In this episode, Joy invites us to step beyond the rush of daily life and reconnect with the timeless wisdom that exists within us. A sacred space is created where we can release distractions, quiet the mind, and remember ourselves as more than the roles, routines, and stories we carry.

We are also encouraged to connect with our heart, soul, and divine support while exploring what it means to live from creation rather than constant management. Joy gives us insight into how rigid schedules, endless obligations, and habitual thinking can leave us feeling depleted, and offers simple practices for returning to presence, ease, and alignment.

This episode is a gentle reminder that wisdom is not something we need to find. It is something we can access when we pause long enough to listen.

Seeking episodes are about seeking guidance and recognizing the importance of uncovering our truth.

Let's hop into this beautiful sacred space together. Let's hold the energy, hold each other, and then just come into a really clean space. If you can, let go of your fingers, tapping, and doing so that you can now bring your focus into you and hold yourself and offer this time to you as a gift to connect in some way. May it be wonderful, my treasures, and whatever way will help you and support you going further and forward in your life. May that be my darlings. So let's set it up so that what is that? Can we do it? Here comes our bell. Take a deep breath in. Long, slow out breath. And drop drop into this moment. Be present now, my treasures. Focus on you, your heart, your soul. Just for a moment, let go of all the connections that are here, all the stories behind those connections, and come back to just you. Focus on you being in this time, space, and reality. Drop all your awareness into this moment with you. As if you are sitting deeply in the space where you are. However, you are holding your body, hold it gently, quietly. Allow yourself to be free of distractions so that you can open your heart and ask your guides, angels, and divine presence to step a little closer now. Come in now. Support me, hold me in whatever way that I am able to amplify my energy, open up more kindness, flow, and ease, grace in my life. May that move towards me now. As I create this space for that possibility, when we create these moments, when we sit still, then it's so much easier for our guides and divine presence to come close to us. When we are in the space where we are allowing ourselves to be gentle, quiet, and connected, then we are able to create this incredible energy vortex around ourselves. See that now for you, creating this vortex of energy that anchors you to where you are and connects you to all that is. For a little while, feel that vortex of energy swirling around you and imagine that it's feeding you, scanning your energy, scanning your mind and your body. See this as a field of consciousness. Ask your being now to show you what you look like as your light being. If you were to close your eyes and just be very still for a moment, asking for the image of you to come in as your beautiful being of light. You have seen this before because you are this. You are an eternal being of love and light, a traveler through time. And you know yourself and you know thyself, the part of you that is beyond, a part of you that is always faithful to your essence. We might show up with this little facade, this little way of being. That is beyond a time, a state, a place, a reality, history, beyond the concepts, doctrine, dogma, stories that we create that defines where we are in a moment and who we are and how we should and must be. We are something absolutely beyond this. Feel that now. Feel the beyondness of you. Connect that to your heart. Connect yourself back to your light being. Even if a picture doesn't come to mind, keep asking. Show me. Perhaps you'll get glimpses. Perhaps it'll be a feeling or a sound or a vibration or something beautiful in nature that just makes you think, oh gosh, I love that. I wonder why. I wonder why it resonates with me. It's something that anyone else might just look beyond and not notice, but you notice it because it is something that reminds you. What is it reminding you of? In those beautiful connections, ask your being, I wonder what that is. I wonder why it is that I'm so attracted to this, this color, this sound, this vibration, this scene, this person, this perfume, this smell, this delicious num num. I wonder what it is. Please play with that little game. I wonder. We set our mind free to wander into so many more places and spaces in expansiveness now when we set that forth. I wonder. I wonder who I am as a timeless being of light and love. A being that is beyond the clock, the performance and requirements, the routines, the disciplines of a human structure. I wonder who I am when I let go of all the must-should and have-to's, and I don't set myself these routines. But eventually these routines start to run me. It's not me using a routine so that I can find myself in more ease and flow, more disciplined, perhaps. Can't bear that idea for me. Oh, it just never sounds like it's freedom when it's a discipline and some requirement. I can't bear it. But if you can tolerate it and if that soothes you and comforts you, then you do that. But don't, my lovelies, lock yourself in. Always leave a little wiggle room to get out of the very locked structures. So if we could place ourselves in our imagination now in the timelessness of a light space. And we imagine that this timeless light space around us is just that. It's a space that is timeless. It's the most wonderful gift for us to be able to feel that expansion and expressiveness now. Can you feel that, my treasures? Can you get that expansiveness in your heart? And then we let go of the constructs like the little clock. This little tick tock, tick-tock that is reminding us all the time this needs to happen now, this is next, fetch that, do that, repair that, fix that, show up here. We are managing our lives according to that clock and that discipline. But my lovelies, we are being managed inside of that because the requirements never stop. We might think, well, we're going to just have a few. We'll have five. Should we have five? Five little disciplines that we're going to do. Well, make one of them getting out of bed. It's quite a good one. One of them's getting out of bed and another one's getting into bed. Then you've got three more. What are you going to put in those three, my lovelies? What will you put in that are absolutes that you know you're going to do? When every day dawns, these are the things that you're going to do, these five things. Then notice how hard it is to decide what those five things will be. Because for every five things, there's another few hundred tucked into them. The way we do it, the way we should do it, the way we hear other people telling us, but we must do it this way. Or perhaps we watched family members create these structures and we thought, well, this is the way you always have to make your bed, or you never make your bed. Is this one of your have-to's? Find five, my lovelies. Five things that are your absolutes. Watch how many tangles you have inside of those, each and every one of those points. Notice how many, count them. Get out of bed. Okay, that's number one. How many others are attached to that? Get out of bed and then what do you do? To brush your teeth, go to the bathroom, you wash your face, you make some tea, ding-a-ding-a ding-a-ding-a-ding-a-ding. All the little things. Watch the clock because any minute now you've got to go and do the next ding-a-ding-a-ding thing. So you just on this routine, this constant step by step, have to do this, have to do that. Every single step we take is filled with a requirement, something that is telling us that we must show up and perform and do. It's exhausting, my lovelies. We don't realize how exhausting it is until we get to the point where we just don't want to do it anymore. So, how do we manage that? What do we do as humans, darling us? We work like crazy people all year round. And then we give ourselves a week, maybe two if we're lucky, to go on holiday, go on a little vacation. Let's go somewhere lovely, let's go down to the beach and lie on the beach and just become slobs and eat ice cream. It's gonna be fabulous. We'll just do that. When we get there, we take us almost a week just to unwind because we keep looking at our watch. Oh, you've got to do this, got to do that. How challenging it is to stop the doing, the performing. Then eventually we get to the point where we can start breathing and relaxing and actually being where we are, noticing where we are and those around us feeling what it feels like to be in that space. We start connecting with ourself and those around us and the beautiful earth that is holding us. There is something that's happening there that is beyond the stories of our time and schedules and routines. It is a timeless knowing, and there is a timeless wisdom in it. The sun gets up in the day. That alone could be our wake-up call without having to have alarms. But when we go back to our structured life, we need the alarm clocks. Very rude awakening, isn't it? Hmm, could have a hammer and smash the little alarm clocks. Always loved those cartoons. We yank out a great big hammer and smash that little alarm clock. Boing, boing, boing, outcome little bits of spring and it breaks apart. Yes, it's like that. Let go of the structures, the disciplines, the stories whenever you can. Because for everyone that you're creating, there are so many more tucked into it. It's never the one thing that you're doing. There are many other steps that are tangled into it. And all of these put together in a long stream of must-should have-to's. It's an endless agony. No wonder we're so terribly tired. No wonder we're impatient and drawn out. There's nothing left. But don't worry, we've got a holiday coming up in two months' time. Just push really hard. Then you can have a holiday and you don't have to think about anything back home or at work. Let's just do that. We'll focus. We'll get down and we'll have this holiday. Takes forever to unwind. And then that's it. We have to go home. Then depression set in. The awfulness of having to go back to it, the dread, the foreboding. Very few people go back and think, oh, let's go. I can't wait. I'm so excited. If we are, it's because we used our time to dream and innovate, to create. We found a way to expand our existence, to bring back the light and the delighting inside of us. We went into that timeless, wandering, creative space, and we awaken something in us so that we could be in this world with all its pursuits and doing showing up, but we could do it in a way that was delightful and wonderful and in alignment with our being. How are you doing all of this, my lovelies? How are you managing this journey? Are you managing it? Because right there, that is the key word that you must focus on. If you're managing it, it is managing you. If you're creating in it, creativity flows towards you so that you can do this journey creatively. There are two different parts to our brain and thinking, if we just think of it in a very simplistic form. So the right side of the brain, we always say is the more creative and expansive side, daydreaming part of our being. And the left side is very methodical and organized, structured, sequential, get things done, ticket off, very lovely. We have these two different activities going on. But imagine if we just used one side of the brain, then we would have a collapsed cranium. We'd have these elongated heads that dance off to the one side, to the left side. Would be hilarious, wouldn't it? We're all going around looking like lop-headed, crazy people. Wonderful that we have a left and a right. It's telling us, use it. We have the corpus callosum right through in the center, connecting the two, and thoughts can be fired and wired back and forth using our full capacity, not just saving this beautiful creative part of our brain for one or two weeks in an entire year. Every moment, every day, to find the place of the timeless delight where we can step out of the constructs, the doing and the pursuing, must, should, have-to's, and we can find the timelessness and reconnect to the eternal wisdom that guides that. Just stopping and being in nature is going to bring you back into rhythm, and you're going to come back into the beautiful rhythm of nature, waking up when the sun arises, and resting and settling down as the sun releases for that day. There is the time, but we play it in so many other ways, don't we? Because we're busy, busy, busy, busy little bees. Got things to do and achieve. If it doesn't feel playful and lightful, delightful, filled with the divine light, delightful. If it doesn't feel like that, it's just not worthwhile for me. How do you do this? What is your structure? What are your disciplines? What are your spaces of paying attention? How is your mind and body talking to you? Start asking these questions and start asking for yourself to come back to that part of you that is your timeless soul light being. And know that you're here on this life, having this journey in this particular way, so that the light and the essence of who you are can transmit itself into this journey. Connect with all those with whom you can connect in your own unique and sovereign way. There is something that comes through and towards, and that is the transmission, the activation and the opening of our heart, the sending out. See if you can play with that while you are doing, you're busy pursuing life. Then find ways, perhaps, just to stop in between, to reconnect and reconsider, reset and realign. Just a few breaths in the moment when you consider that you are getting tired, when your neck is aching and your back is sloping, and you just stop, drop your shoulders, smooth the skin on your beautiful face. Just try this now. Take a deep breath in. Fill up your being with this life force energy. Feel your tummy, your heart, your throat, your lungs expanding. And each time you breathe out, soften your tummy. Be in the moment with you. In the quietness, find the timeless space. Take all the pressure off you. Imagine that you can create around you a beautiful pod, a ripple of light and love, and allow it to open like a ripple. Make it as wide as you wish it to be. Stay in that capsule of this light energy just for a little while. All the clutter and the doing and all the people, responsibilities, duties and the burdens, the obligations, all of that outside of this field. Speak to your beautiful being from your heart. I'm here replenishing this part of me that is timeless soul wisdom. I'm giving me this opportunity to reconnect to the part of me that is beyond my form and beyond the performing in my form. It is the part of me that is constantly witnessing me in my life. Bring your awareness to that part of you that is witnessing you in your life. Now you've stepped two steps out of your energy field as a human. We notice ourselves, that is one step out. And then from our higher self, we notice ourselves noticing that this is such a delightful place to be able to bring ourselves towards. See if you can begin to play with that. The more you stop in the moments when things are just becoming so compressed and contaminated and edgy, take a breath right there where you are. Just bring a message to your heart. Notice, notice, just notice. Notice what's going on and notice the signals that your mind body are receiving. Notice the signals that you're relaying. And then notice yourself noticing. It's a delicious space to be. When we connect to the part of us that is quite beyond the timeless aspect of our being of love and light. You play this gift when you're ready to go home. Remember this for when you're old. Play it, know it, and understand how to play it now so that it becomes a little bit like a default setting. May your life, your whole journey, be filled with this kind of grace and awareness, the ability to witness, discern, decide. May this journey truly be your most exemplary, your most fabulous journey. Where you start to see yourself not just here moving and shaking and being moved and being shaken, but you're here very much on purpose. So much love to you, my treasures. Thank you for you. So much love. Let's take a breath and come back here.
