Coryne & Francene deep dive in the next episode in Season 2

Carrie meets Miranda's ex Skipper, a sweet guy who is getting desperate as all women seem to turn him down in favor of jerks - like Kevin, the bossy colleague Miranda is dating right then. When she confesses this to her friends, this contradiction bugs her too. Sam declares monogamy fits none of them, as its high expectations are never met. To everyone's surprise, Charlotte takes that advice to the extreme, double-dating two fine men - till they find out and walk out on her together. After a few lonely weeks without Big, Carrie invites John, her dependable rebound-lover just-for-sex who always repairs her self-esteem, and wonders why she never tried committing to him, so the next time they actually go out for dinner, which only proves their conversation is as uninspiring as their sex is enjoyable; the following movie is their last date ever.

francene

Hey, how's it going?

coryne

Good. How are you?

francene

Oh my God. I'm amazing.

coryne

I love that. I

francene

don't know.

coryne

I just

francene

feel really like light going into this year.

coryne

That's fantastic news. I'm happy to hear that for sure.

francene

Wait until like the end of the month.

coryne

Like give it give it a beat give it a beat

francene

give it literally a week.

coryne

Oh my gosh So busy I have been In the last two weeks. I've been super busy. So I had my first full time employee start last week. Oh, yeah. Super exciting. And you would think that like, I would, you know, have all this extra time because of that. But just like handing everything over. Yeah, like

francene

onboarding. Yes,

coryne

and she's amazing and she's doing so freaking good and like I'm so excited about her and like of all the things that she's already brought to the table are wonderful, but it's just like, like I'm used to like I've been doing this solo for eight and a half years and I think it's just like the. It's just such a shift of, you know, what I'm so used to and like, you know, getting her access to everything and like training everything and talking about everything and all the stuff and like taking her places and introducing her to people. And I have just felt so freaking busy for two weeks, but I'm here for it. And I feel like by the end of the month, we'll be in a place where it's like, she's got it. Yeah. And then on it. And I can like transition into kind of a new role of, you know, like more business development and marketing. That's wild.

francene

Eight and a half years. I know. Oh my gosh.

coryne

It's crazy. It went by like that. And it's, it's crazy too that like this, I'm, I've just been like realizing and having conversations with her. I have never marketed this business. It's just being natural. I've never once gone after a client. I have never, like some of the things that she's asked me like, where's your like, Google my business page? I'm like, don't have one.

francene

You're like, don't eat it. Never

coryne

had one. And like, or like, I've never created an actual logo for my company.

coryne (2)

Yeah.

coryne

Stuff that I do for other companies nonstop, I've never done it for myself. So I don't, I mean, like I never, I never post on the businesses, social media channels.

francene

Yeah.

coryne

Yeah. So it's like that, that'll be fun to like, you know. Market my own business and like take everything I've learned from doing it for everybody else and yeah

francene

and do it for yourself

coryne

Yes, and I have some fun like networking events coming up like this weekend into the month So I all get to be like more Mingley which is you know, my my vibe. Yeah For sure

francene

That is so cool. Yeah, I was talking to this woman who like she's in the oil and gas industry and she was pretty senior for one of the operators and she retired and I connected with her and like when I explain that she showed up to like a business meeting and, you know, typically in like My line of work, everyone is very corporate with what they wear. She showed up wearing something so like it's honestly as if she took it from like the catwalk and just put it on that day. She just looked amazing. So immediately I was like, I need to speak to you pronto. Yeah, I was like tell me everything. So we've continued to like keep in touch over the last couple of years by the call with her this morning. Cause she kind of acts as like my external mentor, if you will, and we always chit chat about work, but then she's like, what are you doing with like your blog and podcast and tell me and we're just speaking about stuff. And she was like, yeah, I'm thinking of doing like a Like a styling course, you know, to be able to like style other people. And she was like, I think you'd be interested in it. And I was like, that's so cool. Like, I'd love to just have more time to like do stuff like that. But like, I want to do it for people that work in an office. Cause I feel like it's just so boring sometimes. And you just get caught in this rottenness. Like I want to wear something different, you know,

coryne

there's this girl I follow on Instagram. I'm gonna forget her handle right now, but put it in the comments. Yeah. And she, her whole aesthetic, like every post that she does is about like overdressing everywhere she goes. And so like, she is Dre like, and you know, that's the thing is like clothes are one thing. The way you style it is everything. Yeah. And like, she cut, it's like every she'll do these videos where it's like her just walking through the lobby of her apartment in different outfits. Like, and you just, I will, I'll find it. I'll send you. And her outfits are so impeccable and like, I see stuff like that. And I'm like, you know, cause like in the last eight and a half years, most of what I've done does not require. And so like, I've been having that conversation with myself too, about like, all right, I gotta get this wardrobe back kicking and like get some outfits for like networking engagements and like lunch meetings and you know, all that type of thing again. And, but I, you are so great at the way you style your clothes. I can pick really good looks, but I am not as great as like, It's like putting all the little touches

francene

together.

coryne

Yeah. I would love to be better at that. Myself

francene

doing it. I honestly think it just, it's weird. It's like at the end of last year, I know it sounds like. Like, I don't know, like silly or like vain, I stopped wearing makeup to work just like, I just couldn't be bothered to be honest. And I just didn't see the point. And then I found with my outfits, I just stopped like caring as much was this year. That's one of my resolutions and not to like go full face, but just to make a little bit more of an effort. And I will say that like, mentally I feel better, like I'm doing it for me, but like I just feel more, I don't know, like professional. Put together. Yeah, put together, organized. The right

coryne

mindset. Yes. It's

francene

weird how, I, I don't know, it's weird how it can change like your outlook.

coryne

For sure. Absolutely. I mean, you know, that is like back in my corporate career like I was. Every single day, the best dressed person in my office

francene

that you are. Oh, the best shoes,

coryne

the best shoes, high shoes, like six inches or higher. Cause the platform back then. So the platform would be like two and a half, three inches. And then like a six inch heel on the damn thing. And I was all around this city in and out of offices, aerating people's lawns for free. Like I would. I mean, I got a reputate that was the whole like shoe bar was born out of everybody everywhere, like knowing me for my shoes. What shoes you got on today? Like everywhere I went, you know? But anyway, I, I'm excited to kind of get back a little bit into that world where it won't be five days a week that I'm doing that, but. It'll be cool to like, like this weekend, I got invited last minute through a client who's also a friend, but I was talking to her about kind of the transition in my business and she, she was like, Oh, actually, like, I have this extra ticket this weekend for an event with an organization that would be great networking for you. And it's like a full, like fancy tuxedo event. And I'm like, yeah, so I'm like all day, I've been thinking through the. The theme is tuxedos and tennies.

francene

Like tennies? What is that? Like tennis shoes? Oh, okay. I thought that's what you meant. Yeah.

coryne

I'm thinking like, I have this like slinky like slip dress that looks honestly like lingerie. It's like black. Yes. I was gonna borrow one of Derek's like fancy tuxedo jackets and just wear it. Over it and it'll look like I'm like wearing my dates jacket, you know? Oh

francene

my God. Stuff. I love that. And then,

coryne

I don't know though, I don't think I can do tennis shoes. I'm gonna have to wear heels. Like

francene

Yeah, I would struggle with that too. But then you're

coryne

wearing the tuxedo. Yeah, I done, I got the T part done. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'd be exactly

francene

same as you.

coryne

Yeah. So I think that's, so I'm going to his house tomorrow to look through his collection, because of course he has like 12. Of course he does. And I bet

francene

you there. Like, so like different patterns and styles.

coryne

Yeah. And I'm yes. And he has ones. I know. I've seen one before with like a black, like the satin lapel on it. Like brocade look too. I know. Well, that's the thing is, I thought like the jacket will be oversized, but the dress will be like really slim underneath it. And I. I'm hoping that it'll pull it. I'll pull it off. Okay. You need to send

francene

pictures.

coryne

I will. I'll send texts. I'll send texts.

francene

Oh my God. We'll upload them on the gram.

coryne

I'm excited. So like the year

francene

Carrie Bradshaw moment.

coryne

Yes, for sure. For sure. Cast members from Sex and the City. I don't know if you guys audience have seen this, but it came to my attention that Charlotte is starting a podcast called I know! I need to listen to it! I know! It's called, Are You a Charlotte?

francene

Yeah. I'm like, I

coryne

am a Charlotte. I know, but I was like, Charlotte, just come on our pod! Like No, I

francene

lit Honestly, I was like, who do I think I am? I messaged her. You never know. Cause, you know, you know what I was thinking? Is how many followers did she have? I mean, it was like 10k and I was like, that's doable to be able to see this post. She's bound to see it. But yeah, I need to like, listen to it.

coryne

I wonder, does the pod have a Instagram yet? Yeah.

francene

It does. That. Sorry. That was the one that I messaged. Okay. Okay. Because in my mind, I was like, I feel like that would be caught versus her one.

coryne

Agreed. Yeah. Yeah. I agree with you. I mean, a hundred percent. She has someone who manages her to hers too, but I think the pod might catch the message more quickly. Are you?

francene

I'm excited to like, listen to it. I'm like, is it just her?

coryne

Yeah, I think so. It looks like it from the marketing I've seen. Well, yeah, it says with Kristin Davis. Now, you know, she might pull in, oh God, first clip Ryan Seacrest is on it. For sure she's gonna reach out and we're gonna do a crossover. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,

francene

ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. Oh yeah, Ryan Seacrest. Wait, was he involved in it?

coryne

I'm sure they just pulled it in. Oh,

francene

I get it. I just pulled it up on Instagram. So she is, I guess, interviewing people and then what they wrote is Ryan Seacrest checks all the boxes of being a Charlotte.

coryne

Oh, that's like her shtick is that she basically whoever she interviews she asks them if they're a Charlotte.

francene

And I guess they have to say yes,

coryne

or they, there must be some quiz vibe. There must be. Okay. We need to listen to it. We need to take one of the many quizzes that exist out there that are like, which character are you? And see if with our answers, if we actually line up with who we think we are.

francene

Oh my God. Yes. Yeah. Okay. Yes. So let's say now I would say I'm Charlotte.

coryne

Oh, Samantha, for sure.

francene

Okay, then next week I'm going to find something and we'll do it because actually our number one fan, Kara, messaged me earlier this week and she, she's like done her research and she found a trivia book about sex and say, I'm like, Oh, she's taking this seriously. Getting some books for us.

coryne

Yeah. Trivia

francene

pod.

coryne

Yeah. We got to do a trivia pod. I have the game. I have the. Like the Trivial Pursuit version that's Sex and the City.

francene

That's what we need to do.

coryne

Yeah, I have it here. Yeah, I'm gonna find something

francene

to see. Oh my gosh, she just messaged me. She's like, are you recording? Guys, we're not that cool

coryne (2)

yet.

francene

But yeah, okay, I'm gonna find something so we can determine next time what we are. Oh my god, I bet you I'm Miranda.

coryne

I know, I bet you I'm freaking Carrie. I used to, I would have taken that as a compliment. And now that we've deep dive, I'm like, Oh,

francene

I feel the only good ones is Samantha and Charlotte. And they're like extremes of one another. Oh, I would happily do that. Okay.

coryne

We love you. Come on. Yeah. We love you.

francene

Especially the new podcast, English I like, yes,

coryne

crossover episodes. Let's do it.

francene

Okay. So we're on season two, episode 14, the fuck buddy.

coryne

Man, this episode, I I, it was, it was fun to re watch it, super fun to see this one again.

francene

Yeah, I loved this episode. Also, for some reason, I, didn't she, I might be wrong, but didn't she in season one, wasn't there, Someone, oh no no, she was writing a column on having sex without emotion. Cause didn't she have someone she would just like call up?

coryne

I do not remember that. It may be because I just watched this episode and first of all I can think right now is this guy.

francene

Yeah, I don't know. Maybe I guess it's just so familiar with this, but yeah, cause I'm sure Stanford, didn't she see him in the bar and he was like, didn't he treat her like shit or something? And Stanford was like, what are you doing? And she was like, relax. I'm just going to like,

coryne

no, that was an ex that she had like that she had like dated and in an actual

francene

relationship.

coryne

Well, or she liked him more than he liked her or something like that, and he was a dick and like she had like gotten over him, whatever, and then she bumps into him in a bar and like Stanford's like, don't you dare? And she that's it. And she's like, has casual sex with him, but it's not, you know? Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Samantha too with the older guy. Oh my

francene

God.

coryne

Yeah.

francene

Yes. And also one of her ex flames is she was like, I'm going to date him and make him see what he's missing. But then he was like, actually, I'm not going to get divorced anymore.

coryne

She's like, not again. I'm supposed to do this to you. Yeah.

francene

Okay. I was having like deja vu, like watching this one Okay, so before we start, I actually do have a fun fact. I was trying to find some fun facts. Did you know that unlike season one, which used more studio sets, season two leaned heavily into filming actually on location in New York City?

coryne

I did not know that.

francene

And I, I did notice that because I think in this episode, they have a picnic in the park, like outside.

coryne

Did catch the picnic in the park, which as they were setting that up, I was like, way to go for the quintessential like New York.

francene

Yes,

coryne

drop. Yes. Yeah, for sure. And that there was some scenes to like the opening scene where she runs into skipper, which your skippers back, but they're like, they're walking in New York. And like, it looks, I assume that's like a real, they were on mainstream. Yeah, it looks really. It looked very authentic, I would say.

francene

And

coryne

they also won their

francene

first Emmy. In this season? In season two, yeah. For outstanding casting for a comedy series. Oh, wow. And it was one of many.

coryne

Yes, yeah, they've won all kinds of awards.

francene

Yeah, I'm like, this is interesting. So basically, they're now, they're on the map at this point, especially halfway through season two.

coryne

They are

francene

legit.

coryne

I mean, Tom Joey was on it. Come on.

francene

Right? And they do, when I was looking up the fun facts, and obviously I don't want to spoil future episodes, but they were specifically mentioning some of the, More well known cameos, like I know we've had the Bradley Cooper and we had But

coryne

Bradley

francene

Cooper was a nobody. But that's what I mean, same with Harvey Specter.

coryne

Yeah, which is not his real name, but whatever. Gabriel,

francene

Gabriel, whatever his name is. But what we know

coryne

him as is Harvey Specter. Oh, we

francene

care.

coryne

That's all we care about.

francene

That's all we care about. Okay, so it starts off to your point, Carrie runs into Skipper on the street and he talks about how he just broke up with another girl and then you see a kind of Montage. Yeah, of basically them being like, it's not me. It's not you. It's me. I need time to focus on my career. And he's like, do you know what I love the most? Is every time a girl says something, he's like, no, I'm here for it. I will support you. And someone said, I just need a bit more alone time with myself and he's like, well, we both like, I want that too. I want more alone time with you.

coryne

I know. I love the guy. She's like, I want to spend time with myself. And he's like, that's all I want to spend time with you. Like, no, no, no. The other, that's not what I'm saying. Skip or Skippy is giving like the full, like he's, he is that like. Perfect example, and obviously like painted to be the extreme of it, of a nice guy, who's

francene

like,

coryne

he's so nice that like, he gives you the ick.

francene

Yeah, the girls are like, oh, I just can't.

coryne

I

francene

need

coryne

you to be like a little bit of an asshole.

francene

Yeah, well also, like, It's like, I totally get how you'd be like, okay, where are we going to go tonight? What's up to you? We're going to do what you want to do. And you're like, just tell me what you want to do. This is like two ways. But could you imagine if you constantly had someone that was so passive,

coryne

then

francene

they lose that personality.

coryne

Like,

francene

what's the point?

coryne

I can't imagine. I need

francene

a bit of challenge. I need a bit of a debate.

coryne

I need a little bit of edge. It's like a little.

francene

Not a fool asshole, just a touch of one.

coryne

But like, you can be real nice to me. I just need to know that you could be an asshole to other people. Yes.

francene

Yeah, yeah. Be nice to me. Anyone else?

coryne

Like if you wanted to, you know Show me some road rage or yeah,

francene

you just need to know the possibility

coryne

there. It's there. It's hot. It's totally like a, it's such a, my therapist would have a field day with that, but like, it's so true. Like guys like that are just. So they're just such doormats, you know, Oh, I can't do it. I can't do it.

francene

And Carrie is obviously trying to be nice. And she's like, they don't know what they're missing.

coryne

He's so sweet. And I'm like, Carrie,

francene

because in her mind, we know what she's thinking.

coryne

I know. Well, and I love how they back it all day. Tarantino it all the way back to Miranda, which was like the very beginning. Of the series full circle. Yeah, I love it's like they show like three or four chicks that have broken up with them and it's like the first one you see is like really heartfelt. The second one's a little more generic and the third one's getting there and then it's Miranda who's dry brand. Toast, like, just like I could hear this scrape, scrape. Yeah, literally

francene

does not give a shit.

coryne

No, she's like, I don't, I would like to be alone now. I want to focus on my career.

francene

Yeah, she literally says every single line.

coryne

That's all the other girls said. I know.

francene

So then speaking of Miranda, then cuts to her later in the evening. She started dating is it a lawyer at her firm or a different firm?

coryne

Different firm and they, they met in an argument. Oh, that's

francene

right. They were like

coryne

opposing sides of a case and they argued over something in court and then he asked her out and he's a I feel like

francene

that would be hot. He's like foreplay.

coryne

Yeah, obviously it was for them, but he I like how they put him against what we just heard about skipper Yes, he's the mainstream Yeah, and are you doing

francene

everything

coryne

yeah, they went to the movies he's bitching about the movies He's bitching about the prices of everything and obviously the dude's super wealthy And then like she's trying to like hell a cab to get him back and like he's basically calling her stupid Like, I mean, completely demeaning her and like, you have to do it this way and the cabs are over here and the cab, of course, pulls up for him, which like, but then she gets in the cab with him and then cut to they're at her apartment and he's just as fucking asshole and bossy. But when he's doing it, you know, in the bedroom, she loves it. Yeah, she loves it. Like, she's like,

francene

he's like, I mean, yeah, it's like that dominant Nessie. You don't want an everyday life, but for him to be like, open your legs.

coryne

Yeah. Yeah. Put your hands above your head. Like, yeah. That's where the asshole should come out. That's

francene

what I mean. You got it. Yeah. Yeah. You got to bring it out in the right time. You know my other observation? Why is he wearing a suit to the cinema? How uncomfortable. And a tie.

coryne

I feel like that dude sleeps in a suit. Like, I feel like he's like, he's either at work being a dick, or he like literally leaves work to be a dick for like three hours before he goes to bed. And then wakes up in his suit. Yeah, I would

francene

hate that. So then it cuts to the ladies are having a picnic in the park and it made me laugh how They're getting all organized on the the mat and Carrie's like got a check for a park poop.

coryne

Yeah

francene

And then Miranda's talking about the guy

coryne

Yeah, and Charlotte has the whole picnic, like, just completely Pinterest ed out. Oh, she does. Yeah, like, it's all the cute things are there. Blankets and baskets and all the things. I love that. But yes, Miranda brings up the dude and basically is complaining about what a dick he is and all the girls, except Samantha, are like, why are you with him? Why are you with him? And Samantha's like, why are you dating him? Just fuck him. Yeah, just,

francene

yes, and that's when they start kind of talking about, like, a fuck buddy.

coryne

Yeah, like, yeah, and she's like, and I love how freaking appalled Charlotte is at the idea. She's like, wait,

francene

everyone has one?

coryne

Like, what are we talking about? But it's when they, it's when they're in the yoga class, which is coming up, where her level of being appalled is at its peak, and I was just like, laughing. Like, she literally had never heard the term fuck buddy before. Yeah. I guess at the time that this came out, maybe that was like a newish term.

francene

I mean, I, I would say so just knowing some of the things that they've covered on like a topic standpoint that I think would be pretty controversial, but also I guess newer. But the other thing they cover in the scene is they talk about like the patterns of guys that they pick. And what made me, and yeah, to your point, Samantha's like, don't have all your devil dags in one basket, like date a couple of people at once go have fun. But it was more of when they defined like Charlotte's pattern of how she builds up the perfect day, the perfect guy, everything. And then it doesn't go to plan immediately.

coryne

Well, he's just set up to fail because 100 percent yeah, full scenario of what it's it's gonna be. And it's the fucking fairy tale. Yeah, like, yeah, no way reality to that. Yeah.

francene

So, I think this is where they kind of put the idea into Charlotte's head of, Oh, okay, you're dating multiple people. It's not just one.

coryne

Yeah, she's like, oh, and it could be more casual. Okay, like, they have such an influence on her.

francene

I know but you know what I always appreciate is specifically her and I guess Carrie to an extent but mainly driven from like her column is how like Charlotte will hear something and like she'll immediately action it like she will go try. She's not messing.

coryne

Like next scene, she's, she's trying it out.

francene

Next scene, she's in. But then it cuts to Carrie writing her article and one of the things she wondered was are we all doomed to make the same decisions over and over on the same pattern?

coryne

And she talks about her, she touches on her pattern about emotionally unavailable guys again. And, which is, it's crazy like, I just think that's so funny that, I don't know, it's like, it's like, Carrie, obviously you see, like, there's some, you know, some level of pattern there, and I don't know, and she's, how long has it been since she's, they mentioned Big, too, that she's been, like, a few weeks without talking to him.

francene

Oh, of talking about him? No, but Or with him.

coryne

I think she says when she's at her apartment that it had been three, I think, I want to say she said three weeks, since she had talked to Big, or like, since she broke up with him again, or something. I don't know. It seemed like a pretty short period of time.

francene

I can't remember, but yeah, I mean, I wonder what the ti Wait, how long was he supposed to go to Paris? For six months, right?

coryne

Right.

francene

Cause it wasn't a year, it was six months.

coryne

I remember it was like, six months could be a year.

francene

Mm. Out

coryne

the whole thing. She's like, you're gonna go to Paris for a year. He's like I said, it could be a year.

francene

Yeah. So maybe, yeah, it's probably been like a month or so. Yeah.

coryne

Left. Yeah.

francene

And then what I hate, I wish they would listen to our feedback. Well, obviously they've already done the episode. They do fucking interviews again.

coryne

I know. And this would even have like a teenager in it. Did you like

francene

I can't like. There's just no purpose to this. When will it stop?

coryne

When will it stop? Like it's so bad and like that. Yeah. Even the, the kid who was like, I mean, I date chicks with playstations and boobs, or he said, or boobs.

francene

Oh my

coryne

god.

francene

Could you imagine that now?

coryne

That's accurate. Do what?

francene

Could you imagine that now with people that are into like, games?

coryne

Jesus,

francene

playstation would have just been like, introduced then.

coryne

Mmhmm.

francene

Isn't that crazy?

coryne

Yeah.

francene

So then I have to admit this is my, my favorite storyline of this episode. So then it cuts to Samantha, who's in bed. I think she's, she's smoking like a joint, but she started in drinking wine. I okay, I will comment in a second. So she starts hearing her neighbors next door fucking and they're Banging against like you can hear them loud.

coryne (2)

Yeah,

francene

and what I love the most is samantha's like I'm just gonna get in so she starts masturbating, but her wine is like on the bed and it doesn't move. I'm like that and it's red wine.

coryne

Like you're making me nervous. No, she had like a little, how are you not moving the

francene

bed more?

coryne

Yeah.

francene

You gotta get more into it, Samantha. Yes, I'm like stealth masturbating.

coryne

Don't you, yeah. Well, I mean, if anybody knew how to stealth masturbate, it's probably her.

francene

Oh my God. I just love. I just love that that's her automatic, like, immediately gets turned on. Yeah.

coryne

Yeah. I know. Not annoyed. Not, I'm trying to sleep. No, I may as well turn it on. She's like,

francene

oh.

coryne

Why not? Why not? She's hilarious.

francene

So then with Carrie we then cut to Carrie in her apartment and she talks about being in a bad pattern and not just specifically about men, but also I think she's been like sleeping in until 12, greasy Chinese food, staying

coryne

out till 3, 12, yeah, her house is, you're not, you know, yeah, she's in a bad pattern of just kind of

francene

very unorganized. There's a lot, a lot of chaos

coryne

it's regulated.

francene

Yes, so then she decides to call her previous fuck buddy who we've not been introduced to yet, but his name is John McFadden so she calls him. I think he's at work and she's like, hey, do you want to come over and she's like six? And he's like 630. He's like

coryne

I love like she's like, Hey, I was just wondering if you wanted to get a drink after work. And he's like, yeah, like he

francene

knows it's code.

coryne

It's already code. There's no

francene

drink.

coryne

Yeah, they make a plan. And then the next scene he's coming over, right?

francene

Oh, he's there. Six, three sharp

coryne

29. He's

francene

ready. And they

coryne

come in and like you said, I wanted to know if you wanted to get a drink and so then she's like, do you want a glass of wine? He's like, yeah. And I'm like, Oh, we're drinking at the house. Okay. We're, this is, this is pre Netflix and chill. Yes.

francene

Oh yeah. But even then I like, I appreciate, cause I think she has like a bottle of wine in like her hand, but I'm like, they're not drinking that.

coryne

No, no. Time wide. They like,

francene

they boo on just get on it. Just

coryne

straight to it. Straight to it. Yeah. Straight in it. Very familiar

francene

And then what made me like awkward watching it is afterwards they're in bed and they're doing like small talk, but they literally know nothing about one another. Like, she's like, how's your sister moved to Kansas. Kansas? And he's like, oh yeah, no Chicago and like my brother Yeah, yeah. So like they just. Don't he's like, are you still working on like, what is it? She's like the column. Yeah.

coryne

Yeah, it's going great. She's like, how's work for you? And he's like, good, good. Like, she has no clue what he does. Yes.

francene

He's like, good, good,

coryne

good, good. And he's like, all right, I gotta go and like, get stressed. And then she's for some reason gets some like, fucking thread of nostalgia or like the girls are in her head about like, it doesn't just have to be. Yeah. And so then she's like, it's like, Hey. Do you wanna have dinner on Friday night? And he's like, dinner? And she's like, yeah. He's like, okay. And so like, they've made a second plan. You know, she's like trying to break out of the pattern with her fuck buddy.

francene

Which is, I mean, after that, don't get me wrong. Fine. If the intimacy is great.

coryne (2)

Yeah.

francene

But then, For me, it's then the part after it. So if that small talk sucks, why, why would I want to put my, yes, why force it?

coryne

And I think she probably is in a mindset where she's thinking like, if I put effort into actually getting to that. Yeah, this can be better. The passion will translate, you know,

francene

Desperate times, desperate times, isn't it?

coryne

It's for real.

francene

Gotta make this work.

coryne (2)

So,

francene

yeah, they, they organize a date, but we know he sees that as a, Oh, a date. Wait, wait, guys. I'm like, I'm coming back here.

coryne

Dinner. Yeah. Sure. Yeah.

francene

So then it cuts to the girls are at yoga and, and sorry, that's when they go into more detail about what like a fuck buddy is. And to your point, who is it that says it? They're like, Is it Charlotte that says, oh my god, it's like dial a dick? Who says that? I love that quote.

coryne

Yes, one of them says that. And I love too that Samantha says something out loud. She's like, why would you try to date your fuck buddy? And Harry's like, a little louder. I don't think that 80 year old woman in the back heard you.

francene

I just love that they were talking about it.

coryne

I know, and I've never been to a I've never been to a yoga class where I would have felt comfortable having any sort of a conversation with someone else like

francene

yeah, any fitness class to be honest.

coryne

Yeah. No, I mean, I've, I mean, like me and Derek used to take Zumba classes together forever, but that's like a club vibe and like, you know, like laugh and have little conversations in between or whatever. But yeah, no, I'm not a full blown

francene

discussion about

coryne

fucking in a yoga class. Like that's hilarious.

francene

It is funny, but then it obviously, again, spurs Charlotte on where I think she's grabbing like a drink or a smoothie and she randomly asks the guy out. And he's like, sure. And she's like,

coryne

I know she's fully emboldened now by

francene

the first time.

coryne

Yeah. Carrie's bravery in asking out the dude that she just got done fucking.

francene

She's like, I can do this.

coryne

I can do it too.

francene

So then we cut back to Carrie's fuck buddy. He shows up for the date that they had set up at Carrie's apartment and she is pretty dressed up compared to, I think they comment on this compared to how they would like normally see one another. And immediately he starts kissing her and she's like, no, no, we have a sushi. Reservation.

coryne

Yeah.

francene

And he's like, Oh, and she's like, no, I mean, like at a restaurant. I'd be like, we need to cancel this day. Yeah.

coryne

That was the first thing that I was like, cringe. This dude is cringe. I know. Oh my God. So they go to sushi and as you can imagine, it's goes from like cringey to worse. Like oh's

francene

so bad.

coryne

She orders like all the yummy stuff. He doesn't eat sushi doesn't even like it. He orders like chicken teriyaki. Oh, the worst. Yeah. That's the,

francene

that's that, that's the worst is when you go to sushi with someone that is not a sushi person.

coryne

Yeah. Yeah. And she's like, why

francene

didn't you say something? It's like, well, he didn't realize you were actually going out for dinner.

coryne

And then he didn't want to be an uncultured asshole. I'm so good. But then

francene

I didn't she say something like oh, just about work or whatever. And he gives her like a discount code card and he's like talking all about it. And I'm like, Oh my God. And she makes a joke about something and it just really just goes over his head. I'm like, Oh, they're not the best match.

coryne

The best part though, is that he gave her a long distance minutes card. Do you use those?

francene

No. Okay.

coryne

Oh my God. I was like, this is such a fucking relic of history that this is in this episode.

francene

Is it for your cell phone?

coryne

No, this is before you had a cell phone, which this is back in the day. This is a Wednesday. There is a they are, so like you used to pay for long distance by the minute. Like on your landline phone, you had to have like a long distance plan or something like that. But if you didn't have, if you weren't rich and you didn't have like a long distance plan built into your landline number, you could buy these cards and there was like a number on the back and you dialed into it and you had to put in like the credit card number that was on the card and then you got so many minutes. And so like, I remember this because when I went to college, I was out of town from where my parents were. And so I, they, people like, they would give me like 75 minutes of long distance usage.

francene

Oh, I'm sorry. Long distance as in like in the States, it's long distance. Oh shit. Well, we're not big UK.

coryne

Oh, yeah. Well, I mean, shit, I was only an hour from home and it was a long distance phone call. Yeah, and it was like, it would cost you like 35 cents a minute or something like that. Or maybe they, I could be wrong about that. It was probably way cheaper than that. It's been too long ago. But like, of course, the more minutes you bought, the cheaper it was. Anyway, the whole thing in like this, but it's such a like moment. Yeah. Where like, and ever, and then once cell phones became a thing, like who has a fucking long distance plan? Like nobody does anymore and if you have a landline, it's just all free. Like you can call. I don't even,

francene

I don't even know where I haven't had a landline in years. Do you have a landline?

coryne

No, I haven't had one. I can't remember having one as an adult. I remember having one in my college dorm room. I remember that. And maybe I probably had one in like the other two houses that I've lived in in college when I lived with my boyfriend. And that's it. I don't remember having one right out of col like, it's been that long ago. Like, I've had only a cell phone for as long as I can remember.

francene

This is why, don't you think with, you know when you fill out like a, a form, whatever form it is, and it asks you for your home, Your cell phone and then your work. And I'm like, it is just one number. What is like, why aren't we update that? Who has all those days? I don't even have a work number. Only

coryne

80 year olds have a landline and like, like I could think of like. Like Michael has a work line at his desk, so he has like a cell phone and then you can call his desk. But like, you can only, you're only gonna get him there if he happens to be sitting at his desk, which is rare. That's what I mean, no

francene

one has ever, same like, if I called like a house phone, I mean, how many people would just be, you know. My grandma,

coryne

you can call my grandma, she's still. Yeah, that's true,

francene

to be fair, I would, yeah, I would

coryne

still call like my. She still rings. She, she's, she's 94, so I mean, cut her some slack, but she she can't, she still is confused about like how to use her cell phone, like she, so like if you want to talk to her, you have to call her landline, because like if you call her cell phone, good chance she's not going to answer it, because she's going to be like, what is that noise? Yeah,

francene

my, my grams were the same, which I get. From like a generation, but that's what's so wild about. Like, like what we've gone through in our lifetime so far is like dial up internet, like landlines to then cell phones, to even like our cell phones, having like music camera,

coryne

wild became a thing

francene

when, what?

coryne

CDs became a thing. When I was in high school, I still bought cassette tapes

francene

and put

coryne

them in my car to listen to. Yeah, I remember the first CD that I got, and I was in, And it was a French Sinatra CD and it was only because like someone gave it to my dad as like a, look at this, look what's coming kind of thing. We had nothing to play the damn thing in.

francene

They're like, this is cool.

coryne

This is cool. What's this going to be like? I'd be like, yeah, I know it's crazy. I mean, that's yeah. Getting old, but whatever.

francene

That is wild. Yeah.

coryne

Right. So

francene

the other thing that also cracked me up with this guy, and I have to admit, it's like one of those like dad jokes. But she says something like, Oh, do you want to get some sake? And he goes to the, to the, he's like, Hey, suck it to me.

coryne

Yeah, I know. I would have burst

francene

out laughing, but Carrie's like, Oh,

coryne

he's like, I mean, Carrie is so chic and so, like, a girl about town, you know what I mean? Yeah, he seemed the opposite. He seems like, yeah, he seems like he belongs, like, in the Bronx. No, I wouldn't even put that on the Bronx. Like, it's like, it's like countries come to town, you know what I mean? Like, he's so unrefined and, like, uncool, you know? That's

francene

why I wonder Again, yeah, that's what I mean. I wonder because surely you would have had to have like bumped into each other at like a bar and maybe drinking, right? I don't know. Like you just, you know, the sex was good. And you're like, okay, let's just keep on doing this. But there must have been some type of chemistry, but seeing them together. I'm like, there's no chemistry. Good. That's bad. So then we cut back to Samantha, who is again, getting off after her neighbors and they're loud, but then she's super loud. And then they knock and she knocks back. I'm like,

coryne

yeah, no, like the first time she did it, she was discreet about it. And this time she's fully like, don't give a fuck. If I can hear you, you go hear me. And then they like knock on the wall and like, Oh my God. And she's like, so like, You know, loves it. Like she's eating it up, she's fucking eating it up. That like they can hear each other. I know.

francene

crunchy. So then it cuts to, oh yeah, this is a big step for Miranda. So then it cuts to the girls are out for brunch and Miranda invites her lawyer boyfriend, which I'm like, that is a big step for the girls.

coryne

Yeah. Like they, I can't think of other than big, who else have they brought into the circle?

francene

No one else at this point. To be honest, no one else. And have they done Big yet? Yes. Yeah,

coryne

yeah, yeah. I remember the cocktails and he, they thought he wasn't going to come and he shows up. Right. So we've done Steve then. Oh yeah, but yes, yeah. So Steve came in, but Steve kind of invited himself.

francene

Oh, yeah, but then they, fuck, have we already had Steve?

coryne

Yes, they've already been together and broken up.

francene

Oh, shit, yeah, okay. Remember,

coryne

yeah, remember the Blue Moon episode? Yes, that's

francene

what I was thinking, yeah. Oh, okay, alright, fine.

coryne

Steve, Steve

francene

kind of met with the girls. So while they're waiting for the guy, Charlotte speaks about how she's Booked like all these dates and then she's like I have two on one night and they're like, how are you gonna do?

coryne

My mom swears that when she was in college She was like the queen of double booking her saturday nights with date. Stop. Yeah She's like used to do it all the time She's like so I had one it's I would have one at six And then I would you know get tired Eight 30, be like,

coryne (2)

oh. Or have like an early

coryne

morning, the next morning by eight 30 he would drop me off at my dorm. I would go up to my dorm room, you know, like check myself in the mirror and have the second guy pick me up at nine.

francene

Oh my God, that's amazing.

coryne

She used to do it all the time. I love

francene

your mom for that.

coryne

I know. I don't know if I've ever double booked in one night. I probably just never had that many people that it, like I had to

francene

I'm, I'm like very, I've never had

coryne

that issue focused. Like I've always, yeah, like I've never been good at like, I've had periods where like I had a handful of dudes like on the roster, but I wasn't seeing any one of them seriously, you know? But so, I mean, maybe that's what it was, but damn sure. I don't even know if I ever booked two in one weekend. Okay.

francene

Yeah, no, I'm, I've always been like one but I just love again that it's like Charlotte. Yeah, amazing. I love that. And then so Kevin, the lawyer shows up and immediately he's like bitching about stuff. And he's like, I need to take you this like call. And he just yells over to the waitress. He's like beer here. He's like so aggressive,

coryne

aggressive and so fucking just like rude.

francene

Yes. Oh, I hate this. But then Miranda knowing how Just in general how she is and she doesn't stand for like certain stuff with standards Her the beer comes and she starts wiping off because she doesn't want to piss him off

coryne

Yes, I just don't like a waitress. Like she's fully like very

francene

out of character for a

coryne

moment She's already an abusive relationship

francene

Seriously like in this day and age. Oh,

coryne

yeah, it is

francene

not acceptable But this is when like Samantha, she makes her comment. She's like, Ooh, he seems a bit tightly wound. That's one way to put it. Yeah. Okay. So then they switched to Charlotte. She's on a date and the date is going beautifully. This is date number one. They're talking about kids. Of course they are because it's Charlotte. She's like all over having the best time, but then she's like, Oh my God. And she realizes she's late for day two. Now

coryne

I just, I don't feel

francene

immediately. Yeah. She's like, I don't feel good. Well, if that was me and the date was going that well, which it is, I would just not go to the second one personally.

coryne

Yeah.

francene

Like

coryne

I would do the same thing. That's what I thought too when she realizes what time it is Like he cuz she was really into that guy.

francene

Yes Why like if it's going that good like just reschedule the other one like who gets

coryne

to the bathroom and call that guy and fake Sick with him.

francene

Yes. Yes. That's what I would have done then continued But of course she's like I need to go back and he's like, oh my god, are you okay? And she's like, no, I just don't feel good. So, yeah, then, in fact, just to make it easier from like a flow, so then let's cut to like the second date.

coryne (2)

Yeah, also goes great.

francene

Yeah, goes great. He seems very charming, very like. I don't know, chiseled.

coryne

Yeah, he's tall, dark, and handsome.

francene

Yeah, literally. So then they're outside her apartment and she yawns and he's like, can I call you? Then they have a passionate kiss, and then dying inside because her first date, Eric, walks out of her building and is like, Charlotte? Oh, can you imagine, like, what are the odds that he was dropping off soup?

coryne

Because he was that nice of a guy. He's like, I dropped something off for you. Like the perfect guy for Charlotte. I know, so thoughtful. And then he fully catches her on his second date and, like, throws her straight into the bus and, like, tells homie what's going on.

francene

Yeah, and he's like, at least you got the late shift.

coryne

Yeah, yeah. And then like, he's like walking away and Charlotte's like, so disappointed. And the dude's like, Hey, you going uptown? Want to share a cap? Like they're already like move on. com. Like, Oh, Charlotte, way to screw it up. I

francene

know. And then she was left with nothing. And then I think there's like a. Overarching where it's like she then never took advice again from like the girls

coryne

Well, we know that's not true, but okay

francene

For this week,

coryne

right? Yeah, this week. She's over it. She's over it.

francene

Okay, so then let's cut to Samantha so she It goes back, she gets a note from her neighbors saying they want to meet her. So immediately she asks, I think it was like Jose, the janitor, and she's like, Hey, do you know them? And he's like, yeah. And she's like, are they hot? And he's like, Yeah,

coryne

he also and

francene

she's

coryne

like perfect English is obviously his second language So she asks him if if they know him and what does he know about them? And she says that the husband is musician and the wife is a dancer. Yeah Immediately

francene

you're like, oh, this is gonna be

coryne

yeah loving it. And then he's like she's like, are they hot and he's like, yes I feel like there's like a language barrier there. She's

francene

like done.

coryne

Yeah. And so she's like, let's do this. So then later that evening she's dressed in her outfit. I can't, it's full blown lingerie though with like a, like a like a lace, what is that called? Not, I don't want to say jacket. It's like a yeah,

francene

I mean she looks amazing all in black.

coryne

Nylon, like thigh high nylons, you know, lingerie, jack, the whole thing. And so she like peeks at her door and she like tiptoes over and like knock, does her same little knock she did on the wall after they hurt each other on the door. And they open the door and it's like an overweight, immediately

francene

catfished.

coryne

Before there was catfishing, she got wall fished. It is No, they're like a middle age, like 70-year-old, middle like Eastern European couple. And like, that's the funny thing is she's like, I don't remember their names, but the husband is in a polka band and the wife. Was a dancer several, several years ago,

francene

many moons ago. And they're like, Oh, Samantha.

coryne

Yeah. And she immediately pivots. And she's like yeah, could y'all keep it down? Thank you.

francene

Which, I mean, and then what does she do? She immediately goes back and moves her bed to the other side.

coryne

And she's like, ferociously, like, yanking on it, because it's a big, heavy bed, and she's like, in her lingerie, like, I'm getting it off this fucking wall! Like, she's disgusted. She's absolutely disgusted.

francene

Because then, moving forward, it would be an absolute

coryne

turn off.

francene

Yes.

coryne

I would have to move

francene

rooms. I don't know if she had, like, a two bedroom apartment, but I'd have to move. That is gross.

coryne

I will say though, good for them, good for being that old and still being that into each other, good for them. Oh,

francene

yeah, they were, they were having their best, best life.

coryne

They were living it up.

francene

So then it cuts to Kevin the lawyer is sitting outside at a restaurant with Miranda and they're celebrating because he becomes partner. They're drinking champagne And I guess like Miranda, like organized it for him. And immediately he's like, she's like, how do you feel? This is awesome. And he's like, great. Same pay for like more work and all this other stuff. And he's like, ugh. And if this is expensive champagne, it tastes nothing more than like the cheap stuff. Oh, worst person.

coryne

I know. Don't you talk about champagne length?

francene

I honestly thought that too. I was like, how dare you, sir?

coryne

That's a nice bottle of champagne. No. Yeah. He's obviously just like the most negative person and just angry at all times. But this is the moment where Miranda has had it. And she's like, well, I like the champagne and this is a beautiful day. And she's like, I'm not going to be negative any fucking more essentially. And like. Breaks the cycle of like dealing with his bullshit, you know,

francene

especially knowing that normally she's such a pass pessimistic person Now she's like, oh I'm all like Optimistic And then lo and behold who does she bump into none other than skipper

coryne

Hey, Skippy,

francene

and he's like, no, I don't want to speak to you. I can't remember what he says, but she like runs after him.

coryne

Oh, remember the other episode, though, where they reconnect at the end of season one? It's like the moment he doesn't want her. She's down. She's like,

francene

wait, wait, wait, wait. Oh, yes. Because he had the girlfriend who worked at Vogue. Yeah,

coryne

she called and he broke up with her while he was still inside of her. The worst. Oh my God. The Miranda's chasing after Skipper and he wants nothing to do with it. He's like, no. You broke my heart twice. Like, he

francene

literally runs off.

coryne

Yeah. He's like, no more, bitch. No more.

francene

Do we see him again? I think so, right?

coryne

Skipper just keeps making little cameos. I don't know for sure, but I feel like there's a chance. I feel like there's a chance. I feel like there's a

francene

chance

coryne

to see him one more time.

francene

But yeah, you know, what's funny too is like while she's like, she's like running after him, she's like, Skippy, like, let's do it again. Let's have dinner sometime. She's like yelling out, but with a smile on her face.

coryne

Yeah. No, it's like a game for her with him. Like she just loves it. She knows she can like suck him back in and then she'll be over it the moment he's interested. Yes. A hundred

francene

percent. Okay. So then it cuts back to lots of movie dates in this episode. So John the fuck buddy and Carrie go for a movie date. And you just continue to see there's like no chemistry between them. They're just speaking like the worst. So even like. I would say this is like small talk that I would speak to like a colleague who I have like no relationship with and we're waiting for a meeting to start.

coryne

Yeah. You don't know anything about them and you're just trying to like literally. You don't want to. You're just passing

francene

the time. Just trying to be nice.

coryne

To Carrie's credit, like she's still, she's fucking trying. She's,

francene

oh my God, cause she's like, look at this like architecture. I just love this street and like this, this and this.

coryne

That's what I love about New York and blah, blah, blah. And he like, they stop in front of her door and he's like looking at her, like smiling and she's like, what? Like thinking he's going to say something about anything she's just said. And he's like, your tits look really great in that dress. And she's just like, Oh God, like all done, all done. Like all right, I gotta go wash my hair. Bye. Oh, just

francene

the worst. And then they kiss. And as they like, walk away, because he says something like, she's like, Oh, I'd invite you up. But I have, you know, something. And he's like, Oh, yeah, same. I have something else in the morning. And they kiss. And she's like, that this will be the last time we see each other.

coryne

Yeah. You thought that's why you yeah,

francene

yeah,

coryne

you fucked

francene

up that lifeline.

coryne

Yeah, that's why.

francene

And then she's like the fuck line. And then she's like, and just like that, I'm back to the same old pattern of restlessness, greasy Chinese food.

coryne

Yeah.

francene

Sleeping in until noon.

coryne

Yeah. To be fair, man, it's not it's not the worst thing. OK, like I could I could be not angry about like a

francene

Maybe like a two week stint in my life where I would say I could maybe do that for like A week or you

coryne

didn't like it would be cool to be on no routine for a while. It's what I do love it when crossing's not in school because like, I do feel like we have no routine and it's quite nice.

francene

Yeah. I, I do like that too. Or like in the evening you're not so like, okay, we need to go to bed at a certain time. Yeah. Because, you know, I saw someone's like, someone post this like Instagram video and it made me like crack up where someone was like, for all you like 30. Like whatever year olds, what do you do in the morning when you don't have kids? You don't have to get them up. Do you just like get up and just go to the office? Just go have breakfast yourself

coryne

What like you do have time to like take a full shower and have coffee. I will say this I think about this often so before I had a child and I was in my corporate career because I Quit. I went out on my own years before I had her, but I struggled every single day of my life to get up on time and get to the office on time. I was late almost every single day of like my entire, like nine years. I worked in like a corporate career before I went on the phone. The worst could not be on time to save my fucking life. Like it was bad. Okay. I got written up for it once. It was so bad. Like, I mean, I was terrible at it. And now like. I don't even have to set my alarm. I'm going to wake up between seven and 7 15 every single morning. Like clockwork does not matter when she was not as old and like needed more attention, because now this chick sets her own alarm, gets up, gets herself dressed, brushes, she ready to go. All I got to do is go down and like, get her some breakfast, make her lunch. We're ready to hit the door. Yeah, that's good. It's nice. It's coming. I know yours is. Yeah. She's

francene

getting slightly closer. I still need to nag and be like, have you brushed your teeth? Have you brushed your teeth? Brush your teeth.

coryne

Yeah. Yeah. No, but she, I mean, I still have to do some of that, but but I like, it's crazy to me. And like, first, like I'm never late anywhere anymore, ever. Like I'm always on time five minutes early. Like if I'm late, it's because there was like a legit traffic situation or like I'm

francene

always running with chaos behind me.

coryne

So to those people who are like, what do you do if you don't have you're fucking late all the time, okay?

francene

Yeah, I'm always late.

coryne

Like, you're way less organized, you don't have your shit together as much. Cause like, once you have kids, like, you fucking can't. Like, you have to keep it all together. Like yeah, I used to be a mess before I had her. And then like, she's, she's regulated the shit out of my life.

francene

Yes, I do. Like, I do kind of crave that good routine. But I find like Luna's organized. She's put together like she is all of her stuff. And then I show up at work with like, oh, Christ, where's my laptop? Like, where, where's my badge? Like,

coryne

yeah, I mean, I'm, if I, I also will say I've never had a traditional career since I had her. And so I can't, like, I have several friends who do that. I can't imagine how fucking stressed out I would be and how early I'd have to get up to get myself dressed and pressed and ready to walk out the door. And her, and then you got to leave it enough time to get them to whatever, before you get to, Oh, I would be a wreck. I've never had to do that. Like my re like, I just get up in the morning, get her ready, take her to school. And then I come home and like, take, I work out. I take a shower. Like I do. My whole day doesn't even start to like eight 15 after I've dropped her off at school. So

francene

that's like the one thing I miss is like. Because the mornings I find are just, it's not like they're chaotic. It's just, we're, we're just rushing. Like we're constantly like, shit, we have like, we need to hurry up. But it's like, then the minute I get to work, because I go in like later now, it's like, I have no in between. It's like straight into meetings. And like, you know, sometimes I just want to sit, just read my emails. Have a cup of coffee and just no one speak to me, whereas like, yes, ease into the day. Whereas it's like the minute I get in, it's like,

coryne

boom. Yeah. Yeah. It's time to get this shit done. Yeah. I know. I, it's definitely, it's such a balance that only women experience with children and careers.

francene

Yeah, literally. Okay, so that is that episode done. So we will leave Carrie into that crazy current lifestyle. And the next episode is season two, episode 15 shortcomings. And I can't remember this. I just had a quick look at it. I don't remember it either. It'll be a surprise for us. It will. Honestly, it really has. I've been so strict with not watching it ahead. So I am loving that. And then you get here and you're like, but I kind of want to know what's the next one about. I know. I always look up the pictures and then I'm like, oh, it jogs my memory. I see that the title when it comes up and I'm like, I have no

coryne

idea. And then within like the first minute of the episode, I'm like, Oh, this one, you know, Yeah, for sure. Oh,

francene

wait, you know, in this episode it's what's his name? What is his name? Oh, my God. What is that guy's name? He dated can you see that?

coryne

Oh God, his name is oh, oh, he played slim man in Charlie's Angels with Lucy Liu.

francene

Is it Justin?

coryne

Didn't he date Jennifer Aniston? He married Jennifer Aniston. Justin Theroux.

francene

Yes, but isn't he in Sex and the City twice? I think so. This is his initial cameo, but then he comes in a different character later on, doesn't he?

coryne

Yeah, you're right, he does.

francene

Oh, fun facts. Fun facts for sure. We're throwing them out there today.

coryne

For next week, our next episode.

francene

Yes, and actually on that point, I'm gonna go find that quiz to find out if we are

coryne

If we match. Charlotte

francene

and Sam.

coryne

Yes, I can't wait. That'll be fun.

francene

Yeah, same. I'm gonna do it and I won't break it.

coryne

We'll see if we trust you on that.

francene

All right, well, we will see you all next time. Next week.
