Movie nights should be simple, but we somehow turn one watch into a full pop culture pinball machine. We start with real reactions to K-Pop Demon Hunters, why the songs hit harder than they should, and how a “predictable” story can still be a great time when the animation and pacing work. From there we slide into what we’re hyped for next, including thoughts on the Michael Jackson biopic and how these movies choose a “winner’s perspective” whether they admit it or not.
Then we switch gears into an NFL Draft recap with the kind of fan logic you hear at the bar, only with more detail. We talk team needs versus best player available, why the Rams taking a quarterback early is either smart planning or a waste of a win-now window, and what makes a draft feel quiet even when the TV coverage screams urgency. We also get into the money side: rookie contract guarantees, the huge pay gap between picks, NIL complications, and why state taxes can matter more than people think.
We round it out with convention stories and collector culture, from VIP lines and voice actor signings to the merch you swear you won’t buy again until you do. Add in Xbox Game Pass pricing debates, finishing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and one brutal reminder that teeth are expensive, and you’ve got a classic hangout episode with real takes underneath the jokes. Subscribe, share this with one friend who’d actually enjoy it, and leave a review so more people can find the show.

So I finally saw Casey Demon Hunter. And that shit was amazing. Told you.
SPEAKER_04Even even with a nine-year-old frickin' singing line. Yeah, acting like me watching Empire Strikes Back, but still. Shut the fuck up, Lou. You'll find out in a minute. Bruh, I'm sitting here watching, and then I'm like, I'm trying. I'm I'm okay, because she was to my left. I'm like, I'm trying to watch the movie, not you. It's like, damn. That's like trying to clear every movie. That's not you.
SPEAKER_00That's every popcorn movie, dude. When we go in and you sit down and they're like, they the title comes up and everybody's like, it's fucking uh every one of those is like Rocky Horror Picture Show, dude. All you hear is like a bunch of just dudes whispering all the fucking like uh they announced they're doing uh a new hope in January. Um so we'll probably be doing that, but yeah, it'll be an entire room of a bunch of dudes like you serve my father on uh during the Clone Wars.
SPEAKER_02I told you it was good, it's not just for the kids. No, it was it was super predictable, I don't even care.
SPEAKER_01Because the songs are bangers, animation was good?
SPEAKER_04Some of them I'm like, whatever. And then the other ones I'm all like, this is catchy as hell. What that what the fuck, man? I'm just sitting there on the couch because this little one, a little girl than me, left to right, TV in front of us, obviously. Everybody got their feet up on the coffee table, and I'm just sitting there like minding my own business. Actually, you know, I'm like, why am I leg bopping?
SPEAKER_01Because you're getting ready for the takedown. Lou didn't even feel the need to start playing Carcassonne.
SPEAKER_04No, I did not actually. There is a game on my phone that I'm playing that like resets every 20 minutes for some free shit, so I was doing that. But other than that, I was actually paying attention to the movie, so I'll probably watch it again pretty soon here. And now we've just been copyrighted.
SPEAKER_01I think that was true. We played that one many times. We've got a video to get copyrighted.
SPEAKER_02So it's gonna be like midnight showing for K-pop demon hunters too. Let's go. Louis dropped that in the theater.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna go Louie waiting for Tuesday for that. Thursday afternoon.
SPEAKER_04Sorry minus what's my Tuesday movie? Oh, Michael. I'm like, what's up, Tuesday movie?
SPEAKER_01Uh we just watched that tonight. I enjoyed it. I like it. I mean, obviously it's told from the winner's perspective, right? They're not gonna put a bunch of bad shit about Michael in it. Um, but it actually ends in '93-ish.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say they gotta stop like Super Bowl time.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But yeah, no, not even up to that. It was um concert in London. Oh dang.
SPEAKER_04Maybe that's what that's what sequel's for. Make more money.
SPEAKER_01Well, it did end, and it said his story continues. So Jackson coming out in 2029. Michael Jackson.
SPEAKER_04Michael That actually would be kind of cool.
SPEAKER_00Then you get to box it or the whatever with the uh except for DVD covers DVD covers? Except for if we saw it with Jack, it would just be him yelling, that didn't happen to me. This movie says Jackson, I'm Jackson, this is some bullshit. Why did he start out black? Where are my royalties?
SPEAKER_01I'm white as fuck. Whoa, whoa, whoa, I'm not that white. Go back, rewind it back a little bit, Mike.
SPEAKER_02No, that'd be me.
SPEAKER_01No, but they had it started with them being kids and um blowing up and then him wanting to go solo. Uh, they did do the Pepsi fire. I saw that in the trailer. That thriller video.
SPEAKER_04Did they have John Landis, somebody playing John Landis for the theater?
SPEAKER_01They did, but like he was in the shadows, so like you could see his beard from like the side, so you could tell it was him, but it wasn't him. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um I'm looking forward to that one. Yeah, no, it's super entertaining. Yeah. Eddie Vetter. Super entertaining.
SPEAKER_04Um, yeah, so that's Tuesday's movie. Uh, we're gonna do it's late enough where we can like there are there are a lot of showing, so we could have gone right after work for her, but I was like, no, let's let's do dinner first instead of after. So so we'll uh she'll get off. She'll she'll get here about 7.20 or so, 7 30. And then we'll do dinner in the movies at 8 40. So I'm looking forward to that on Tuesday. And actually, uh I I was half tempted to go to a uh secret movie to tomorrow. Uh Regal has one out here, but but Cinemark doesn't, so like, alright, whatever.
SPEAKER_02Let me fuse again.
SPEAKER_04That would be funny, actually. Is it out yet?
SPEAKER_02Did it come out Friday? I don't know.
SPEAKER_04If not, then it might be right.
SPEAKER_02We'll have to do some investigation on it.
SPEAKER_00I think we're gonna do uh over my dead body.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna say I was gonna say, wait, wait a minute, do you back up? Didn't you watch a movie Tuesday? Last Tuesday we saw because I thought it was something we saw because you asked about normal. You watched normal.
SPEAKER_00We watched normal. Normal was good. I mean, it was very, very straightforward. Like it just, you know, it was a nice hour and a half, just moved at a clip the whole time. Like I I appreciated that. The kills were, you know, were there was enough people that you could get away. Like, I feel like sometimes those movies either like every single kill is like upping the ante for the kill before it, or it's just a bunch of people who just get mowed down by machine gun fire, and I think they did a nice job of mixing those two. Uh because they had enough people, but it wasn't like too many people, if that makes sense.
SPEAKER_04No, no, totally agreed. It was like it was like they had the the the the red shirts, then they had the red shirts you knew. So it was like, all right, that's kind of cool.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can I can dig I can dig it. They got Henry Winkler, nobody saw that chick.
SPEAKER_04Okay, yeah, that's so true.
SPEAKER_00At the end outside of Bob Odenkirk, we were like, oh, look, everybody that was in it was basically a glorified cameo. Like, we're like, oh, Lena Hedley was in it. Okay, she was in it for five minutes. Henry Winkler was in it, was in it for five minutes.
SPEAKER_04I was not expecting Lena to only be in it for like three scenes. So that shit was funny.
SPEAKER_00It was like okay it's definitely like a movie I could see them like turning into almost like the anti-John Wick, where like it just so happens every single place he goes to like be the temporary sheriff, and there's some bullshit going on there that he has to like end up get getting in the middle of. Uh die hard.
SPEAKER_01How does the same thing happen to the same guy two years in a row?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And now he's in coral view. But no, I mean, I again it was an hour and a half. They're definitely, you know, you you learn the story that you delete needed to learn, and that was it. They didn't spend a ton of time, like you didn't spend 45 minutes talking about backstory and bullshit that didn't really matter at the end of the day, right?
SPEAKER_02So no, I liked it. It was good. So Yes, it were. Yes, it were.
SPEAKER_04I think that's it.
SPEAKER_03Tuesday, uh Michael, and then Sunday the secret movie, which is likely the shoot detective.
SPEAKER_02Sunday. Because I have to work. Wait, what? You have to work Sunday? Yeah. Next one next Sunday I'm working, yeah. Oh, you're working that overnight she after. Yeah. Also I can get the 29th of May off. Sacrifices you make. Is that what it is?
SPEAKER_04You're cruising first, right?
SPEAKER_01Um, yeah, but like we debark that day. So I guess if worse comes worse, I'd be able to get out of it. Like jump right on a plane. Um but that's also the 29th is when we're supposed to see the Stranger Things play in New York. So it's more important that I get that day off. And since she doesn't listen to the podcast, she won't know. Spoilers.
SPEAKER_00Spoilers for everybody, but not her. Yep.
SPEAKER_04Coco.
SPEAKER_00Teddy, she's gonna be like, I just started watching the podcast. No, you slapping the earpod airpods out of her ears. You have to listen to it in chronological order.
SPEAKER_01This isn't Star Wars. There is no machete order only.
NFL Draft Reactions By Team
SPEAKER_02There is no machete cut. What'd y'all think of the draft for your teams?
SPEAKER_01Um, I I mean, obviously mine was fairly predictable. Yeah. We got Mendoza.
SPEAKER_04Uh got a good cornerback, though. You got a good cornerback, and if his leg holds up.
SPEAKER_01Like, I don't I don't know all the cool stuff like Lou, um, but the articles I did read said everybody was pretty happy with the Raiders.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they had a solid draft.
SPEAKER_03Damn and the Jets.
SPEAKER_02Uh I mean again, mine is a boom or bust, right?
SPEAKER_00If the guy's foot's good, then he could have easily been a top ten pick. And and if he if his foot doesn't end up healing right, then put him up in the the annals of uh bad first round Vikings draft picks. So but and the rest of the draft, I think, I think they addressed a lot of the the big holes. Uh I mean the a bunch of guys will need to step up, but I mean we definitely have the bodies where we need them right now. They they they they seem to fill out the roster pretty well without uh having to uh without having to go out and stretch and get you know free agents now, you know, like any free agents.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I totally get it, man. That's that's how this whole draft was. It was very unexciting, uh, very uneventful. Obviously, a bunch of trades in the first round, second round, blah, blah, blah. Um the only excitement, quote unquote excitement, was the Rams taking Ty Simpson at 13. That was the only thing that at that moved the needle all weekend. There wasn't really anything. It was like, okay, this is a ho-hum draft of I ever seen when even for me, for the Steelers and Giants, um, they got players they needed, and it's fine. Uh, I'm only pissed off at the Eagles, even more so than I've ever been, because they picked Mikai Lemon right before the Steelers.
SPEAKER_01Hey, guess what, Steelers? Gone.
SPEAKER_04Yep. I mean, don't be wrong, it's a good move for this for the Eagles, knowing they're losing AJ Brown to the Patriots next month, uh, or six weeks, when they're illegally allowed to. So they needed to replace it, and Mikhail Lemon is the best uh receiver in the college last year, so uh naturally he went to USC. So uh it's it's it's it was it would have been nice to get him, but you know, getting you know, offensive linemen, the the tackle, getting safety, getting all that stuff was needed. So it's like alright, so I get it, you didn't get the receiver you wanted. Luckily, they got other USC receiver uh in the offseason. It was Michael Pittman. So they got Pittman on one side, DK Metcalf on the other. Makkay would have been a great per uh perfect receiver in the slot. Would have been nice, but it is what it is. Still still not disappointed. It's like, okay, they drafted for Need, it's fine, but no different than every other team that wasn't.
SPEAKER_01As a football fan, you're happy with it. As a Steelers fan, you're mad.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, basically. That's a good way to put it. Uh overall, and and as for the Rams taking Ty Simpson 13, he he get that's taken too high, but it was kind of a good move for the Rams. Well minus a receiver.
SPEAKER_00Well, because Matt Sip Matt Stafford isn't getting younger.
SPEAKER_04Nah, man.
SPEAKER_00And and now this gives them an opportunity to have the person who they potentially think is their quarterback of the future on the team without any urgency to start him.
SPEAKER_04Like Right, it's the Green Bay Packers method.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. So it a hundred when they they were like, oh my god, I can't believe they took him. And I'm like, if that was the guy, if that was their guy, right? If this is if this is part of their three-year plan, right, is that this year Matt Stafford will play, because I think they just didn't they just resign him for two years?
SPEAKER_04Well, I think last year or like three, and he already said he's coming back, so it's like, all right.
SPEAKER_00But you give you give Ty Simpson a year to sit on the bench and learn from Matt Stafford, who's been in the league for fucking ever and has tons of experience under his belt. The following season, you say, okay, well, Matt Stafford's going into his Swansong year, depending on how they do, as far as the team goes, like, you can either then elevate Ty Simpson if you think he's ready, and if not, you give him another year.
SPEAKER_04Like, I mean, you're basically giving him that's that all all that makes sense if you're like a middle-of-the-pack team. The Rams are not, they were a game away from Super Bowl. So the the the flip side, the the counter-argument here is and I is you you take what you need right now, and you don't do the Green Bay Packers, let's fuck over um Brett Favre, let's fuck over Aaron Rodgers, let's get the Rams are ready to win now, so give me a piece that's gonna help me win now. Give me a first round receiver. And here's the thing with Puka Nakua and his problems and him might being suspended and him uh can't keep his mouth shut, you might need a top receiver. They should have gone receiver on on 13. Um and take honestly, they should have taken Makai at 13, knowing that Devonta is getting older, knowing that Puka Um may not be playing if he doesn't get his shit together, knowing all this that helps you win now. Ty Simpson does absolutely nothing for your team for the 2026-2027 season. So you look at it that way, and it's like, okay, again, the same problem Favre had when they took Rogers, the same problem Rogers had when they took Love. Um, it's like, wait a minute, we could win now, and you took a quarterback to be the backup in a few years instead of giving me a defense or a receiver or whatever that we could have now. That's the downside of that. If I'm Stafford, I'm a little bit pissed off that you didn't give me a weapon or strengthen the defense, whatever it's gonna be. You're like, oh, we're gonna draft somebody who's not even gonna start until year two at the soonest. So I there's there's there's ways to look at it. I I get both sides. I would be in a win now mode. I would not have gone with, let's make sure, oh, we're gonna be okay this year. We don't know how we we don't know if we get over the hump of whatever, but we're gonna be a playoff team this year. And like, being a playoff team don't mean shit to me. Being a contender is what you want to be. And they had an opportunity with the 13th pick to get a top, whether it be defensive tackle, uh, your your your your uh Donald replacement, or again, a replacement for Puka, all these things you know could be happening. I mean, handle your business. But they're playing for the future instead, and if they think ties the guy, then if that was your play, trade out of 13, move it out to 19, and get him at 19 with more draft capital to fill the other holes. You know what I mean? Play that. Granted, we we can say that, and it's easy for us to say that, but you have to have a dance partner, right? If nobody wants to trade up to their team, then what are you gonna do?
SPEAKER_00Because it didn't seem like there were any huge moves, or at least moves that were like I don't know. It seemed like this year the draft, the draft class itself seemed really quiet.
SPEAKER_04Like Well, the draft class itself was. It was there was no probably 15 people, everybody else was at yeah, and so you know, I mean I'm good luck to very weak draft class top to bottom.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Number one to Mr. Irrelevant, it was it was a weak draft class. Next year is gonna be gonna be strong.
SPEAKER_02So but good luck to them. Hopefully their plan works out.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, for real, man. I mean, they they they're getting paid millions for a reason. I'm not. So yeah, I was but like I said, I was pissed off when it happened to Aaron Rodgers. Uh as much as I hate the Packers, uh, it was a bad football decision, and it proved it. I mean, simple as that. They did not get back to the Super Bowl. It's like, oh, if only they had this.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, well, if you wouldn't have drafted that quarterback, you could have had that. But whatever.
Rookie Pay Scale And NIL
SPEAKER_00I will we went out uh this week in Portland was Pizza Week. So a bunch of pizza places had like kind of custom. They kind of let the chefs go wild as far as the type of pizzas they want to make, and they can make them for the week, and it's sponsored, and it's you know, each slice is four dollars and stuff like that. It's uh it's a pretty good deal. It's kind of fun. There's like 40, 45 places around that you can go and do uh get food. So they do this throughout the year, they'll have a drink week, a burger week, taco week, a wings week. Like um, and some of these places get pretty crazy. We went to one the place we went to on Thursday, uh, they were doing Ruben. It was like a Reuben sandwich. So it had um Thousand Island dressing on it as the sauce and pieces of pastrami, onions, uh, the whole the whole Ruben action. Uh it was pretty good. But my friend had never watched, like, wasn't super familiar with the draft, so he was asking me a bunch of questions, and it was things like uh, oh, you know, how do they figure out how they're gonna get paid? And I was like, Oh, there's a sliding scale, and you know, so I broke out the book and I was Mendoza is gonna make fifty-four million dollars his first three years, regardless of what happens. Like he he might shut the bet and he will make fifty-four thousand dollars, fifty-four million dollars over the next three years. Then in year four, they could figure out if they're gonna keep him or not. And then from there, typically that is a year that they're using to negotiate for a longer-term deal, or they could just cut him after three years, no, no harm, no foul.
SPEAKER_04Um there's a fourth and fifth year option, actually, for the top.
SPEAKER_00I was gonna say no, it's different, but but yeah, I was we were we came in in the second half of the first round, and it was surprising to be. I I'd forgotten how much of a difference there was, even just between the first draft pick and like the 18th draft pick, the amount of money. I mean, it's like 30 million dollars. It's kind of crazy. Um, like Mendoza's gonna do like 54 million, and then like the 19th draft pick, whoever it was when we were watching the draft, is only guaranteed like 19. I'm like, so that's why their goal, you know. But then I was like, but then you've got the NIL, you have all the other things that now kind of complicates things and makes things um, you know, for college players, that type of thing.
SPEAKER_02So it's a lot different than it was even like five years ago.
SPEAKER_04Not to mention, mention where you go, which of the six, I think there's six, six teams that don't have state taxes.
SPEAKER_02You go to California, New York, you're fucked. Mendoza's Vegas, baby. Yep, Mendoza's living large.
SPEAKER_04He gets to keep no state tax, he's good.
SPEAKER_00Well, and he was even asking, like, what how do you decide if people go in the green room or stay home? And I'm like, I think a lot of that is up to the player. I think a certain number of players get invited to the green room, and but they have the decision on whether or not they actually go to the green room or if they stay home with their family. Some people, this is their chance. Like this is the thing that their family, their friends, everybody has been supporting them for the last 22 years. Like, they want to be home when that when that phone call happens, you know, with everybody. They don't want to just be at in was it was it St. Louis's year?
SPEAKER_04No, it's Pittsburgh.
SPEAKER_02Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh. Um set a record for attendance. Um but there ain't shit else to do in Pittsburgh.
SPEAKER_00He's like, How are they how how do they pick it? He was like, How do they get paid for who gets to go in the little corrals? And I go, I think they pay for it. I think the pe right?
SPEAKER_04Those are like tickets that the team they they invite you wait who wait how do who gets like the people the fans?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the fans. Like the fans. Oh yeah. What's the you know, because he's like, well, because we of course we walk in and sit down and the fucking all the Cowboys fans are going crazy because, you know, they seem to think they're gonna win something. Which them boys. Um team. Um, I I said I think they they offer it up to um I I think a lot of teams they have their own um different ways of handling it. I'm sure they probably give you an offer through like if you're a season ticket holder and that type of thing. But they also want the people who are the most rabid, so it wouldn't surprise me if they had special invites sent out to the people that are always on the TV and the people who are, you know what I'm saying? Like if you're a member of the black hole, then you get an invite, right? Type of thing. Because they don't want just a bunch of Joe Schmoes like us showing up, maybe wearing our jerseys and going like, ooh, like we're like this the whole time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. Yeah, yeah. So that's a good one though. I don't know how they do that.
SPEAKER_01Um if only we had somebody that lived in a town that had a draft recently and he paid attention.
SPEAKER_04I know. If if only, if only. Um yeah, whole hum ho hum draft overall. We'll see how it out, as always, we'll see how it plays out. Who's gonna be the bust, who's not, who's gonna be the fifth rounder that becomes a freaking Hall of Famer. Yeah, always fun.
SPEAKER_00The undrafted free agent.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was gonna say, I know a lot of teams, as soon as the draft is over, they're already making calls signing people. And then you got uh who was it? Tavia or something, dude who was a Heisman trophy finalist that didn't even get drafted.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I think they said he's the first one to not be drafted since 2014.
SPEAKER_02Damn. Isn't he like a dick or something though? I was reading something about it.
SPEAKER_04Well, he went to Vanderbilt, I think, so yeah. I saw I saw the the Men That Made America or the People That Made America, whatever that was called, like the Food That Made America.
SPEAKER_00I feel like the version of Men Who Made America and the one that actually everybody's now thinking of were completely different.
SPEAKER_02Hmm. Probably that is fact. Lou had to go through the double the the swinging doors in the back of the video store to watch that one.
SPEAKER_04I mean, it was usually a curtain, but whatever. Uh oh man. But yeah, you mean you kinda have to be an ass.
SPEAKER_02You're fucking pretentious as fuck on a manner. But yeah, so meh, draft is what it is.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we'll know in a year. I think this is the most disconnected I've been from the draft. Usually I'm at least paying a little attention around the combine and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04But I just was like, You didn't miss shit. You didn't you didn't miss shit. I'm gonna tell you that right away. Uh I I do not watch the combine, I think it's a waste. You know, you got the underwear Olympics, and I don't care about the underwear Olympics. So uh I've never um Okay, that's fair. They they do one of these, they do they do a combine for I was gonna say beach volleyball, then okay. I was gonna say WNBA, but I'm trying to think of women's sports. Women's soccer, usually some good-looking girls, women's soccer, especially. Well, yeah, they gotta have good legs, so that goes up to the them sweet, yeah, but them the Swedish girls, them freaking European girls, who they are fine to playing soccer, versus you know, we get Megan Rappino and the Swedes, you know, they got the whole team. Shit.
SPEAKER_02All of them look better than Megan Rapino. Or Rapino, whatever you want to call it. Whatever.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that that hates everything and is a waste of space.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, her. Let's see.
SPEAKER_00What do I have on my podcast?
WrestleMania Talk And ESPN Deal
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I was gonna say, I'm gonna set her ass on fire. LGBTQ.
SPEAKER_00Did you hear any good stories of people getting arrested at uh uh WrestleMania this year? Um yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's a good question.
SPEAKER_01As far as I know, it was nice and calm. I did hear tickets got super cheap right before the show.
SPEAKER_00I know. I think I texted you. I was like, I we totally could have went. I mean it's how they not sell out. I don't know, dude. I don't know what happened. Dude, it was yeah, everything was WrestleMania?
SPEAKER_04I mean, come on.
SPEAKER_00Everything I read, um, everything I read, like the build and everything for it, was just awful. Like a lot of the matches were kind of trash. They the first night it was four hours, and they only had like an hour and a half of wrestling. They had like two and a half hours of commercials and ads. Like yeah. Uh I guess it was a little pay-per-view, they wouldn't need ads. Yeah. I guess I guess on the second night it was a little better, but still very like some of the matches were like wait, wait, wait, wait, back up.
SPEAKER_04It's not pay-per-view.
SPEAKER_00No, not even as always. It's on yes, actually this year it was on ESPN. ESPN just signed like a multi-billion dollar contract with them earlier this year, so they took it away from Peacock. Wow. So$375 million over like eight years, I think? Something like that.
SPEAKER_01You can tell ten-year-old Jack that you can watch WrestleMania for free.
SPEAKER_04I was like, wait, what? Yeah, go back to pay-per-view, man.
SPEAKER_02I'd be pissed if I'm watching commercials all let's see. Let me let me double check their price. Uh price for what? Price of um what they paid for the rights.
SPEAKER_04Whatever it is, it's too much. Paramount, I I don't know. I think they probably will make money off of the UFC. Uh right. People I'm not into that shit, but a lot of people are. Almost everybody I know, like out here, uh, they would rather watch that. And I haven't heard shit about boxing in like a decade, man. Nobody pays attention.
SPEAKER_01It's not real. Yeah, nobody nobody cares about boxing anymore.
SPEAKER_04Mm-mm. UFC absolutely kicked them down, uh, stomped on them, uh, meah, teabagged them the whole thing, man.
SPEAKER_02Uh let's see. ESPN has secured.
SPEAKER_00ESPN has secured the U.S. streaming rights to WWE's major premium live events, PLEs, including WrestleMania and SummerSlam, through a five-year deal worth more than$1.6 billion, which averages out to$325 million per year. This agreement, which begins in 2026, represents the significant increase from the previous rights holder, NBC Universal Peacock, which paid approximately$180 million to$200 million annually for the same package. Shouldn't that shouldn't that be$3.22 million a year for five years?
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it should be$320 million if it's$1.6 billion.
SPEAKER_00Uh it averages to they said it's averages to$325 million.
SPEAKER_02But that's wrong.
SPEAKER_04It has to be$1.625.
SPEAKER_03For it to be$125. Because$320 times whatever.
SPEAKER_00Yahoo says$1.6.
SPEAKER_04So Yeah,$1.6 divided by 5.
SPEAKER_023.2. So 320. Yeah. Did I say 1.5? I meant 1.6, sorry. My bad. Huge difference.
SPEAKER_04You said 1.6. 1.6 billion divided by 5 is 320 million a year. But the article is saying 325. They're wrong. That's what I'm saying. Unless it's not 1.6 and it's 1.8.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the AI was wrong. I was just reading. I was just reading the AI blurb. So the A the AI.
SPEAKER_04Oh, okay. All I know is I'm hearing Homer Simpson yelling out of his car. Nerd. Math nerd. That's what I hear right now.
SPEAKER_02I don't care. That shit was bugging me. That numbers ain't right. Who taught this guy how to count?
Convention Autographs And Guest Encounters
SPEAKER_04Uh oh, backtrack. Jumping all over from 30 minutes ago. Um, was was your K-pop demon hunters convention signatures the voice actors or the singers?
SPEAKER_01Voice actors.
SPEAKER_04Okay. And one of them was a was a brat? Is that what you mean?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, she wasn't like super personable. She's like, hi, sign, and that was it. But the other two, um, they talked to her, asked her her name, asked her her baby's name, asked how many times she's seen the movie, what her favorite song was. But yeah, no, the girl that played Zoe, she's just like, meh.
SPEAKER_00Goodbye, little white child. She probably didn't want to be there in the first place. Maybe she was having an off day.
SPEAKER_04That's possible.
SPEAKER_00We, I mean, if you want to dig through all of our conversations, I'm sure every single Comic Con and or celebration that we've been to, someone was kind of an asshole at some point. Even if they're not generally an asshole, right? Like Billy D.
SPEAKER_02This is true.
SPEAKER_00But I met Billy D. But I met Billy D. Billy D. Yeah. Billy D. But Billy D.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, no. I didn't I didn't deal, I didn't deal with them. Watching him with other people, I was like, man, he's he's like a dick.
SPEAKER_00Well, I think I mean, especially at this point, you know, when he came over to the diorama when we did uh Cloud City fucking 10 years ago. At this point, eight years ago, something like that. Uh we had we talked over to we had him uh one of the people in the group went and talked to him and had him his handler and had him come over for a picture. And like he had no idea what was going on. Like, and that was eight years ago. So I'm sure at this point, Billy has, you know, and I'm and that's not I'm not saying anything because I'm not saying anything bad about Billy, but Billy's just old as fuck, like, and I'm sure his connection to the you know day-to-day life and you know the the material world we all live in.
SPEAKER_04I'm just saying. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
SPEAKER_00How long have you been old, Lou?
SPEAKER_04Because I don't think I've ever known you to not say I I turned I turned I turned 50 in 1981. So yeah.
SPEAKER_02So that tracks.
SPEAKER_01But it was cool. I mean, it it was a good little con.
SPEAKER_00Um was it a was it a K pop Demon Hunters con, or was it a No, it's actually a local con that they only have here.
SPEAKER_01It's called Level Up L V L U P.
SPEAKER_00I guess I missed us having a conversation about that.
SPEAKER_01It's a gaming and anime con. Okay. So they have a bunch of video game voice actors, um, and it was super brief conversation, dude.
SPEAKER_04You didn't miss much. We it was like mentioned once, like when Jack got tickets, something like that. It was like in passing, and we really haven't talked about it since. So you didn't miss anything. You're good.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, my oldest wanted to go, so I was like, whatever. I gotta go to a con, darn. Sucks for me. Um but it took a lot of things. Yeah, I was super happy when they said they were coming.
SPEAKER_02And they actually showed up. Assholes. Right. Instead of making me waste an hour fucking walking back and forth. Up and down, up and down. Um, but it was cool.
SPEAKER_01So the Star Wars Little One had baseball from one to two, and we went right after that, and we stayed till closing at eight. We got five, six hours.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, I was gonna say about five hours or something.
SPEAKER_01Okay. And then um the Star Wars Autography Universe was there for um because they managed some of the talent, I think. And they were doing um um kids.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, who was there?
SPEAKER_01Um so we went over there because I get free ones because I I mean they're a VIP thing. So I was able to get the girls' pops all certified for free instead of like ten dollars each or whatever. And um Michael Rooker was right there. That was like six six thirty. That man was already drinking the brown liquor at his table. Nice. Um, but I would expect Sean Gunn was next to him and Michaela Hoover. Um, if you watch One Piece, she voices the the one with the red hat. The dog.
SPEAKER_02No, I don't watch One Piece.
SPEAKER_04But she's also she voices that boy.
SPEAKER_02Terra Strong is Ben Ten.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say that's kind of common actually, now I think about it.
SPEAKER_01Um but she also did Teefs in uh Guardians 3, the rabbit with the the Jaws. Oh they had all three of them together, and then just a bunch of anime actors. Um Has Been Hotel was like a big thing this year.
SPEAKER_04Oh god, that's that's been a big thing to do.
SPEAKER_00I'm looking over the special guest list and I'm like, nope. I'm sure I'm sure some of these people have probably done voice work and stuff that I've watched and enjoyed, but nope.
SPEAKER_01I yeah, it's it wasn't a lot that even I knew of like I've always kept an eye on it. I think I went there one year for Terra Strong to get an autograph, like it was an in and out kind of thing. Um but yeah, I I think that's only the first or maybe second time I've gone. But it was cool. And then um like I sent you guys that picture. I joined the uh the Wild Bill's Colt. Nice. Now I got now I got me a$60 soda can for I was about to say. I almost want to get the 70 because it had level up expo on it, but I'm like, I don't like it that much. And it was one of the bigger ones that doesn't have a lid. So I wanted one with oh that's harder.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's harder. I mean, because mine doesn't have a lid, and it's the smaller one, you know, it's not too small. Right. A lid would be nice. I ain't gonna argue that. But the dude, the fact that every con they go to, you just have to pay seven bucks, seven to ten bucks a day, and two two time two refills at a pace for itself. Yep. So cool.
SPEAKER_01I mean, and and I'll be clanking it at Comic-Con, yep. Yep, yep. STCC, they're there. I got my Roosevelt's bag, I'll clip I'll get a carboner hook, clip it right to my strap.
SPEAKER_04Ah, that's funny.
Expo Floor Finds And Merch
SPEAKER_00But the con the hall and everything, like the exhibit hall was kind of cool and stuff. Was it pretty standard?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I spent the yeah, it was. Um they had a good artist alley. Yeah. The South Hall. They took up the entire South Hall. It was crazy. Um, but they had a big setup for just like video games, just like video game stations, different kinds of games. They had a tattoo booth. Everybody's getting tattoos and shit.
SPEAKER_04That seems to be a thing lately.
SPEAKER_01Um, they had a bar area where you can get drinks. Loosen those geeks up a little bit from being weird. Uh speaking of, it wasn't very stinky. I've been to stinkier cons. So that was kind of that'll sound right.
SPEAKER_02The cosplay was pretty good.
SPEAKER_01Um McFarlane was there. They had the McFarlane Toys was there. They were showing off their Marvel Rivals figures and their mortal combat line.
SPEAKER_02Um BB Create was there, so I bought one of everything.
SPEAKER_01And then X Death Stark pins. Like, I guess I guess Death Stark pins.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Because they had the six pack or something, right? It was like six pins.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no. So it was um it was the Circus Circus marquee, and it has a lenticular at the bottom. It says loose slots, and then like something about their buffet. So that's kind of cool. There was a Darth Vader and a t-shirt with uh like a yard glass and a hat. Uh the Death Star behind the new archway um over by Stratosphere. Uh BB8. One had a Raiders jersey, one had a Raiders hat. He didn't show that online. I didn't know that until I got there. And then he had two Golden Knight hockey sticks with lightsaber handles. I think one was Vaders and one is the Skywalker, uh, the fixed Skywalker one, when Ray had it and had the bandage around it. So he added pins.
SPEAKER_00Nice. Or had maybe it was one of the I mean, maybe it was like the um uh maybe it was like the uh beach shirt at Comic-Con where they weren't sure if they were gonna have it, and then they ended up having it. So they didn't want to announce it before. Oh, and Godzilla playing craps.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say there was a Godzilla one too, but I don't remember I didn't pay attention to what he was doing. I saw Godzilla and quickly moved past it when you sent the pick.
SPEAKER_01So I got all those. I talked to him, I warned him about Lou. I said, me and my buddies, we follow you guys around when you show up. When you buy your pins. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No, I forgot that he didn't show up at Royal City until D just mentioned it. Um, I mean, don't get me wrong, next time I see that bitch, I'm gonna be like, what the fuck, dude? I walked around for an hour. Careful, he's a cholo from LA. Don't fuck with them too hard.
SPEAKER_04He's a cool dude, too. Come on now.
SPEAKER_00Dude, I'm from Portland.
SPEAKER_04I deal with the next month. I'll bring that up.
SPEAKER_00I deal with cracked out homeless people every day, dude. I'm fine. I got this shit. He don't even he don't even know. He'll look at me and he'll be like, oh, you're a Portland softie, and then blah blah. It'll be like Downy bitch, what?
SPEAKER_04Nah, he won't he won't he won't think you're a softie. You you live in a liberal city. He he'll he'll know it's not good.
SPEAKER_01He'll be fine. But good news is his San Diego daily pins are gonna be Marvel, not Star Wars.
SPEAKER_04Oh, that saves us some money.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Save saves Lou a couple fist fights at the time. He said he will have Star Wars pins like exclusives, but his dailies are gonna be more are gonna be Marvel this time because of Doom's Day.
SPEAKER_00Makes sense. I mean that totally makes sense. It really does. It does. Yeah. And they might be cool. I mean, depending on what he does, they might be cool enough to pick up.
SPEAKER_01But he said that they are going to be comic panels to kind of like tell like a little story, but not so much that you have to have all of them. And then on the last day you get like a bigger panel or something.
SPEAKER_00Like one of the instead of just the it'll be like burp, burp burp and then it'll be like burp type thing. That would make sense, right? Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Or when I guess it'd be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Yeah. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, then burp. Or will that be the one for collecting all the rest of them, right?
SPEAKER_01That's the one, it's the reward, yeah. Okay. For getting all of them. And then you can buy the other one.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and then there's usually a like like no, was it 3PO, the comic book corner?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the punch it chewy. Yeah, they've been doing those for what, two years now?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00At least some a variant of those, right? They've had two different versions of them.
SPEAKER_04When I see him, when I see him next month, I'm gonna ask him, like, those of because because I I'm a Patreon member and I get a monthly pin for$1636 a month. I'm gonna ask him, like, dude, is there a way to get us like front-of-the-line opportunities for your Patreon members? We're supporting you and all this shit. So I hook it up.
SPEAKER_00Well, and you also gotta find out what his Rose City pin was because they never even announced it. I just saw that he was gonna be there.
SPEAKER_04You know what? Okay, yeah, I'm gonna write that shit down because I'm gonna I'm gonna mention Jack Jack in Vegas, and I'm gonna yep, and I'm gonna mention uh Duke walking around for an hour. Yummy, my boy, you forced exercise on him. That's some bullshit.
SPEAKER_01Right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_04He got forced on me, so. Uh huh. So what you doing?
SPEAKER_00And what if I was thinking they'd moved booths or something? Something like that, but the problem was nobody even knew. Like, by the time we got to the point of somebody saying, Oh, like they're not here, I was like, and the only reason they knew that was because they looked up his Instagram and they had promoted something they were doing in Ontario or some shit that weekend. And I'm like, that's cool, but just let some people know. Like, we care about this shit, we track this down, you know. Yep. Or it makes it hard if they're if they claim they're coming back this year to Rose City, my like anticipation is gonna be way lower because of what I went through last year, you know.
SPEAKER_02But rant over. Right.
SPEAKER_01Um, I mean we lost. Oh no, go ahead, finish Jack.
SPEAKER_04Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So then, if you know my oldest, you know we had to do artist alley the long way.
SPEAKER_04Wait, wait, wait. There's no such thing as a long way, is that up and down everywhere? No way.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_04Yes, that is the way. There is no long way. We've got every single booth. Okay, now that's the long way.
SPEAKER_01She claims that I still spent more money at BB Create than she did, but I think it might not be.
SPEAKER_04That's on.
SPEAKER_00So what is the type of stuff she's looking for? Is she looking for particular licenses, or is she just looking for art that she likes? You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_01Some of it is just stuff that she likes. Okay. Um what I get her. She got there's a new back in my day when we only had 151 Pokemon, there's a new Pokemon called um fuck, I don't know. That's a weird name. But it has uh like a marijuana leaf on its head, on its face. So she got some of that stuff. Um Jeff from Marvel Rivals. Strangely unexpected. There was no Stranger Things stuff. Not even the animated things.
SPEAKER_04Well, it's over, so it makes sense.
SPEAKER_02No. Oh no, the cartoon just came out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there's a cartoon hotness again.
SPEAKER_04There's a cartoon? Yeah. I ain't even saying T and V that's much, I don't care.
SPEAKER_00Sprigget's funny. Sprigatito. Sprigatito that becomes Flora Gato that becomes Meow Scarenda.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, it has a pot leaf on her forehead. Yep. Yeah. And then there's a dinosaur one, a duck, a pig, Princess Leia. Like a doe creature. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00There's a lot more, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like I said, 151. We're good. So you were looking for my day, Evie only had like four evolutions.
SPEAKER_00So you were looking for sprigatito.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Tito. So she got like a phone charm of that. And then there was one booth that sold like this jar that had like a black widow in it or something. It's like, oh, that's cool. That's like um Vecna from Stranger Things. She didn't ask she didn't want it, so then we kept wandering, and she went back later and she's like, no, I do want it. Because it is is very similar, right? Since she gets home and looks the guy up on Etsy, and it was inspired by that weirdo keeping black widows in the jar. So she did find her Stranger Things purposely on accident. So we got to use the VIP lines for the autographs and stuff. Do you just put pre-register it?
SPEAKER_02Five hours? Was that enough? I would have liked more walking time.
SPEAKER_01The autographs took a bit. Um but I mean we saw we s we accomplished what we wanted to going there, right?
SPEAKER_00But if you would have done ten to eight, that would have been more ideal. Because then you could have gotten the autographs done in the morning and then the afternoon could have just been all walking. Yeah. Exactly.
SPEAKER_04For the uh K-pop, was were the three of them together, you had three separate lines.
SPEAKER_01They were three separate lines, but they were next to each other.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, next to each other, but you but you couldn't just get in through one and then like Comic Con, you know, you go down the oh wow. So get one and getting back the line of the next one.
SPEAKER_00Mm-hmm. Were the VIP line's too bad, or the VIP line's pretty good?
SPEAKER_01It wasn't horrible. The first one we stood in line for was Mira, the pink-haired K-pop demon hunter. She had like my favorite.
unknownRight?
SPEAKER_01My favorite. I was like, why is nobody here for her? Um, and then we were in line for Zoe, and then we sent the oldest over to wait in line for um for Rumi. She had a crazy long line. We were able to finish Zoe, and we still waited like another half hour with big one in the other line. At least. Uh, how is it? I mean, there's good and bad. I mean, like I said, they interact with the kids, right? Like little kids be loving them. There's a lot of grown-ass men up in it, though. Getting their own stuff signed. I'm like, bro, you don't even have any kids with you, weirdo. At least hire some kids for the day. Get a beard or something. Jesus. Get a little eight-year-old beard.
SPEAKER_04Uh yeah when I went to go see the My Little Pony movie.
SPEAKER_00See? How do you feel the organization was? Like I I'm always curious about non-kind of Comic-Con because I know for Rose City it was it was very confusing. Like when I was trying to figure out BBA BB Create stuff. Like I went to the information booth and they had no idea. And they took me over to this other booth that was like, you know, so like it was to me, it was like way more complicated than it should have been. So how do you feel about the layout and mapping and that type of thing?
SPEAKER_01Well, I guess first thing in the morning on Saturday, it was a huge clusterfuck for getting badges and stuff. Like people were online for hours upon hours before even getting inside. Um, thankfully, we didn't get there till afternoon, so I didn't have to wait in the line. Um and they made us scanner badges like Comic-Con. That was crazy.
SPEAKER_02That's surprising.
SPEAKER_01Did they make you even for a designer con?
SPEAKER_02No. You just walked in.
SPEAKER_01But there's no names on the badges, so I mean you could just give it to somebody. Like tomorrow.
SPEAKER_00Walking out, you could have sold it for 50 bucks or whatever for sending.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Um, but no, I I thought it was organized well. Everything was fairly clear. They have their own app that you download and uh it has all the the maps and the and the guests and everything. So I would have thought.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I mean it's like their tenth year or something, so Is it all reading?
Beer League Softball Pet Peeves
SPEAKER_02Damn. Read to learn a few things. They're too busy selling our information to ICE. Man, I that okay, that that's the only good thing about read. So how was softball, Dee? Are you did you almost die?
SPEAKER_01Did your chest get tight?
SPEAKER_00Nope, I'm good. My shoulder hurts, but it's fine. Uh I went two for three, but we lost in the last inning. So first softball game of the year. So bitches. That's fine. We were playing against one of those teams that only cares about winning. So like, for example, they I caught the whole game. I played catcher, and um they have a rule where if you get thrown four straight balls, uh, you have the option to reset instead of just take the walk. And reset basically just sets you back to 0-0. Because again, they want you to hit, they don't want people walking. Right, right. These guys had like four opportunities throughout the game where you know the guy, the guy pitching was his first time pitching like in a long for a long period of time. Like he's pitched a couple other games where he's only pitched like a couple innings. Um, so this was he had to pitch the entire game, and there were like four opportunities for them to reset, and they took the walk every time. And the umpire was like, I was every time I just rolled my eyes, and the umpire was like, Yeah, this is the first game where I've had that many walks in a regular game. Like playoffs, totally different. Playoffs, I totally get it, because that's you know, you're actually playing for something. We're not playing for fucking anything right now.
SPEAKER_04Like it's you're you're just showing you're playing for playing playoffs.
SPEAKER_00No, every the thing is everybody I out of the 10 years I've been playing, there's only been one year that they haven't put everybody in the playoffs every time. So you either get in the upper bracket or the lower bracket. So everybody gets playoffs. It just depends on where you end up as far as you're playing for CD. But but even then, it's there's not enough again, the teams aren't good enough. Like, again, this is supposed to be beer league. It's just supposed to be fun. Like, there's a place in Portland, there's a place in Portland called There's a place in Portland called Delta Park where like if you want to be competitive and you want to play against other people that are competitive, you go there. If you're just playing in like a casual league like this, like fucking just hit the ball, man. Like you're paying$150 to walk. That's stupid. That's stupid. Fucking hit the ball. Like, right? Take a reset. It's fine. You get guess what? You get another four pitches. And guess what? If he throws you four more bolts.
SPEAKER_04If you suck at hitting, take the walk.
SPEAKER_00These guys did not suck at hitting. That was the thing. It was guys, it was guys like these guys come up and they got the fucking cut-off sleeves and the sliding pants and the fucking backwards hat and the like.
SPEAKER_02They'll have mullets. Men and women. I'll take the walk, man. Fuck that.
SPEAKER_03I'd get bored. It's like, man, I ain't doing another fucking set of pitches. I'm out. I'll be on first.
SPEAKER_01And it's like, nope, I'm sh I struck the fuck out. Leave me alone. I'm going back to the band. Yep.
SPEAKER_00Lou doesn't want to go on base. He'd just strike out. He'd just swing the he'd swing three times on the first pitch and be like, okay, am I done here? Can I go?
SPEAKER_04Right. That shit hit the ground before it got to me, and I still swung. I didn't care.
SPEAKER_00Vlad Guerrero. That's a ship. Lou Guerrero. He threw it to first base to get the lead.
SPEAKER_01And Lou still swung at it.
SPEAKER_05For Louis. He tried to do a pickoff play and that's the same thing.
SPEAKER_00I got the ball. I got the out.
SPEAKER_04Hey, don't get me wrong. When I was in Japan and I played, was it T-ball, coach pitch, little league. So the all three years in that row. I was an all-star in all three. Um and uh a center fielder and coach pitch, and then minor league was uh shortstop. And I was pretty damn good. Uh better defense than I was offense, but still pretty damn good. But I just didn't enjoy it, man.
SPEAKER_01It was like because you're better at catching balls than giving them out.
SPEAKER_02Always.
SPEAKER_04That's why Duke and I clashed. You heard him say it, he's a catcher.
SPEAKER_00Yep. And Lou is not a pitcher. We we established that in Japan.
SPEAKER_04We did.
SPEAKER_02I did not get Arabian goggles one time the entire trip. Oh man.
SPEAKER_04Football is the only no, that's not true. Soccer. Football and soccer were the two I enjoyed the most. I basketball, I played one year and was like, nope, this is not for me. I couldn't hit enough people. I kept felling out. So they stopped playing me. 45 seconds in.
SPEAKER_00Lou six fit six six foul. He's out. That's the locker room.
SPEAKER_04For real though. It was like it's like, look, if I hit him, they're gonna get scared to come up on me, so they're gonna shoot piss poorly.
Broken Tooth And Dental Bills
SPEAKER_02It was a good psychological strategy. What else you got for us, Jack? Let's see. Oh, stupid teeth.
SPEAKER_01So on Tuesday, I was at work. I was eating an airhead. And I broke my tooth.
SPEAKER_02Bullshit. Yeah. So I have all these uh metal fillings in my mouth.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I guess that's what poor people have. Yep. Poor military people. Military people. So um yeah. They they asked me, I'm like, are you like a military brat? I'm like, no, I'm just poor. So I guess um the metal doesn't like expand or contract at all. So it just like fucks your teeth up. So Wednesday I went in to get it, looked at, started to get it fixed. Shit was three thousand dollars, dude. Shit. Insurance knocked it down to no three hundred after insurance, but still good lord.
SPEAKER_05Stupid teeth.
SPEAKER_01I mean, thankfully it didn't hurt or anything, so I was able to finish the workday and everything.
SPEAKER_00No, the worst is yeah, when it cracks and you taste like you could feel it in your mouth, and you're like, this oh shit. Wait.
SPEAKER_02What uh why are you biting why are you biting an airhead? Aren't you supposed to suck on that? No, that's a warhead. The airhead is the uh gummy.
SPEAKER_04I'm thinking lemon heads.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, you're also not.
SPEAKER_00You're supposed to bite down on the lemon head to release the the lemon juice, but sourness. You're not supposed to like bite down all the way.
SPEAKER_04Like, okay, okay. I'm thinking it's some kind of hard candy or something like that. But like warheads are solid.
SPEAKER_00Like warheads you're supposed to put in your mouth and let them I ain't camping with Jack, man.
SPEAKER_04He's he bites on shit you're supposed to suck on.
SPEAKER_01No, this was something chewy. It's like taffin almost.
SPEAKER_00I just want uh yeah, we're all camping and all I hear from Louis Warhead, not airhead, warhead, warhead.
SPEAKER_01Then he'll start crying anyways because he doesn't like warheads.
SPEAKER_04Fuck no. Uh uh. But Lou is Jack will definitely be given that sour face. Oh my god, that was so that was ter just the worst candy in the world.
SPEAKER_01Man, I mean it maybe. That was the first time Jack tried to kill Lou.
SPEAKER_04For real. They they knew that shit, they'd be they'd be that shit at Gitmo, man. It's like no. It's just waterboarding, uh-uh. Here's the warhead.
SPEAKER_02No, I'll tell you everything.
SPEAKER_01Uh let's see, what else?
Valhalla Grind And Rare Achievements
SPEAKER_02Oh, I finally finished Assassin's Creed Valhalla.
SPEAKER_01There was more left than I thought, but all done.
SPEAKER_04How many years later?
SPEAKER_01Right? But the last achievement I got?18% of people that have played Valhalla have gotten it. Nice. Wow. Congratulations.
SPEAKER_03Now I want to know what it is.
SPEAKER_01And it was for finishing um these master missions. So you go to like these uh totems or something, and there's three missions uh bear, wolf, and raven. Um, so in the game, those are like three branches of skills you have. Ravens like assassin, like sneaky sneaky. Um I think wolf was like archery, and then bear is like melee. So you have to do all these um conditions. Don't get caught, stay anonymous, only kill your target, uh kill your target a certain way, that kind of shit.
SPEAKER_02Dang. So I want to take a break from Assassin's Creed.
SPEAKER_00Does getting an achievement like that have the same impact as it did like 10 years ago for you?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. I still like it, because if you get an achievement that has less than 1% um unlock rate, it gives you a different achievement sound. And it like comes up with like a diamond and everything, and it sounds different. So I'm like, yes. But then yes, I did switch back to Power Wash Simulator 2 because they released Adventure Time DLC.
SPEAKER_02So I'm gonna do easy stuff for a little bit.
Xbox Game Pass Tiers Debate
SPEAKER_00Uh do you have a do you have the game pass? What's your thoughts on them lowering the price but delaying the Call of Duty stuff for you? I don't care.
SPEAKER_01I haven't played Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 3, maybe?
SPEAKER_04Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. The Game Pass was like a dollar a month or something.
SPEAKER_00Nope, it's up to like no, that was Xbox Gold. Yeah, and and also, well, and you if you would get it, they used to have it on sale. Like you it used to be on sale pretty regularly that you could get like the first month for a dollar, but then they have three or four tiers that go from like 18 to like 28 dollars now or$30. Um, and they've been raising the price, like it was 20 buc two years ago, and now it's almost 30 bucks. But then now the Xbox management has changed. Like the CEO and the president are both gone and they've been replaced. And a bunch of the initiatives that they were pushing have changed, and they're now the biggest change, at least as far as stuff that would like affect somebody like Jack, would be that they're lowering the price back down to like 22 bucks a month. But the down the only down or the only downside is so right now with the$28 a month or$30 a month, whatever it is, you get Call of Duty like when it comes out. So like the last like two or three Call of Duty games, you've gotten them on day one. The changes are gonna lower the price, but you have to wait a year before you can have that included as before Call of Duty. That version of Call of Duty is included, so you'll be a year behind.
SPEAKER_04That's how it should, that's how it should have been day one. That that's definitive wasn't like that.
SPEAKER_00But that's not how again, then when they bought Activision Blizzard, like that was one of the big things was like, oh my god, we're gonna get Call of Duty. But then it turns out now, in hindsight, the amount of money that Call of Duty made, they're fucking tanking big time because again, nobody's paying for Call of Duty, they're not paying 70 bucks for Call of Duty, they're paying 20 bucks for the game pass or 30 bucks for the game pass. So it's a it's harder to quantify those numbers because the 30 that's per month though, right? Yeah, but but that 30 though gives you a thousand games to pick from. Well, I'm looking at it that you're not gonna play.
SPEAKER_04You'll play like two games. No, Jack, how many people are playing? Are you playing Call of Duty? You're playing Call of Duty and nothing but Call of Duty for the next eight months. So it makes no it's like why would you you would rather just uh forego the uh the pass and just buy the$70 game, it pays for itself in four months, and you're gonna play it for eight.
SPEAKER_00I'm not saying people play smart, right? Like there's we have proven over the last eight years that people are not smart. Repeatedly.
SPEAKER_04Alright, that's fair. So that's that's fair.
SPEAKER_00I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that was what their big that but that was what their big push was was right. You get you get Call of Duty day one. Day one.
SPEAKER_01Day one. So what do you um so the essential, the lowest tier is your first month is a dollar, and then ninety ten dollars a month. Um you get fifty plus games, um, stream games, multiplayer, basic bare bone shit, right? So then you can up it to the$15 plan. It gives you access to 200 games on Xbox PC supported devices. New Xbox published games join the library within 12 months of launch, stream games with shorter wait times, and then you get like benefits in games that they own, like League of Legends, Call of Duty. And then you can do the ultimate, which is the 23 that D was just talking about. That's 500 plus games, new games, day one, including Xbox and third party games. So like New Year's War comes out, you get it day one without buying it. Um it also includes.
SPEAKER_04Okay, to beat the game and then switch back to the$10 a month.
SPEAKER_02You could. Um also includes Fortnite.
SPEAKER_04Wait, wait, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Is there still Xbox Gold? That's still a thing, live and all that?
SPEAKER_01That's all Game Pass, I think.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's all Game Pass. Oh, there's different levels of Game Pass. I bought mine several years ago, so I mean Game Pass Essentials is like just for the Xbox. The other tiers are for the Xbox and PC games. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04So how do people play against each other like on Madden and shit?
SPEAKER_02Because they have Xbox Live.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no. Even if it's just Xbox to Xbox and there's no Xbox Live, how do you play against? Somebody else.
SPEAKER_01Because you have Game Pass for ten dollars a month. It's only Game Pass, that's all there is. There's no Xbox Gold.
SPEAKER_04Game Pass is Xbox Gold or Xbox Live or whatever. So you still have to have something to play against other people live. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. And in this case, it's the minimum one you have to have, the$10.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Um, you also get EA play, which is uh EA games. Um not generally day one. Um probably within a year of release. So if you went and bought the Game Pass for the$22.99 a month, you can play both of the Jedi Survivor games. Like they're just on there. You just download them, play them. Um Ubisoft Classics. Go back and play Assassin's Creed games or whatever Ubisoft does. Assassin's Creed, I don't know. They do other stuff, I guess. Um and then again, still the online multiplayer, all that bullshit, too.
SPEAKER_02Okay. But I like it.
SPEAKER_04I mean I can do play a lot of games on there. Yeah, I was gonna say the cheap one isn't terrible though, because it's if you're paying 60 bucks for Xbox for for gold or live, you're only paying an extra 60 bucks for the rest of the year. So 60 bucks to get the, you know, in that case, it's now again, I'm comparing it to 10 years ago when I was more into it. Um it's only an extra five bucks a month. That's kind of worth it.
SPEAKER_00But you only get fifty, but it depends on those on the 50 games if you would actually play those 50 games.
SPEAKER_04Well, yeah, for for sure. So I mean, I assume you can see the the list before you put you buy or before you choose. Probably.
SPEAKER_00The difference is, I mean, Jack loves the achievements part of it. So his game His game, his game variety is broader than probably both of ours put together. You know? Times 10. Well, so but then four games. But then that would make the game pass way worth it for him because he could just roll into the next game. Like, and and they're always rolling games on and off every month.
SPEAKER_04So that would piss me off. I'm having fun with a game and it's gone all of a sudden. Fuck off.
SPEAKER_00If you're if you have it downloaded and are playing it, you can still play it. It just nope. Oh, if it's totally off a game pass, it's gone, yeah. Okay.
SPEAKER_04I thought before it's gone.
SPEAKER_01I thought before gold, where they would put new games out every month and you could download them and keep them forever. But with the game pass, they're on game pass, or they're not. There's actually some games I downloaded on Game Pass and didn't finish. And now if I go back to try and play it, they're like, hey, you gotta buy this. I'm like, hey, I'll just wait till it's on Game Pass again. I mean it's like Pop Patrol or something.
SPEAKER_00But again, it just goes back to you don't actually own the games, you know. Exactly. Like you're you're paying for a license.
SPEAKER_01No, no, no, no, I still do buy games, right? Like Jedi Survivor comes out. I do physically buy that game. I get off my lazy ass and I put the game in the Xbox behind the TV.
SPEAKER_04Man, I know we do that. I I I bought I bought both of those when they were on sale, and but I bought them digitally. It was on sale. I had I had points, credits.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, there's some stuff that I will buy digitally. Um especially if it's cheap enough, or I just don't want it.
SPEAKER_04Older stuff. Like the old deal with it, uh Battlefront, the old uh Clone Wars game, the old Podracer game. All the all the old ones, those ones, when they were on sale for like five to ten bucks, I bought them.
SPEAKER_01Well, there's a new um Lego Batman game coming out. I just bought that digitally. I pre-ordered it digitally. I'm like, whatever. I don't want to deal with that. But if it's a series I enjoy, you know, I'll I'll I'll speak with my dollars and buy it. I think the only one I haven't that I probably should have was the Gears of War Remastered. But they gave that to me for free, so I was like, well fuck that. They're like, oh, you've played Gears of War forever.
SPEAKER_02Here you go. Okay. I'll take a prettier Gears of War. That's fine. Chainsaw some PlayStation noobs. Fuck those guys. Which is exactly what happened last year. Yep. Or year before. At this point, that might have been 2024. Yep. For real, though.
unknownWhat else?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so I'm back on that now.
Clayface Trailer And Noir Watching
SPEAKER_01Let's see, what else do I have? Um, did you guys watch the Clayface trailer? Yeah. I it'll I think it'll be interesting.
SPEAKER_02I mean it's I had zero interest. I have zero interest, you didn't watch the trailer, bro.
SPEAKER_04Because I know who Clayface uh Clayface is, and I enjoyed him in uh Creature Commandos uh for the one episode he was in, and I don't care about the movie. I know it's a prequel and leads up to that, it's like whatever.
SPEAKER_00But it's I mean, I guess if you like.
SPEAKER_04Tell me there's a tie-in to the next Batman movie and we'll talk.
SPEAKER_00I I think if you liked him in the cartoon, though, since everything's supposed to be in the same universe, like it is. It would be the same thing.
SPEAKER_04It's the same voice actor, you know, all that.
SPEAKER_00If you liked the character, yeah.
SPEAKER_04So it's a prequel story that has no bearing to anything in a DC universe that I care about.
SPEAKER_02So it was like, what's the point? To be entertained.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's the thing, though. That character has never entertained me. I've never found him to be a compelling character. I know they're trying to make him so, and the drama the drama that goes with, I I get that. I'm just not interested in it. I'm not their target audience. So he was like, oh, Clay Clayface trailers out.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, oh, yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_00I am happy that it is a different type of movie. Like, I'm happy that it's a different genre of movie. Like, to me, that's interesting because so many, I mean, all the Marvel movies and everything outside of kind of a cup one or two outliers where they tried to do, you know, like the the uh why can't it the uh Into the Mouth of Madness, the Doctor Strange movie that kind of tried, you know, the Raimi one that was a little kind of horror adjacent. But but beyond that, I mean the majority of these movies have all been very straightforward, right? They're they're all in the superhero genre, right? There's none of them that try to to to be different, you know. Right. Uh and so I I I'm interested because this one definitely has a different or definitely is presenting itself, at least through the trailers and the stuff that I've read, as a different type of movie. It's not your traditional superhero movie. So that's what's interesting to me, is just that it's a different I app I appreciate a different um perspective, a different type.
SPEAKER_04I don't even that right there. I don't even it's not it's not a superhero movie to me. And that's not even that. It'll probably be good and I'll probably like it, honestly. But I just don't have any interest in it. There's no excitement, there's no nothing. I'm like superhero superhero movie. Not I mean it's it to me, it's trying to win you over Lou. It's gonna be a psycho, you know what I mean? It's gonna be a psychological drama.
SPEAKER_00I wasn't trying to win you over Lou.
SPEAKER_04Right? I didn't think you were. I think you were trying to convince yourself that you think that it's gonna be good and all you're and you're enjoying that. I I agree with you though. I like that it's look like it's gonna be something different. Just not it's not a superhero, it's not a different superhero movie because it's not a superhero movie. But it is gonna be different, and I think it'll probably be good. I just don't have any excitement for it.
SPEAKER_00It's like how about the Cicless Cage Spider Noir. I think they re Amazon released a bunch of versions of that this week. Because I think they're supposed to come out with the same trailer as well. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's it, just black and white and colored.
SPEAKER_00But that's how they're gonna come out with it, right? Because it's gonna come out in both.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and you can choose.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you can choose with how you want to watch it. Only weirdos are gonna watch it in color.
SPEAKER_04Bruh, I'm like, you gotta watch in black and white. What is what is wrong with people? I'll probably watch it in both just to make the comparison. But I'll first watch through, it's going to be black and white, period.
SPEAKER_00The color will be your second watch when you get a clearer picture of how much you hated it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, basically. Then I can see how much more I hate it.
SPEAKER_01In color. I've always meant to go back and watch Logan in black and white.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The Noara edition.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And then uh Mad Max for your E Road also did that as well. They had like a chrome and chrome and steel version. Is that what it was called? Shiny and Chrome. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think I have both of those on my plex. I need to. Black and white means you're sophisticated. Yes.
SPEAKER_00I just need the boxes popping up instead of hearing them talk with what they say. Then we're going, really.
SPEAKER_04That'd be cool as far. That version would be badass. Imagine if they did that with Spider-Man War. And oh my god.
SPEAKER_00It's a five-minute conversation scene that you don't hear shit, and then the screen goes to the black with the little curly cues, and then it's just a five-minute scroll. It's a five-minute scroll of everything that they just said. It ends up being two and a half hours for a 30-minute show because they have to.
SPEAKER_04I mean, we can't go to side stuff to silent movie style, but the pop-up video style, that'd be badass.
SPEAKER_02That would be the version I'd watch. If that was an option, that would be the version I'd watch. That would be so cool. Um, let's see. What else is on my list? I lost it.
Star Wars Plans And Mando Rewatch
SPEAKER_01Um next up. So our next episode, we'll start our Star Wars month. We'll talk about Maul then. I guess we'll talk about Maul after it's all over.
SPEAKER_00How it went, everything. Because that'll be done by the time we talk, we meet next week. Daredevil. Or do we have two weeks? Almost. Do we have two weeks? No, two weeks.
SPEAKER_04It'll be done because we're missing, I thought we were missing next week because of That's true.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, unless we do it another night.
SPEAKER_02But that's offline talk. Um, yeah.
SPEAKER_01So we'll talk about Mall and Mando and Grogu and all the drama leading up to everything coming out. Start our Star Wars month. It'll be fun.
SPEAKER_05We should have saved the best animation.
SPEAKER_00We should have saved the best animation for their Star Wars month, but that's okay. The best TV shows. That is alright though.
SPEAKER_04I can tell you what, mall starting to creep up, man, and are better watch out.
Trailers, Secret Movies, And Punctuality
SPEAKER_02I did restart my restart of Mando today. That first episode was just a bit too good. The music, the the theming, everything. The end scene. Yeah. All of it. Yeah, that first episode is just front-to-back banger. Yeah. That they can never get back to. Well, who knows? Maybe. Who knows? Yeah, season f season four might be really good. One can hope.
SPEAKER_01That guy at the theater when we were getting popcorn and shit. Um, he's like, oh, you have credits. Would you like to use them? I'm like, no. Trying to watch Mando and Grogo at night, bruh.
SPEAKER_04For for real. It's like, what's wrong with you? It's like every time they do it's like Matinee, or when I do my when I do my$5 movie on Monday, or my$5.50 movie on Tuesday, they automatically have the credit thing checked for you. I'm all like, no.
SPEAKER_00Nope.
SPEAKER_04Turn that feature off. I don't want to accidentally get it. So turn turn it on. No, turn it off. I will pay$11.56. I will pay$10.50. Thank you.
SPEAKER_00I have two rainy day tickets from some Tuesday night movie we tried to go to, but the rainy day tickets were for like any showing. So every time I go up to buy my Tuesday ticket, they're like, would you like to use one of these? I'm like, no. What? No. That's dumb. I just scanned my my barcode. That means that I want the cheaper ticket. Right?
SPEAKER_04God. Do you all want to pay$15 for this movie or use a$15 credit or pay five bucks cash? I will pay five bucks cash every time. So dumb.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we used to we used to pre-order our tickets on Fandango, and we don't even do that anymore because we're just like, well, it's we're waiting until we get to the theater. And really, we could just walk in if we wanted to, because we walk in and we say, okay, we're gonna buy them with popcorn, and they go, okay, go ahead. And I'm like, just okay. Just keep walking to the theater. Like that. The theater is hardly ever full enough to be a problem, you know.
SPEAKER_04I was gonna say, what about the assigned seats? You could be in somebody's seat.
SPEAKER_00Well, you just go sit down in front until the movie starts, and then you take a look behind you and see what seats are open. Like, I mean. Just walk up the side. I'm not like walking back and forth in front of people. No. Shannon has the light. I will sit in there. You guys got normal on a you guys found normal on a secret night, right? That was one of your secret movies.
SPEAKER_05Yeah.
SPEAKER_00They only had two trailers and one ad in front of normal. It was the wildest thing because the movie's only an hour and a half. We were thinking a good 40 minutes of commercials. Nope. There was 10 minutes. And then people come walking in the night. People come walking in like 20 minutes into the movie. Because they're again, they were like, it'll be fine. The movie starts at 7.35. We could show up at 7.55 and be fine. So these people walk in and you just see them like look around and they look at the the the projector and their or the screen and they're like, shit. Because at that point, they're oh we're full into the movie. That movie didn't even have that movie didn't even have like an intro. Like the movie just started and it rolled. It's like, bam, here we go. But yeah, so that was pretty funny. Because you know those people were like, ah, it's fine. We'll get to the theater at 7 45 and we'll get through the concession line and then because they had popcorn and drinks and everything. So like obviously they were like they had anticipated a 35-minute They They Will Kill You Secret Movie had zero previews, and so did Christy.
SPEAKER_04Zero previews.
SPEAKER_02Nothing wrong with that.
SPEAKER_01Spam right into it.
SPEAKER_02Nothing wrong with that at all. But yeah, that was the other funny part about.
SPEAKER_04That you have more time.
SPEAKER_00But that's how the theaters are gonna be dicks about it now. Because now they're gonna vary. So it used to be that you could pretty much on clockwork because everybody had the same trailer package, the same um, you know. Like the website uh maybe, maybe.
SPEAKER_04It depends. Because because if I if that happened to me, I would be I would walk right back out and say, when's the next showing? Because this one uh didn't have trailers and I already missed the first 20 minutes.
SPEAKER_02When's the next showing or refund my ticket? Your choice. I ain't I ain't having that. Or you could just be in your seat at showtime. No.
SPEAKER_04If if if you're gonna tell me, if if you're gonna tell me every movie starts on time, deal. I will be in my seat at showtime. Matter of fact, once you start showing previews for a seven o'clock movie at six thirty, and I can show up anytime between six thirty and it's like the the waiting room for Comic-Con tickets. I can just show up whenever and I'll start catching whatever trailers I'm gonna catch. Movie starts at seven, period. No questions asked.
SPEAKER_02Do it do it right. Be Japan. Be punctual.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, I I would absolutely if I'm going to a movie like that, like I like there's been a couple times I've been quote unquote late for a secret movie, but that's because old girl gets off work at a certain time and we have to adjust and and whatever, right? She'll leave a little bit early and try to make it on time, but and and honestly, it's worked out, it's been fine. But if they were seven o'clock movie, they started at seven. I'm like, uh, for a regular movie, yeah, no be consistent. If you're telling me if you're telling me every movie's like that, then that's on me. If you want to play games, y'all can fuck off. I'll take my refund, thank you.
SPEAKER_00That's fine. I already got your popcorn money. Eat a dick. Yeah. We already made our money off of you.
SPEAKER_04Nope, you refund that too. I refund my popcorn too.
SPEAKER_00You better hurry up on that shit.
SPEAKER_04Shit. I would throw a fit. I mean, all that all them YouTube videos, TikTok videos you see of a black fatigue, you go see me and a couple of them. They keep that shit up.
SPEAKER_01And they were like, and your trespass from Cinemark, sir. Good day.
SPEAKER_04But I had five tickets before dining. I'd be like, sir, uh, I I'm a I'm a little bit I'm a little bit vulnerable right now. Do you really think you want to piss me off by doing that? You gotta understand, sir, it's not you I'll go after. It's your friends, it's your family. Why would I hurt you when I can hurt the people around you? That'll hurt you more. Never understood that.
SPEAKER_01You don't know me.
SPEAKER_04Shit. I'll I man, I will rob him, get his ID, get all that shit first. I'm in trouble already, so what do I care? I'm gonna make sure he's all messed up.
SPEAKER_00Because you're in worse trouble then. Lewis Street De Niro and the Heat. Well, we killed one guy. Let's fucking kill the rest of them. We're already gonna get hung up for murder. Fuck him.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, right.
SPEAKER_00What's 1 or 20?
SPEAKER_04That's what I'm saying. Still life in prison. Who cares?
SPEAKER_00No, Lou, they brought back the shooting squad, so you're you're the firing squad, you're fucked.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's fine too. Then I spend no time in prison. That's great.
SPEAKER_02That sounds like a win-win.
SPEAKER_01Tell the what do you want for your last meal? A buffet? Six hours later. I'm not doing wrap this shit up.
SPEAKER_04Yeah. That's all talk about.
SPEAKER_01Lou's like, no, you kill me, I'm gonna shit myself. Everywhere.
SPEAKER_04Everywhere. I want a Mongolian station in my fucking jail cell.
SPEAKER_01Lou's like, where's the applesauce?
SPEAKER_00I need eggs. I need some runny fuck. I need some prune juice up in here.
SPEAKER_04Hey, yo, applesauce, we're done.
SPEAKER_01My body out of here is gonna be blood and shit. Just a whole trail of blood and shit.
SPEAKER_04Y'all might want to put on a hazmat outfit, y'all. I'm I'm gonna give you the heads up. It's gonna get ugly.
SPEAKER_01Some target workers about me. Put down the visque.
SPEAKER_04Put down the visque. We're gonna be good.
SPEAKER_02Who's got a target? Oh man.
SPEAKER_04But yeah, I was talking to a coworker like oh my god, it was almost ten years ago, it was nine years ago. Uh, about like violence and revenge and stuff. I just like, oh, you did this to me, I'm do this to you. I'm like, well that's dumb. You do that to me, then I would just go after your kid. And I made her cry. It was all hypothetical, obviously, but but she's trying to talk about this. I'm like, no, that's that's not I think I think the part that scared her, the quote unquote scared her and made her cry, was that I was so calm about it. It was like, no, that's just stupid. If you did that to me, I I mean, you you have a four-year-old, so why would I do anything to you? If I went after your four-year-old and your four-year-old got hurt in whatever manner, way, shape, or form, and you knew it was your fault, imagine how your life would be. The rest of your life, knowing the damage and everything that happened to your four-year-old, was because of you.
SPEAKER_02They just started crying and left my office.
SPEAKER_01And so started Lou's cycle of unemployment. Yes.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, that was that was four years before that. I think I I was at that place four more years longer. It was fine.
SPEAKER_00No, all this is just gonna be all this is just gonna be as evidence for when Lou is actually convicted when Lou is accused of murder. And they're gonna be like, by the way, we have several hours of podcasts that
SPEAKER_06Oh no, come on. Yeah, vaguely inconsistent bitches. We got another listener.
SPEAKER_04First of all, I would own up to it. I mean, if if if I'm making an effort to get away with it, I'm gonna get away with it. That's not that hard. People are just stupid. Um, but if I didn't know, I watch CSI, I know what's up. There's a lot, yeah. It was like between cameras and stuff you have to avoid and how you have to dress, not dress, mannerisms, the way you walk, all that shit, that that AI capture, you gotta change whatever. I mean, there's so much that there's so many things you can do to get away with. Um to get away with the city.
SPEAKER_00Jack's trying to change his face like clayface right now.
SPEAKER_04For real. But like, hey, I'm sure you guys seen that TV show, First 48. Um them them fools tell on themselves more often than not. It's like, what is like how hard is it to shut the fuck up? As soon as you get arrested, should they bring you in? We have the questions for you. Lawyer. But we just have a few questions. Lawyer.
SPEAKER_06L-A-Y-E-R. Exactly. Sir, you're being arrested.
SPEAKER_04L O Y L L O A R Y A. Lawyer. But that's the thing. And it's like, and if there's two of you, shut the fuck up. It's not that hard. Well, your partner already told us this is like, alright. I mean, I'm glad he did. It's like, then you don't need to talk to me, then I'll do you.
SPEAKER_01Right? Lawyer. I guess I'm already guilty.
SPEAKER_04Well, we're gonna give the deal to the first person who turns on the other. I'm like, go ahead.
SPEAKER_02Lawyer.
SPEAKER_04See now, and now I have that in mind. You you gave motivation. So, as far as you know, that person's lying because you gave him motivation to talk. So it's like, again, watching the first 48. Shut the hell up. No, man, what happened? And if you're a witness or whatever, or accessory, anything, and you do have info, rat the hell out. But nope, I will tell you everything you need to know to solve this case. Bring me a bring me a deal that says I'm Scot Free.
SPEAKER_01Hold on, but before you admit to it, tell me so I can get the reward money. Hook a brother up. If you're just gonna snitch on yourself, let me get that hundred G's from the FBI.
SPEAKER_04I got you. No problem. Alright, alright. You got cruises to ticks, huh? Right. Just make sure you pour one out for me when you're at the bar, at the cruise bar.
SPEAKER_02Yep. This sounds for you, Lou.
SPEAKER_04Like, damn it. Who's gonna text me answers?
SPEAKER_00Lou. Yeah, Lou, we're going into trivia right now. Where are you? I'm out in the yard. This is my hour. This is my hour of sunlight. We're breaking rocks today.
SPEAKER_05Oh man.
SPEAKER_03That's the sound of a man working on the chain.
SPEAKER_04Oh, damn, fish. Holy shit, dude.
SPEAKER_00Trying to be better, man. I gotta drink more water. I've been told I need to drink more water.
SPEAKER_04Check you out. Clearing them kidneys.
SPEAKER_01Right? He's got crystal clear pee. He has peas back into the mug. I got new Pepsi pea.
SPEAKER_00Anything else on your list, Mr. Jack?
SPEAKER_01No, that was it. That was it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and it's I think we're, I mean, yeah.
unknownYeah.
