Jamie Bourgeois
Jamie Bourgeois, MSN, CNM, PMHNP-BC, has been in nursing practice since 1997 and brings extensive experience in women’s health, midwifery, and psychiatric nursing. She currently serves as an advanced practice psychiatric nurse practitioner in a community mental health center, providing care to children and adolescents.
Jamie is pursuing a PhD in nursing, with research centered on implicit bias among advanced practice nurses working in perinatal mental health. Her scholarly and clinical work is grounded in liberation health, critical feminist theory, and emancipatory nursing praxis.
She is also the founder and co-host of Nursing the Nation, a podcast that explores current political events and health policy through the lens of nursing science, advocacy, and human-centered compassion for a general audience.
