Cancer and Heart Disease are far too common these days in both Men and Women and with these illnesses, Mental Health can play a major part in a patient's recovery.

Nothing prepares us for that dreaded diagnosis of Cancer, a sudden Heart Attack, or Cardiac arrest without warning.

Martin & Patrick discuss their personal experiences, the treatment, the support, family, and friends, not to mention mental health, what resources are available, both medical and financial, and what outside support one can tap into.

Discussions around everyday life, news, sports, hobbies arts and crafts may also feature as we discuss distractions from the challenges faced every day.

From time to time special guests and Celebrity guests are invited into the studio to discuss matters relating to their life and health experience, including healthcare professionals who can inject some alternative insight into a complex subjects.

At age 62, Patrick comes from the lovely countryside of Suffolk located in the UK, A businessman now retired, interests include Art, Motorsport, football, cycling walking, traveling, and Gardening.

Since his second Heart Attack in 2019, just before the pandemic, Patrick decided to retire and have a steady more relaxed life doing things he enjoys.

Patrick now spends a lot of time on the new venture with Martin the Podcast "Who's Tom and Dick" researching podcast content, promotion, and co-opting guests onto the show.

Patrick had his First Heart attack in 2009 at the young age of 48 and had three stents fitted a further heart attack in 2019 at the age of 57 and again 3 more stents (1 re-placement) fitted.

Patrick now wishes to share his experiences with others and help people in a similar situation come to terms with their illness and promote a positive mental attitude going forward.
