Going For It π Building National Champions
How do you build a full volleyball team from scratch, starting with 2 players practising on a tiny patch of grass, and catapult them onto centre court to win gold at the Canadian National Championships? Well, Coach Sis Phant did just that ~ with Team Harmony, just north of Toronto. And it was no accident. As I interview each player, join me in discovering how the deliberate focus from Coach Sis on respect, kindness and connection developed a powerful loyalty that motivated them to bring their A game to every single touch of the ball. The best part of this story? I never predicted that I'd learn so much from these 16-year-old girls who sparkle with wisdom and extraordinary emotional intelligence equivalent to Harvard graduates. Come ~ be surprised. Be inspired.

10) Megan Hunter π "If you believe, you're already halfway there. If you don't fully believe, you're not going to put in as much effort because you don't believe it will get you anywhere."
Megan Hunter is my final guest from Team Harmony ~ lucky last, as they say ~ simply because she was off playing volleyball for none other than Team Canada in Honduras. Take a moment and imagine having THAT on your resume. Now, take it one step further and picture in your mind the journey it would take to actually get that far in life. Since starting volleyball at the age of 9, she has always played with teams one year ~ and sometimes 2 years ~ older than she is. Two words: Truly remarkable.
Megan and Team Harmony have been on the podium for the last 3 Canadian National Championship tournaments, giving them a radiant collection of bronze, silver and gold medals.
As for Megan herself, I canβt wait for you to be inspired by the motivation and wisdom AND gratitude that she carries around in her back pocket on a daily basis.
Allow me to introduce you to Megan Hunter ~ 16 years of age and # 23 on Team Harmony.
Join me in discovering the drive and dedication that have resulted in a beautiful journey for this remarkable Canadian champion.
