So many of my clients come to me feeling like they've done everything. So I literally they have done everything. They have seen the doctors, they have followed the diets, they have tried the supplements, and still the symptoms make no sense. So today I'll walk you through the same process, the body wise healing process that helps them to shift from fear and frustration to clarity, confidence and calm.
But first, I want to share with you a excerpt from the brilliant book Women's Bodies Women's Wisdom by Doctor Christine Northrup.
I'm going to share the link in the show notes below, because I would highly recommend that you read this book. It's a it's an amazing book to understand the connection, the, uh, way the body is communicating and to understand your body better, she says.
Although our entire bodies are affected by our thoughts and emotions and their various parts talk to one another. Each individual's body language is unique. And no matter what has happened in her life, a woman has the power to change what that experience means to her and thus change her experience both emotionally and physically. Therein lies her healing. There are no simple formulas for deciphering the message behind the symptom. Only the patient herself can ultimately know what that message is about. Sometimes headaches that occur premenstrual are a sign for her to give up caffeine. In other women, these symptoms may be related to something entirely different. It is up to each woman to sit with her symptoms in a completely receptive, non-judgmental way so that she can begin to appreciate the unique language of her body.
Isn't that brilliant? See, that is where so many people, and especially women, are stuck. So many women don't actually heal in a holistic manner physically, emotionally, and spiritually and sustainably because of this very reason she is doing. She's not even listening to what her body is trying to tell her, so she's not actually in a position to do the things that will help her find real, sustainable healing.
So maybe you have been feeling dizzy or lightheaded, especially when you stand up quickly and no one can explain why. Or maybe your heart starts racing randomly, even when you're not anxious or you're not physically active and you've just been told it's stress. Or you might find that you're suddenly intolerant to heat or you sweat excessively. Maybe it's from hormones, maybe it's not, and everyone else seems fine. Or maybe you've noticed memory lapses like forgetting common words, mid sentences, or losing your train of thought, even though you used to be sharp and focused and there could be tingling or numbness, numbness in your hands and feet that comes and goes. Or maybe you are having trouble regulating your emotions.
So there's so many different symptoms that can just sort of be affecting you, and you just don't know what's really going on. And these symptoms actually can seem random. They might seem random, they may not even show up on a lab report, but your body knows exactly what it's doing. It's not trying to betray you. It's actually trying to communicate with you. And that's what we are here to explore today. How to decode what your chronic symptoms are really trying to say to you. They are your body's way of saying something is out of alignment. Something needs adjustment. Please listen. The real problem is not just the inflammation. It's not just the hormones, the food sensitivities, or even the flare ups.
The real problem is that your body has been speaking and you were never taught how to understand the language. So it always felt like a foreign language, which is the case for most women, including myself. So you've been trained to silence the symptoms, not really. Listen to them, to fight with your body, not really. Partner it to chase diagnosis protocol perfection. Instead of pausing to ask what is my body trying to protect me from? So you get stuck in what I call a disease, Merry-Go-Round, or in a loop that goes like this.
It's flare up. Panic, restriction, burnout, temporary relief, and repeat. It's a temporary thing. You feel fine. Relief. But it's all it's usually temporary. Because here's the truth no one really tells you your symptoms are not random. They are not punishments. They are patterns, signals, and intelligent clues. And the real problem is you've been trying to heal your body, but without knowing how to hear it.
And that's where the crux of the problem lies. And this is the case with And all of my clients who come to me because many of them have done the food intolerance tests, they have followed elimination diet. They've already taken the protocol. So what is this really left? And I find that this is an area that is completely ignored, which is why I have, you know, I talk about it. I work on this area because this is what actually just flips the switch, in a manner of speaking. It makes all the difference.
So if, you have already done the food intolerance test, followed elimination diet, cut out everything from gluten to garlic and still your symptoms keep coming back. I mean, this might be the reason and you may have tried the supplements already. Magnesium for sleep, zinc for immunity, B12 for energy. But you're not seeing any difference. You've seen specialist one says is autoimmune. Another says it's hormonal. A third tells you it's all in your head. Or maybe your journal tracked, googled, and you've gone down rabbit holes trying to decode every flare up. And maybe you've tried being positive enough, disciplined enough, clean enough. And yet here you are, still exhausted, still confused, and still wondering what am I missing? This is what I want you to know. It's not that you have not tried hard enough. It's that most of these approaches are about controlling symptoms, not understanding them.
So you've been handed protocols and plans. What you've actually needed was a process to help you listen. Now, don't get me wrong, I do also hand out protocols and plants. I also recommend supplements. I also recommend elimination diets and changes in lifestyle etc. they are important. I my clients also obviously work with doctors, take medications, go through treatments. It's never an either or situation, especially when it comes to complex chronic conditions such as autoimmune disease. Often, medications are important and necessary to prevent further tissue damage, cell damage, etc. at the same time, this is a big missing area. This is the huge gap that I'm trying to bridge so that you you find a way to start working with your body and start seeing the results that you have been dreaming of.
So instead of trying to shut the symptoms down, you need to start getting curious about them. Instead of asking, how do I fix this? You need to start asking, what is my flare up trying to tell me because your body is not working against you. It's working for you every moment and in every symptom. And I know it's hard to, uh, you know, how to, uh, take that in sometimes. Because when you've been dealing with 200 symptoms.
I had a client who, when she came to me, she had 200 plus symptoms. she had all the symptoms in the book. Uh, by and large, her gut was in a very, very poor shape. Terrible shape, actually. And, uh, we had to start slowly. But it all started with her listening to what her symptoms were telling her. So in her case, for example, when we started up, even when we started a b-complex supplement, we had to start with one for the capsule. So she had to literally open the capsule, throw away half, then throw away half of that half, and then take that because the body could not tolerate it. Uh, you know, and it's a sort of a diarrhea. But it was important that those nutrients were important because her gut was really not, not really absorbing any of the nutrients. Sothis was a way of helping her to At least get some nutrients in the body. Your body can't really manufacture nutrients out of thin air. So this is a process that I took her through. And this is exactly what I'm sharing with you today.
So step one is to observe without judgment. Track your symptoms, but don't get into over analysis over judgment. Just gently notice what shows up. When does it show up? What might be happening around that time emotionally, physically, or even harmony? So, uh, keeping a tracker, keeping a journal, uh, makes sense, but not to obsess about it.
Step number two look for patterns, not perfection. So you're not here to solve a puzzle overnight. You're here to spot the connections, right? So make that shift. So like, every time I skip breakfast, my anxiety flares up. Or every time I skip lunch, my anxiety flares up by 5:00 pm. So the more specific you are, uh, you know, the easier it will be to figure out. Or I get migraines two days after I push through. Like I do intense exercise instead of resting. And maybe especially after a hectic week, that whole week was very, very hectic. So you need to keep a journal, say maybe about 30 days to start putting these connections.
And then step number three, very important respond with compassion, not control. You're not trying to control anything. You're not trying to, uh, you know, uh, follow anything which is rigid. When your body speaks, you are trying to listen. So you pause and you breathe and you ask yourself, what might I need more of right now? Right? Do I need more of rest? Do I need more of peace? Do I need more of putting my feet up? So what is it that I need more of? And when you ask, you will get the answer. What boundary needs reinforcing? That means that. Do I need to, uh, you know, not go out this weekend? Let me just rest today. Uh, maybe just finish some household chores. You know, it depends, right? It depends on person to person. But your body will give you the answer. And where am I overriding my truth? So it means that saying no to another party over this weekend, maybe it's just going to be, uh, putting up my feet and sort of just resting, right? And getting a foot massage or something. You know, so it depends. So this is what decoding looks like. It's not a rigid plan. It's a relationship. It's a conversation with your body, not a battle against it. And that's when you will see that everything starts to shift. So try this for say, you know, for one simple thing for three days and you'll be shocked at what you look like. If you just do this for a while, you will find that you will get the answers that you've always been looking for.
And here's a simple but powerful challenge that I often give my clients, but one that always leads to a major insight and a moment of clarity. So for the next three days, I don't want you to just track your symptoms. Track the first time in the day that you overload your body. So, for example, pushing through when you're tired, right? If you if you were really tired today, then maybe you just take an extra hour of sleep, get an extra hour of sleep, and if it's possible for you, maybe just taking a nap, uh, skipping meals, especially on a weekend. That's what I do. I always take a nap on a Sunday. Skipping meals because you're too busy, or because somebody else told that fasting may be good for you? It depends again. So just, you know, you have to start now understanding what is your body needs saying yes. When your body is screaming no. That means that you overload your body's signals and you decided to go out again. Late night delaying a bathroom break. This is something that I have to constantly sort of find when I'm working and I'm in that zone. A lot of times I have done this, so I consciously get up and go to the washroom, ignoring a tight chest headache or a gut feeling.
So just jot it down. Time what you overrode and what you felt after. Most women are starting to realize their flare ups did not come out of nowhere. They came after this. This pattern of micro ignores these tiny moments when you disconnected from, you know, when they disconnected from what their body actually needed. This small shifts, builds massive awareness, and the awareness is where the healing actually begins. And this is exactly what Dr Christian Northrup was talking about in her book, because this is why it's important, because if you don't know how to do this, how to decode your symptoms.
You will be stuck in survival mode and you will treat every flare up like a crisis. You will waste energy jumping from one diet to another, one test to another, hoping one of them will give you the answer and you lose time, energy, money, and most of all, the trust in your body. I think that's the biggest price that you pay. And you know, it's a and it keeps you stuck. And once again, I mean, but once you start understanding the signals beneath your symptoms, everything starts to shift. Everything changes, your anxiety softens, your symptoms become less scary, you stop living in reaction mode and you start making decisions that are grounded, calm, and actually supportive. And you and you immediately start seeing the results. You immediately start seeing improvements in your symptoms.
And this is why this work of decoding symptoms is non-negotiable. And it's a big part of my Body Wise Reset programme that I'm launching very soon. And I'll be sharing the link in the show notes below, and also the free masterclass that I'm leading on April 25th, because healing does not start with fixing your body. It starts with learning how to listen to it.
So if this episode made you pause, even if one symptom suddenly felt a little less random, then then you know this episode has done its work and you already know this. Your body has been trying to guide you all along. So it's just that it's time for you to listen to it. It's time for you to listen clearly, calmly and confidently, and I hope this episode has helped you to do just that. And we will explore more of this in my upcoming masterclass, which is on April 25th. It's called "Tired of chronic pain, fatigue and flare ups"? Discover the three step healing framework that actually works. You will learn how to break out of this chronic illness trap. Understand what your body is really asking for and finally, create a healing plan that makes sense for you. I'm going to share that link in the show notes below.
So these are the few key takeaways I want you to take from this episode.
Number one. Your chronic symptoms aren't random. The messages your body is sending you for a reason.
Number two. The reason they don't make sense right now is because you're not. Because you're broken. It's because no one taught you how to decode them.
Number three, the more you override or ignore these messages, the louder they become.
Number four, when you start listening in a body wise way with the understanding the language without fear, without judgment, you begin to find patterns and clarity.
Number five the clarity leads to more than just symptom relief. It leads to confidence, peace, and a deeper connection with yourself.
Number six, that's what real healing looks like. Not just fixing your body, but finally understanding it. So if you're ready to learn how to do this step by step, I'd love to guide you inside my free masterclass. And if this episode helped you shift something even a little.
Please share this with a friend who needs to hear this too. Thank you so much for joining me on this episode. Your body knows how to heal. Are you ready for it?
