Dr. La'Shardae Scott, DSW, MSW, CHES, is the President and CEO of the Scott Center for Observation, Treatment, and Transition, dedicated to addressing infant mortality, mental health, and the transition of sickle cell patients from pediatric to adult care. A passionate advocate and mother of two children with sickle cell disease, Dr. Scott collaborates with the CDC and Ohio hospitals to improve care delivery.
