When addiction entered my family, I never imagined the twists, heartbreaks, and small miracles that would unfold. In this episode, I share my personal journey as a mom walking alongside my son through his battle with opioid addiction. From the terrifying nights of detox to the hope found in treatment programs and even incarceration, this story is one of resilience, faith, and love that refuses to give up.
I talk about the importance of getting on the same page as parents, the hidden costs of addiction, and why your own healing matters as much as your child’s. This is not just their fight—it’s yours, too. I also share how faith and community played an unexpected role in carrying us through the darkest moments.
