In this episode, JD Tremblay shares his journey from military service to becoming a health and discipline advocate. He discusses the culture of alcohol and smoking in the military, his personal struggles, and his transformative approach to health, discipline, and mental resilience.

In the military, alcohol is often viewed as a coping mechanism to deal with stress and trauma. JD emphasizes that for many service members, drinking becomes a way to celebrate achievements or forget about the challenges they face. He recalls how the environment encouraged unhealthy habits, with supervisors even promoting alcohol consumption as a means of dealing with problems. After leaving the military, JD began drinking to cope with physical pain and emotional challenges. However, he quickly realized that this was not a sustainable solution.

JD eventually chose health over drinking and smoking. After quitting, he started to challenge himself physically. JD was one of three people to complete the Epicdeca race and has done much more!
