I have never met anyone that wanted to live a life in regret. Welcome to the Raquel show. This show is for entrepreneurs who want to play bigger in business and in life. And let me just say, thank you all for tuning in today. I appreciate you. I love showing up for this community. And I want to tell you a few weeks ago. I took a trip away to New York with a few friends, and it was nice to just get away, unwind, and just be present with some of my girlfriends. There wasn't an event, it wasn't a conference, I wasn't speaking at anything, it wasn't planning or hosting anything, it was just really good to unplug for a bit before I start the most busiest time or the most busiest season of the year. With different changes going on in my world, lots of upgrades, I believe that there are signs that nudge you. And when you're ready to listen, they hit you at the right time. We are in the last stretch of the year, my friends, and many of us are thinking, how will I finish the year? How will I finish in business? It's holiday season around the corner. There's going to be lots of crazy distractions. Where are the bumpers? Where are the boundaries that you are going to put in place so that you could be intentional? First, in case no one told you, you should be really proud of yourself. Like pat yourself on the back. In case you didn't know, just be proud of how far you've come this year alone. Despite. Anything that's gotten thrown at you, remember all the challenges that you overcame in 2023 or this year alone sets you up for your next level. It prepares you for what's actually next in life that you're going to tackle or in your business. And in this episode, there are five things that we can do to finish strong. This is your locker room fourth quarter talk. There's a reason why sports teams take timeouts in a game and go into a locker room and you've seen it over and over that a team that comes out even when they're so down in the game surprises everyone in the last few seconds and takes that win, takes that championship title. Boy, do I love seeing those moments, you know, as I'm a sports mama, I love those upsets or the team that overcame. everything together that was meant to break them. You may be feeling like I haven't even reached my goal. I'm not even halfway through my goal, or I'm so far behind. Or you may also be feeling like I'm outpacing my goal. Cause I have talked to some of you guys and remember if you're in real estate, you have about two months. left to put clients into contracts or find them homes or sell their homes if they're going to close before the end of the year. Cause we've got that 30 day lag or 45 day lag, but some of our people are closing in 10 days. So, um, if you're a business owner, you have about 10 weeks with the holidays. So what can we do? Number one is revisit your vision and why. Do not let your gas off that pedal. Be clear and intentional every single working day. And mark off the ones that you are not going to work on. Mark off the holidays that you're going to take time off. So that way you just can crunch time and front load and maximize the time, the days that you are working. What are your needle movers every day? This is where consistency in your activities matter because They can compound over time. Number two is identify. Really important one. Identify what you're going to say no to. Where are your non negotiables? You know, there will be distractions. So it's important to be intentional with your time. And number three is find your community. You level up when you surround yourself with like minded individuals. Community. It can expose you to new ideas and it can also expand you to a new network. It can expand you to new relationships and new resources. So find your community that you can grow with. Number four, invest in your growth. We hire and invest in where we want to go, not where we're at. Your best investment is in yourself. Stop asking how can you shortcut that, that may have been the way you operated. And what I mean by shortcut is, I know for me, There was a lot of limiting beliefs when I grew up around money. I was taught to always try to get a deal or try to get things for free because that was like a bonus. And there still might be some of those cases far in between, but the energy you invite when you pay for growth, even when it's scary, you'll be surprised at how much it can change your life because when you pay, you pay attention. And number five is What does all in mean for you? What does all in look like in the next few weeks as we finish strong? What are the simple daily wins that will help you get you closer to what your vision is? I have never met anyone that wanted to live a life in regret. You don't want to look back on the last day of the year. and say, I could have done it better. I could have done this better. I wish I would have done this. I wish I would have gotten one more client. Let this be the quarter that you be your best, not only in business, but in life. Put a reward out there or bet with somebody that if you hit your goal, you do X, Y, and Z. For me, I know several of my inner circle and our Play Bigger community will be going to Cancun to actually play Bigger. We're going to be doing all the things, getting some of our business stuff done, getting some of our challenges talked out and worked out, and then having some fun.
