In this episode we are going to be discussing menopause. Menopause and perimenopause is not talked about much and if it is, it’s in relation to using hormone replacement therapy. Our modern world views menopause as a disease, something that needs intervention - just like pregnancy and puberty with birth control pills and the excessive medical care during pregnancy. Women are basically being treated like our bodies are mistakes and normal phases of life are now all about marketing, pharmaceuticals and unnecessary interventions. Menopause is a natural phase of life that does not require intervention but instead it requires an understanding of your body, giving yourself grace during the process and it should be a time to reflect and slow down, not do more.
