Tattooed Academics 2 - Leah Elson
Hello Inky Thinkers and welcome to the 19th episode of the podcast
This time we are finally continuing our sub series on Tattooed Academics, as well as journeying a bit into the world of the STEM sciences, I know, it is going to be wild!
Of course I as a sociologist am poorly equipped to talk about the STEM sciences, so I have been so fortunate as to have non other than the Stempress herself, the incredible Leah Elson, as a guest on this episode.
Not only is Leah both an accomplished scientist and avid tattoo lover (with more than a few nerdy tattoos to boot), she is also a profilic science communicator and does a lot of work on and off social media, to make science knowledge more accessible to the masses. Something that she actually argues her tattoos assist her in doing to some extent, but to learn more about this and how tattoos fit into her wild academic career, you will have to enjoy the full episode.
As always, there is love, laughter, deep discussion, and something to learn!
Please enjoy and share with your friends, family, pets, and anyone else into tattoos!
