FOAM, Words Without Borders, Himal Southasian, and National Geographic Traveler, among other publications and catalogues.
