Jordan I really love the show man. I actually came across rent a girlfriend at random, and was really enjoyed it. So I typed it into podcast and then came across Anime talks. I love the analysis of the show and how you don’t try and be a full on critic about every aspect and instead enjoy the shows. Loved the Code Geass episodes! Thats easily top 2 all time anime for me. I’m sure you’ve seen them, but the movie series on Code Geass is well worth the watch. It is slightly different on timeline, but the way it continues the story with C2 and Lelouch is so awesome. Kinda how you commented you wish rent a girlfriend would give more to Kazu instead of dragging it out, the Geass movies do the opposite for Lelouch in the 4th film. Admittedly, I didn’t even watch the first 3 before I went straight to the 4th movie because I watched it right after the original series. I because the show is so open ended, the 4th movie picks up in an awesome way with the story. I’d love to hear you do an episode on it!! I’d almost recommend watching the 4th movie first and then watching the first 3 at a later time. All this said, keep making the good pods!! It’s a great listen.
