I have just discovered your podcast and I’m looking forward to getting some insights. With regards to the making friends over 50 episode, I would like some insight into a situation where the person is neither shy or an introvert and moved to a small town that is very clicky, lots of deep rooted families, decades of history, established friendship groups, and so on. It has been extremely difficult to get relationships to go beyond the book club or yoga class level. Lots of “yes let’s get together for coffee” but somehow there’s never time in their busy schedule. You touched on this a little bit, but with a twist of the person being either a shy person or an introvert. This thing about making friends after 50 being difficult is a real thing!
