David Wayne is a registered nurse with a background in hospital psychiatry. He was trained to tell his patients that their depression is caused by a chemical balance, and that antidepressants are a safe and effective way to treat depression. Ignorance was bliss. Now that he knows better, he screams into the void in a futile attempt to affect systemic change in establishment psychiatry. According to his critics, he is a dangerous anti-science conspiracy theorist with questionable hygiene. He is also the obligatory male nurse on the Nurses Out Loud podcast.
