Natalie Sanchez

Natalie Sanchez is the Executive Producer, Writer, and Host of Confessions: HIV Positive, a groundbreaking podcast docuseries that elevates the voices of over 35 women and transgender persons with HIV across the U.S. and Latin America. Natalie brings together personal testimony, public health, and cultural insight—centering women whose stories are too often left unheard. Natalie has produced more than 40 health education films. She is best known for Sin Vergüenza, the award-winning telenovela web series that has become a staple in HIV awareness efforts within the Latine community. Natalie’s body of work includes Ask Me About PrEP, Free to Be, and Chasing that are widely used in clinics, conferences, and community programs across the country. A champion of narrative power, Natalie uses film and podcasting not just to inform—but to transform.

Elia Silveyra

Elia Silveyra is a proud bicultural social worker who brings both heart and experience to her work with families impacted by HIV. Born in the United States and raised in Tecalitlán, Jalisco, Mexico. She earned her bachelor’s in Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles in 2003 and completed her MSW at USC in 2011. Elia has built her career across sectors—from child welfare to community health to end-of-life care—but her work with people living with HIV began in 2011, serving older adults in hospice and home health. Since 2012 she has provided trauma-informed, culturally responsive support to women, children, and families affected by HIV at UCLA.  As a contributor to the Confessions: HIV Positive  podcast, Elia brings not only clinical expertise but a deep understanding of storytelling as healing. Her passion lies in creating space for women’s voices—especially those often unheard—and advocating for dignity across every stage of life.

Citlalin Lopez Torres

Citlalin Lopez-Torres is a first-generation Mexican immigrant from Jalisco, Mexico, and a proud graduate of the University of Southern California, where she earned her Master of Public Health in 2022. She currently serves as the Data and Quality Analyst for the UCLA Family AIDS Network, where she is committed to improving access to care for women, infants, children, and youth living with HIV.

Citlalin is also a valued Assistant Producer for the Confessions: HIV Positive podcast, contributing to Seasons 4 -8. Her behind-the-scenes work has been instrumental in shaping episodes that spotlight aging with HIV, PrEP, and family dynamics—all through a culturally responsive lens. Driven by a deep commitment to health equity, she is passionate about amplifying the voices of women, particularly in Latine communities.

Francisco Valdes

Francisco Valdes was awarded a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education, also known as the Jesuit University of Guadalajara in Mexico. He has dedicated 20 years to recording, editing, and musicalizing audio and video for educational mass media.


In addition, Francisco has spent the last 25 years working in the field of HIV in the USA, contributing in various capacities to raise awareness and support for those infected and affected by the virus.

Marilynn Ramos

Marilynn Ramos is a first-generation Mexican American mother of five, community advocate, and Sociology student from the San Fernando Valley. Diagnosed with HIV at 19, she has turned her lived experience into purpose—sharing her journey through homelessness, addiction, and healing. A returning guest on Confessions: HIV Positive Women (Seasons 1, 3, and Reunion Episodes), Marilynn is a Peer Navigator and active member of multiple HIV advocacy groups. Her voice is a powerful reminder that healing is possible, and no one is alone.

Miguel Bujanda

Miguel Bujanda serves as the Chief Executive Officer of REACH LA, a Los Angeles-based Arts and Health Community Based Organization dedicated to serving LGBTQ youth of color. Through his steadfast determination and visionary approach, he successfully revived REACH LA, ensuring its continued impact on the communities it serves. 

Mr. Bujanda's contributions to REACH LA have been multi-faceted. He has introduced innovative programming initiatives, including the implementation of the 340B programming and partnership with QCare, leveraging telehealth to enhance the organization's reach and effectiveness. This initiative has played a crucial role in addressing the social determinants of health, reducing HIV incidents, and promoting the well-being of young LGBTQ people of color.

Born and raised in East Los Angeles to an immigrant family from Mexico, he became the first member of his family to complete college.
