You were not designed for despair. You were designed to delight in the sound of the rain, the softness of the breeze, and the sway of trees. You were designed to be moved to tears by the kindness of small gestures.

There was a time when we preached The Misery because no one was listening. No one believed us, so we put pain at the center and sang songs of lament and mourning. And then somewhere along the click path, we forgot that The Misery is not the work.

We forgot that there are many songs, that we are full of endless music, that the work is remembering that there is a part of us that is uncrushable, wild and wide and full of wonder and whimsy and strength and impossible, joyful, stubborn hope. Our song is unkillable. Feeling hopeless does not mean you are paying attention. Hope is not a privilege. It is your birthright.
