Sarah M. Levin
Sarah M. Levin is a strategist, lobbyist, and grassroots organizer specializing in secular policy and mobilizing nonreligious Americans. A decade-long leader in the secular movement, she has advised major organizations including the Center for Freethought Equality, Jews for a Secular Democracy, and the Military Association of Atheists & Freethinkers. She spent 2013–2019 at the Secular Coalition for America, serving as Director of Grassroots and later Governmental Affairs. She co-founded Secular Democrats of America and represents the secular community as Co-Chair of the DNC Interfaith Council, where she helped pass landmark resolutions welcoming religiously unaffiliated voters (2019) and condemning white Christian nationalism (2023). She also established the first Secular Caucus in the Texas Democratic Party. A cum laude graduate of American University and former AmeriCorps volunteer, she now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and cat.
