Toby Roney
Toby Roney is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker and expedition specialist drawn to wild places and the people who venture into them. He has created work for brands including Arc'teryx, Garmin and YETI, with imagery featured in Red Bull Bulletin, The New York Times, The Guardian and Sidetracked Magazine.
Curiosity and a commitment to adventure run through everything he does. He has filmed in minus-27°C storms on Iceland's Vatnajökull ice cap, shot from helicopters over erupting volcanoes, and in 2025 joined Ed Jackson in Kyrgyzstan's Tien Shan to document a world-first ascent of an unclimbed 4,720m peak. He also served as director of photography on Generation Shegeng, an Arc'teryx documentary.
Trusted to operate solo across land, sea and air, Toby is Co-Founder of Peak 4122 Media and was named Fort William Mountain Festival Photographer of the Year 2020.
