Hey Rich Girls, Kirby here - Are women abandoning the idea of a traditional marriage with a man because they no longer need to rely on their income? Since the 1970’s, marriage as a whole has been on a steady decline, while women’s median wages have steadily increased over that same time period. Women have only had the right to obtain credit without a male cosigner for the past fifty one years - and that opened up the door to things like home ownership and building or expanding a business.
