Floss and Lou wade into the thorny territory of feeding wild birds - the rewards and the risks.  They also talk about some amazing eight-legged engineers and Lou explains why certain leaves change colour in autumn.  

Floss gets lost in a paddock and Lou gets lost in the week but nevertheless they've both learnt a thing or two.   

The girls fossick for fungi to photograph (say that three times quickly), compare local herons and investigate who's laying eggs in your garden.  

Floss and Lou visit Roberson Rainforest.  They discover some rainforest secrets and  Lou inadvertently collects an unexpected guest!  They also meet a very special group of budding local naturalists.  

Teenagers being kicked out of home, gangs of youths developing,  brand management for insects...it all somehow makes an appearance in this episode.  

Floss and Lou announce breaking news, get a lesson about caring for injured wildlife, and go gaga over Gang Gangs.
