Sarah Price Hancock
Sarah Price Hancock, MS, CRC, is a nationally certified rehabilitation counselor and former professor of clinical psychiatric rehabilitation at San Diego State University. After developing neurological complications following electroconvulsive therapy, Sarah began a years-long journey to uncover what had gone wrong — a search that revealed patterns of electrical injury never before recognized in ECT research or medical literature. Guided by the simple truth that "the natural laws governing electricity's contact with the human body do not bend for benevolent intent", she shifted from academia to independent investigation and patient advocacy.
